FemC looked less generic because the default had such a strong association with blue at the character design level, the polar opposite of blue boy being red girl mattered more in that context. Not to mention her canon responses were cheerful and bubbly, whereas the boy was dour and aloof.
In contrast, Joker's main color is black. This girl's main color is red, it's not as drastic of a shift, especially since they've done it before. For it to work as well as P3P, she would've had to have white hair. It's also harder to quantify the "opposite" of being a wacky weirdo in way way that wouldn't be boring as fuck, so I imagine she'll just be vaguely cheerful like the P3P one.

I honestly feel like whoever's in charge of this must have a soft spot for FemC because it's legitimately just her again with different hair, barring some dramatic personality differences, but the protagonists have such few moments of being able to demonstrate a unique personality in the first place.

Having put upwards of 50 hours into both PS3 and PS4 versions, I can tell you that

- PS3 version never melted PS3s, overheating issue was from Disgaea D2. The issue the PS3 version of Hundred Knight had was regular crashing (uniquely, it was a crash to desktop, the game would simply stop and then load the PS3s XMB - no other game ever crashed like that for me, they just hard crashed the PS3)
- That crash happened once every five or so hours of play in my experience. Didn't seem to be triggered by anything in particular. I had around 12 crashes total by the time I got the Platinum trophy.
- This issue was introduced in the western release and didn't exist in the Japanese release.
- It was never patched.
- The PS4 does NOT have the same crashing issue, on any region. It's fine.

How many times do you need to replay a game anyway? With P5 we're looking at a 100+ hrs long playthrough and there is nothing that really warrants and another run.

Even if they add new dungeons and remix the story a bit it's still gonna be 90% the same game. If you missed the original this is a good opportunity to jump in. If you're a diehard fan then there are rythm game spin offs, anime and maybe give a shot to the older the older Persona/SMT games.
