First for which pot guy should I trust?

I want to FUCK Lady Butterfly!

Help please

But she's old.

Any anons on Corrupted Monk yet? I assume it's just an exercise in parrying, Is there an easier way?

How do I beat genichiro?

that's the best part, fool
GILF is kino

you don't
just die and let the cutscene play

After you go outside from the window, turn right and head towards any towers you see with the smoke. That's how I found it, it isn't far.

He's the true final boss after you defeat Genichiro at the end of the game.

PROTECC

Attached: 2019.03.23-19.07_05.png (1920x1080, 3.45M)

He dies anyway

Is Isshin the Tengu?

No the second fight.

>But she's old.
She's also fit enough to pull off the shit she can. Despite her looks her body must be lithe muscle underneath.

>Is there an easier way?
Nope and you better learn good from it as you'll fight buffed version of him later

Why the fuck am I fighting roosters? Why the fuck am I fighting grasshoppers? Why the fuck am I fighting lizards?

What do I do with this guy? Can't talk to him, he just stands there.

Attached: sekiro.jpg (1920x1080, 227K)

Him
Sorry the monk is actually a she. My mistake

Shouldn't it be sword-catching-butt?

because you are at the very beginning of the game and cant be trusted to fight real enemies

Should be able to talk to him. He charges the fat dude when you do.

if that's who I think you talk to him before beating the drunkard and he helps out, usually eating shit in the process

I just ran around waiting for her to do an attack and did my own running attack whenever possible. very tedious but it worked.

>spend 2.5 hours on the Ape boss yesterday.
>beat him first try today
Now I don't know if it was actually hard or I was just tired.

>tfw I didn't find him and after the mini-boss he came rushing in to help me

Attached: Deletu disu.png (500x500, 566K)

Any ideas as to how to open this door?

Attached: sekiro_2019_03_23_17_53_36_790.jpg (1920x1080, 1.25M)

This is after I killed the fat boss, I never met him before the fight. He just appeared after the fat guy had only 1 life left. Where was he?

Here? Cause he isn't there.

Go to the other side.

If anyone is wondersing how to kill the giant serpent here's how it's done. When night comes to Ashina he'll be sleeping in the sunken valley. Teleport to the idol you get to from the kite on the other side of the temple valley. You'll be above him rest is just jumping and doing the fatal hit. Enjoy

DOES DRAGONROT COME FROM RESURRECTING OR DYING AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Literally me on 7spears and lone longswordsman earlier today.
Now i'm getting absolutely butt fucked by the same ape, fuck it going to sleep for a while
tips?

Get to the other side

Cute feet

How the fuck do I even kill that fucking snake eyes?
>fucker takes virtually no damage
>her posture goes up very slowly and regenerates really fast
>kills me in 2 hits
>can't block her shit without losing all my posture
>if I deflect she immediately combos with a shot to the face
who the fuck thought this was ok?

Is that after the Guardian Ape fight? still stuck lmao

Yes

then you went in the side entrance and not the front
he was just hanging out right there all along

Couple questions for those who’ve beaten it because I’m a fucking wagie doing overtime this weekend
Is there a new game plus?
Are there unlockable outfits, alternate swords?

Attached: F1CD3632-FAE5-4B42-8629-06EADF8372D0.jpg (400x400, 42K)

Get used to it there's another one you'll have to fight and she'll be surrounded by cronies.

Shouldn't it be sword-catching butt technique since the sword is being caught?

sry image

Attached: 20190323155108_1.jpg (1920x1080, 578K)

Have you tried opening it from the other side?

ive beat ogre, big sword dude and horseman. Any other bosses I can do before lady butterfly?

SOMEONE TELL ME HOW DRAGONROT WORKS

why the fuck is the shamisen lady so fucking hard

I beat them easily with 3 attack power
Contrary to popular belief, you can stealth their first bar off. The poison lake one is easier, the gunfire snow valley one you have to lure then grapple out then sneak around.
Do a few firecracker into stabs to get their health down, then it's aggressive r1 into perfect parrying time

Follow the fucking pink smoke after talking to the little shit how hard can it be?

