I bought all my games through EPIC games launcher and had no problems at all. It's certainly much faster than that steam bloat software. Did you know that playing the original counter-strike 1.6 installs malware and Trojans on your computer? How can anyone trust a company that hasn't attempted to fix exploits in their old games, especially something that dangerous, is beyond me.

The botnet shit is overblown, but yes the Epic Game Store is still shit and you shouldn't financially support a company bringing paid exclusivity to storefronts that they had no hand in developing. Plus given the guaranteed sales minimum, all sales of the game will pretty much only go to Epic and not the dev themselves (since I seriously doubt they'll ever reach sales levels on the level of those guaranteed minimums)

Ignoring the epic stuff, I still wouldn't reccomend Satisfactory. I was in the private alpha, and the game is just worse than Factorio in every way imaginable. Just play Factorio instead.
