Play them back to back, you'll realize that ME3 is extreme trash. ME:A is far from being perfect, but the community patches and the official fixes made it playable.
But don't buy the game, just pirate it.

MY FUCKING SIDES, no we hated it because it was a shit game, with shit characters, a shit antagonist, brought back the shittiest part of ME1 the mako, was a shittier version of the already shitty Dragon Age Inquisition, and ultimately just managed to retread on plot points the original series did only in a much shittier way.