That'll teach you not to talk to strangers.

Looks like it. Fact that he's not there is really weird, have you tried reloading/restarting the game? If so then I have no idea mate.

Firecrackers. The answer is always firecrackers.

Where was the front entrance? In the courtyard with the guy's father?

It's supposed to be there

you can fight her with no adds and get a stealth deathblow on her, if you go from the shrine from the back of the room. still exploited the fucker by letting her walk on the tent and hitting her feet. fuck this boss.

Biggest tip is take it slowly and use either flame vent or firecrackers to stun him.

> the sword is being caught
it's a butt-catching technique you dumbass, it's even in the name holy shit you're stupid

Attached: 1523892967380.png (1280x720, 758K)

>kill ape
>he gets back up

I'm so sick of this fucking game

The one in the estate wants to kill and replace the carp
The one in the palace wants to merge with the carp

Pick the first one if you want sad feels because of the old squidman caretaker

Attached: 1524500633464.gif (200x160, 2.41M)

You've killed Genichiro and received the mandate from Kuro, right?

>DMC5 is stylish action and a lot of it has its roots in comics+anime, some animation feel more unnatural because they follow the rule of cool.
not an argument, the "rule of cool" has nothing to do with what Im talking about, just compare someone like king cerberus or urizen to anyone from sekiro or soulsborne in general. The DMC5 bosses are animated "well" but they completely lack the impact and weight in fromsoft games which if anything are "anime" in a far more subtle way and it makes the weighty animations feel that much more pronounced

Do I need to cure Dragonrot for certain npc quests?

Yes

Fucking

Attached: 20190323100217_1.jpg (2560x1440, 374K)

What's the reward? They said there will be a reward.

Where the hell do I find Memories? I've only just managed to make a prayer bead necklace and I'm doing such shitty damage that it's driving me up the wall.

>bb-b-but muh hitboxes
Nigga, you just bad

How?

Attached: 20190323100132_1.jpg (2560x1440, 483K)

Both are valid. Just depends on the use of hyphens.
Butt-catching-sword technique = "Butt is catching the sword."
Sword-catching butt technique = "Sword catching using butt."

>run past
>reee notice me

Attached: 1550359242438.gif (266x243, 250K)

From has never made anything remotely as good as Vergils Judgement Cut End in 5

so who's emma, i didn't get the game yet but i'm curious. is she one of those fox-girl-thing?

Where do I find the fat guy that you spirit away with the feathers?
What happens to the small guy in the hat after you assist him in getting to his sons grave? He said he'll return to Ashina but the pace you met his is empty.

Crouch through some of the bamboo.

I like the combat but the level design is so shitty it kinds of ruins the game.

It's DaS 3 all over again.

Killing bosses.

Who /stilljustapuppy/ here?

>buy phantom Kunai
>can’t even see it in the upgrade menu
Great game

another good example of exactly what im talking about, the judgement cut end looks "cool" but it has no impact to it. in sekiro its scarier to deal with the hammer miniboss in the first village than to look at the JCE happen a millimeter in front of you

>everyone revives with full HP
>you only revive with half
Literally unfair. 0/10. Refunded.

Overall, I prefer DS and Nioh due to more playstyle options and gear. But this is still a quality game full of kino moments

To the right of Senpou temple checkpoint by the tree
What guy?

Is gunfort a dead end?

Did he leave a note?

father?
If this is by the drunkard boss, in the memory, he's just chilling out in front of the courtyard

Attached: 1529762489054.jpg (621x396, 46K)

You have to progress to the point it's on the upgrade tree you retard.

duck

>but it has no impact to it

getting hit by it is pretty fucking impactful

4th tier, get one 3rd tier for it to be visible

Anyone know how to get to Senpou Temple? Still at Blangonga now

Attached: 1531987308060.png (198x42, 20K)

well meme'd. Well how do I get to the other side then?

It feels like a 30 dollar game sold at full price.
It’s good but very similar to their other games where there is much more content

Nice.

Anyone ring this belll?

