I live in texas and I work retail. We are ALWAYS sold out of PS4's, despite getting a shipment of 10 pros and 15 slims weekly. We maybe sell an xbox once or twice a week on a good week.

Hell, on black friday for the past 2 black fridays in a row, we got 2 and a half pallets of PS4's and a full pallet of Xbones. We open our doors at 6pm and by midnight, we're down to around 1/3rd of a pallet. By 7 am when I leave, we're lucky if we have any in stock, including our normal stock. in 2017, we had half a pallet left of Xbones sitting around till midnight, and we just put the remaining 30 or so in the cage. Last year, not even 1/3rd of the pallet sold, despite us giving away a 60$ gift card with the purchase instantly (ps4 was the same price as the xbone and didnt have the gift card option), and it sat in our fucking back hallway for over 3 months until jan when we finally sold enough to put the remainder in the back cage.

We still 2-3x more fucking switches than we do xbones, and the ps4 easily outsells both. Not even RDR2 bundle moved more copies while we sold out of the ps4 bundle before 1am launch night.
