I'll give it a shot.
Seems super convenient if the input lag isn't bad.

project stream sucked, doesn't look like they fixed any of the issues, no thanks

Wouldn't there be major input lag?

Next level drm and lag. Get fucked kike

>doubting Google of all companies
Scared the $1000s you spent on consoles and PC upgrades went to waste?

I like to OWN things i use.

>You'll pay to play them without literally owning them
>Input lag
>Input lag worsen the farther you are
>Input lag on a wireless controller
>Tolerating horrible input lag
>Having horrible input lag on the first place
>20gb an hour
>1080p with a bitrate of a 720p video
>"Current Gen Graphicz"

Console gaymers are already use to lag and slow frame rates so it won't matter. It only has to be more convenient for it to be successful. It'll also completely irradiates piracy so companies will be pushing this hard if it works.

my pc shit becomes obsolete every 3-6 years, you suck at life

retard my post was positive

Lag will be low enough to play the Minesweeper comfortably (only 9.99$/month!).

casuals aren't going to want to pay to play games, gamers aren't going to pay to play laggy games they can't even mod

who's the market for this piece of shit?

>Poorfags can't
>Richfags busy playing games with their 2000$ PC
>Mobile fags busy with their f2p games

Probably the same retards who fell for the Ouya meme.

>casuals aren't going to want to pay to play games
why not?
>gamers aren't going to pay to play laggy games they can't even mod
the succes of consoles seems to indicate otherwise

The death of the subscription model against F2P shows that people really hate paying subscriptions for games. Console gamers will also just play the game on their console, why would they pay a subscription ot play a game on another platform with a poorer experience

yes, stadia can get fucked

Do you have to pay a subscription THEN pay for the game?

>really hate paying subscriptions for games.
Its' about lower barriers to entry, and then progressively fleecing more money out of everyone when they're hooked in.
There is no telling how cheap an entry into stadia will be, perhaps you get a 10 hour free sample with a youtube acount, who knows.

The trick is to make people pay a lot without realising it, hence loot boxes and microtransactions

If you have an upfront fee that shit is going to turn people away

Going to be demolished by Microsoft

i will only buy stadia if i can fuck her

first they need to make 1 Gigabit internet cheaper and more available

Sounds like the name of a transvestite porn star from some random third world shit hole

I use steamlink to connect from my PC to TV, it's a 1080/60 stream over a wired local connection.
Even still there's infrequent stability drops and input lag. How the fuck will there not be over a WAN instead?
This isn't netflix where you can buffer several seconds to mitigate drops.

It seems like it will be the platform for the next generation of big MMO games built around the latency limitations. Their initial crop of demo games doesn't really seem well suited to the platform. If they coupled it with a local WASM+Vulkan environment to reduce latency at the cost of visuals for certain types of games, or even just segments of games they could really open up its capabilities for more traditional games.

However just getting devs on to the GNU/Linux+Vulkan platform is going to be enough of a challenge for them, so far the devs they've attracted seem to be going the Wine route. Getting them to go even further to optimize their games with a web delivered version in addition to the streaming version would probably be way to much.

>Select all images with traffic lights to proceed to the next level
>You are logged into multiple devices. Please enter your phone number to prove it is you.
>You have been idle for 14 days, your savegames will be deleted unless you log back in soon.

Fucking trash, streaming games is the last thing I want

>Play vidya game
>Google streams it to me
>"ContentID has detected copyrighted material"
>Google account banned

Why do anglos inevatibly turn out like the people from The Hills Have Eyes?

Fuck Jewgle

wheres the linux versión?

It works in your fucking web browser, like YouTube.
Because it basically makes you watch you own game stream.
Guess where it is.

Attached: n1z045.jpg (1539x938, 384K)

then why is it being called a console if its literally a webpage

It’s trash

It's trash

Platform is probably the better term.
People just call it a 'console' because it's the closest word that they can think of to describe it

>playing game
>log on next day
>game no longer exists
t-thanks google I just wanted to play shadowrun on mobile

yeah, just look at all their massive success stories like google glass, google wave, google buzz, and jaiku.

>170 ping with 200MB down
>45 GB/hour
>35 MB down minimum for it to even work at 1000+ ping
Dead on arrival

>Its' about lower barriers to entry
Free to play games already exist. Subscription based gaming will never be able to compete with mobile gaming or even gaming on dedicated hardware.

Even if you pretend there's a market for console/pc tier graphics but for people who aren't interested in the hardware needed to run them, Stadia isn't able to deliver those kinds of games without massive compromises.