Attached: 0FA3ED4C-A960-48FA-BE95-C1B9672CE3DD.jpg (1024x576, 96K)

literally how

Attached: 20190324011019_1.jpg (1920x1080, 137K)

Yes he did

Stabbing her did the trick. Now for the one in sunken valley

Am i retarded? This is in the memory the old lady gave me.

Attached: 20190323101105_1.jpg (2560x1440, 267K)

>that wasn't an outfit Ashi was wearing, it was literally ash covering her body

walk through the door

>What guy?
The on you find in Ashina castle in a pagoda that's near the broken bridge. tart from the Old Grave idol and head down he's runs a shop but will move on when you buy all his stuff.

You can do it before killing the ape

Take the note to Emma and she will tell you where to go. You need to go to the Tengu at the other side of the Horse boi battlefield in the fortress. Kill some midgets for him and then Isshin will be back in his room.

get on the floor

>buy all his stuff
Dammnit FROM

I wanna fuck my shota master

I gave the ogre the white spinner and he asks for me to make him vanish, assuming he meant kill him. Is there anything else to that side quest or is that it?

What did the lure option do?

You got to that side by going through the rooftops right? Look around there. You missed something.

After spending like a day trying to kill Seven Ashina Spears, I finally fucking did it. Then found Butterfly bitch and killed her on the first attempt.

health on deathblow is fucking broken and i highly recommend all fellow shitters just grind for it
also make the super armor on the axe more useful when you have a way to get the hits back for free

ok this game broke my controller's RB. Bye sekirobros.

this game's too complicated

>you will never be a shinobi and have a cute shota master who relies on you
May as well kill myself

why did you have to remind me of the abomination of an ending
ashi a shit and will always be a shit

>tfw he will never give you a footjob

yeah I only beat the seven spears guy like 3 bosses later

So what's the deal with this place. No one is attacking me. The battle music is playing and I am standing in front of them and they just sorta ignore me.
Don't tell me I fucked up by killing the one random guy near the statue.

Attached: unknown.png (1920x1080, 2.9M)

I had to legit take a break after retrying him 20+ times. Fuck spear bosses.

Thanks, I found him

I'm confused about which is the "correct" route to take.

>game is 100% linear until you reach the chained ogre
>going to the Hirata estate is significantly harder, suggesting you're supposed to wait
>however, you find a weapon there that is hinted towards making the ogre fight much easier
>can now go either up the tower of Ashina Castle or some forest nearby

>still zero (ZERO) pictures of the cute shota
I guess all the fujos and other weirdos are too busy with DMC5 still

Attached: 1553282315170.jpg (1920x1080, 314K)

exploration :^)
behind snake eye miniboss fog, grapplehook on the corner and look for opening in the middle of 2 crouch spots

how do i get to the ape? i remember guards talking about one but couldnt find them again. just made the fog disappear in the woods.

Hirata Estate is a short section and is cakewalk.

I finished the game but I'm still missing a prosthetic and i can't do the final upgrades because of it. Any clue where I can find the missing piece?

Attached: halp.png (548x359, 322K)

Wherever you go it's gonna be rough.
Get the fire weapon and beat Ogre with it.

h-how?
I only see 2 path, the one leading to the ape and the cave leading to White Serpents's whole body and head

How many dragon blood droplets are in the game?

>Guardian Ape phase 2
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

>get 1shot killed by that purple shinobi that kicks you
>keep trying
>eventually just run past him, steal the mist ravens feathers, dodge his attacks and jump off the cliff into the water
>tfw i took the prize without killing the shinobi

Attached: w.png (669x627, 16K)

This game is so refreshing after getting sick of Dark Souls combat.

>Destroy Genichiro without items or revives
Feels good, my only complaint is the garbage targeting so far.

Attached: choicesteve.png (666x666, 959K)

>Tengu
The one that tells you to kill Lone Longswordman? THAT's Isshin?

If you stole the item the serpent was guarding you're set to do the final blow.

She must've been a real smokeshow in her prime

Attached: 20190323081501_1.jpg (2560x1440, 327K)

tips on corrupted monk

>I finished the game
What's your time? I'm trying to gauge how much I should pace myself.

Go to the Temple and fly the kite

Has anyone found a good place to farm scrap iron?

Ok, I've just got the Shelter Stone. And now I can't get back to the castle. What do I do?

Well duh he's the only one that runs around calling you Sekiro all the time

Not sure what happened but I was here complaining earlier about the game being hard after I beat lady butterfly. Something clicked in the last hour and I feel like I “get the combat” now. I’m still early in the game but I’m doing a lot better now that took a short break from the gAme

F

protip: that's an illusory wall

I did that too, he's too bullshit.

Just parry and slash when theres an opening. I managed to deathblow on half health.

Should I consider restarting my game if pretty much every NPC has dragon rot?

Attached: 1551620461358.jpg (466x589, 105K)

Will there be a way to make headless easier or is that just how the fight is?

19:54 but it's not like the Souls games you don't have to finish the game after the final fight. You can start a NG+ whenever you want.

what is?

You'e me from 5 hours ago. I just returned and killed him on my first try. He's surprisingly simple.
>attack
>deflect his blows
>attack
>dodge the kick
>repeat
Alternatively, some user suggested jumping down the well. The shinobi will follow you and de-aggro after a while so you can backstab him.

Don't think i unlocked the temple yet, aside from demon bell... How do you get there?

You can cure it

Seems like a bug? Pretty sure they're all meant to attack you.

Teleport to the dungeon entrance and make your way to the top floor. Don't worry it's easier as there are walkways made to speed up the process.

From the Abandoned Dungeon

The wall between 2 samurai armors, the one with the wall scroll
Hug it.

No, you get a key at the top of the castle for it later when Kuro and Emma are up there with you

Hug this wall

Attached: D86B12AE-289A-452E-A61B-9C4A98A61B07.jpg (1125x2436, 209K)

How's NG+ like? Do skills and upgrades carry over? Are the enemies tougher?

Thank God

Attached: 1551110628137.jpg (480x461, 30K)

you guys are aware there are hidden walls right?

So uhhhhhhhhhh worth full price?

Attached: 1553310968728.jpg (500x350, 190K)

Any tips on beating genichiro at the top of Ashina castle?

Yes it enables a harder difficulty, and says slight reward gain

>tfw found Prayer Beads off these
I pray anons aren't as retarded as i thought.

Fuck that.

It'll come back if you keep dying though, and I think the items you need to do it are limited

I feel like I've accidentally stumbled across the final boss way too early, can anyone let me know if I should go explore elsewhere first? I took the rooftop route past all the shuriken ninjas, beat the dojo and am now fighting Genichiro on the top of the roof. He transformed after beating him.

what's the easiest strat for that fat fucking bull

I don't know I'm still in NG trying to finish the side stuff I missed like carps and such. Also my time is shorter than my overall time spent because I restarted the game 5 hours in after I was misinformed about the dragon rot. I breezed the opening when I restarted thus I thing the game should be at least 25+ with no restarts. Also fuck people that spread bullshit about the rot

>Genichiro
>final boss
heh

firecrackers

Firecrackers.
Also I spent most of the fight sprinting around the arena since I remembered I don't have stamina any more.

You can disable the hardmode at any point, it's actually very useful when farming for shit

m8 that's like the half point(more like 60% point) of the game.

Free run around him except when he rushes directly at you. If he does deflect his charge for a free punish. All of his head-tilted attacks can be side dodged or just run around.

>That underground dungeon full of bugs and cracy undying prisioners

Ah I see Memezacki also loves Blade of the Immortal

Progress report.

Attached: sekino.png (947x707, 115K)

As you kill the Centipede and unlock the Gun fort, Is there a boss`or something I'm missing in the dark area under the planks where you have to crouch?

Well he sort of is if he didn't pussy out and call Grandpa.

I'd say it's exactly 1/3 of the game, there's still a boatload of other areas if you bumrush the Ashina castle
If you do your exploration though, it is 1/2 the game

Man has great taste. A shame he had to reference the most boring act by far.

There's a door behind the statue you fought the spider guy, the room you go under the floor.

Confetti

There's an area with a bunch of items and 1 prayer bead

Get the thrust counter, makes it much easier

How the fuck am I supposed to stealth deathblow Snake Eyes in Sunken Valley?

>purchase a potential upgrade
>can’t even see the upgrade

No. Get raped.

Wait...From made Sekiro? How good is the game? Is it just samurai Dark Souls? I might pick it up. Details, people!

What the fucking shit I killed the snake but its still guarding that cave behind the merchant

Emma is mai waifu she will spend eternity with me watching me carve Buddhas

>grapplehook in
>she aggros, you run to the lower left corner of the area until she follows you there
>SPRINT to the grapple point earlier, and some more until aggro is lost
>go in again this time in sneak
ez

It dragged on a bit too long, but the underground experimentation arc was very cool for all the fucked up shit it contained

Actually a shame that place doesn't contain some sort of boss or miniboss. Or maybe it has and I just missed it?

Where do you get the cannon prosthetic?

how the fuck? his posture barely goes up when I hit or deflect

Red dudes later on in the game are bosses disguised as mobs. Taking on just one of them is a pain in the ass much less three.

Attached: 1539175346779.png (540x438, 289K)

It's good but souls babies like you user are too casual for it.

>buy phantom Kunai
Where? Is there a merchant I'm missing aside from the offering dudes and the imformation merchant at not-firelink?

Killed? You mean stabbed it in the eye? lol
Anyway I think that might be a different snek, since it has both eyes.
There's a dead end behind it and a key item.

read nigger

Anyone know what enemies might drop Fat Wax and Magnetite?

I don’t think that’s even possible even once you come at the approach from the back. Her ass is against the wall.

There's no canon prosthetic, unless you mean the flame vent. You get it in Hirata Estate in the memories. It's just randomly lying in a fire with some bandits around it.

It’s not like dark souls. It’s harder if you have shitty reaction time like me.

Enjoy fighting one of the seven spears AND one of the greater Samurai acting as a mob at the same time

It's the Dark Souls of Dark Souls

There are so many things going on in this image
>Samurai Jack Meme
>Elon Musk, who apparently took time out of his mars vacation planning to play Sekiro
>From not already having a butt catching technique as a hidden esoteric scroll

Where did you get the spear prosthetic?

Do I need to cure Dragonrot to make NPC quests progress?

get in line faggot

>tfw the Hirata estate pagoda guardian becomes a normal mob at the end of the game.
HAHAHAHAAHAAHAH KILL ME

I literally stabbed a snake in the head and ripped out its heart in this same zone that has the guard snake why the fuck are there two snakes how do I get past this one then what was the point of killing the first one what do I do with this gay ass heart Im carrying around then REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

>mfw it's actually good

Attached: 555.jpg (432x324, 28K)

whoops
Just beat him, use Terror protection and divine confetti and keep attacking.

Attached: sekiro_2019_03_23_18_27_53_485.jpg (1920x1080, 966K)

Thanks it worked. Got her down to 5% hp. Should be easy now.

Spear is in the locked storehouse in Reservoir. But I forgot where I go the key, sorry.

keep pressure up
hit hit parry hit hit parry his flurry etc

I suspect the posture bar has a buffer before it goes down, otherwise i wouldn't be able to deathblow 3/4 health bosses just by perfect parry+constant pressure

Remember when an indie game did death rot better where every you time you die you rot further and further only to be revealed throughout and it doesn't do anything and it's just there to psych you out

They're the same snake dumbass. You think it would die from just poking it's eye?

lapis lazuli

Fuck off. I’m done. I can’t even beat him and I’m 12 vit and 3 attack power.

Beat red eye ogre pretty ez but cant beat that drunk guy for the life of me

Oh, so there's a proper fight? Is it behind the suspended bridge? I saw the snek below and remembered the trailer so I decided to take the side route.
Had to sneak by it in the water, but didn't see an opportunity to kill it.

nvm did it thanks

Hellblade?

How do you even hurt him? He just swats my hand away when I swing at him no matter how many times I parry. Do I really need to be constantly using that stupid confetti bullshit?

>tfw a noble turns you into a grandpa and you think escaping into the water from the pursuing mob is a good idea
Who fucking designed this shit.

I keep getting this effect too, I will be absolutely STUCK on a section, do something else for a while, or go to sleep, and when I come back it just clicks and I wreck shit until the next sudden mental road block. Like my subconscious was slowly piecing together how to actually git gud.

>seven spears AND one of the greater Samurai
oh god no
can you at least kite them and kill them one by one?

NEVERMIND I FIGURED IT OUT

ENOUGH WITH THE ESOTERIC PUZZLES FROMSOFT JUST LET ME KILL SHIT AAAAAAA

Yeah

Does perfect parrying him still gives you terror?

Just deflect. He's pretty aggressive for a big guy, but his swings are relatively slow and predictable. He doesn't run away to heal or anything, just deflect, deflect and then deflect some more. Attack when he's drinking.

Are there any anime that are presented similarly to Sekiro? Like similar era, serious, deliberate dialogue, etc.? Have seen Samurai X.

Attached: 1537640973813.jpg (955x669, 227K)

Nope they stand side by side away from any wall you could use to jump any of them.

Elon musk is a neet now. He doesn't own Tesla after the sex allegations.

got my absolute shit pushed in by snake eyes and noped out of there, what the fuck do I do against that guy? It's bad enough without having fucking mobs shoot at me during the fight. Jesus Christ from

Attached: 1436907848957.jpg (362x372, 15K)

Fuckoff retard Im obviously not talking about that one you dont fucking take that ones heart you goddamn illiterate

What did you do?
I burteforced my way with the feather.

>Get Temple kung fu arts for sweet Monk combat
>all the actual fun encounters the enemies non-stop block/parry
Is the whole purpose of the skill trees for skills to kill trash mobs with? Very few mini bosses and bosses actually allow you to hit them more than 1-2 swings at a time. All the combat arts are pretty useless

>that guy
It's a girl

if that is near the looter dude, follow the wall to the right and jump over the gate

Didn't really pay attention. Farming for more confettis now so I can try my chances at the Headless in Misty Forest.

Thanks, I'm glad. It felt like I was on a minor side route and suddenly shit got serious so I was just making sure.

You're supposed to use Puppeteering ninjutsu on a nearby monkey to distract the snake while you run in and grab the key item

So are you

The temple arts are great for breaking posture on the rank and file mobs it's quick as hell too.

>guy
Gal.
You just have to trade blows and deflect. Thankfully their moveset is super limited and predictable, but they seem to have a fuckton of posture, especially for a gunner.
I don't know if there's a hard counter to them. Supposedly the snipers are the descendants of the Okami women, and Sabimaru should be effective against them, but it just doesn't work on them in my experience.

I never used confetti. Just keep on him. I guess it helped that the kept doing thrusts that I mikuru countered.

There's multiple?! I only found one in the memory.

just beat giraffe and what the fuck were from thinking? That boss arena was claustrophobic as fuck but holy shit it was pretty intense

Attached: 1442983677220.jpg (628x599, 36K)

Oh, I haven't unlocked that yet. I thought it had something to do with the monkey.

Where to get the fresh fruit this old bitch is talking about? I got the kite flying. Also did the kite spawn those black phantom enemies?

The other on is at the last location in the game

np

Idk for animes, but manga has Lone Sword(or Wolf?) and Vagabond. The latter is super good

I'm so sorry

Attached: 814380_20190323111707_1.jpg (1920x1080, 800K)

>I got the kite flying.
With the mind controlled enemy?

CLANG CLANG CLANG

Cure it you spaz

Welp, time to fight Great Shinobi - Owl. This'll be fun.

yes

How do you get temple arts? Ive already cleared senpou temple

Died a few times due to panic too but eventually I realized he just does the flurry of attack followed by a grab you can jump and kick for a lot of posture damage

On that note how do I open the door in his room?

nexusmods.com/sekiro/mods/6?tab=posts

we need to get this working for pirated

Then go on the big ass huge tree and use the grappling hook on the kite.
And proceed to jump down.

Do the genichiro bossfight

Main story gated.

Blade of the Immortal

Features a resourceful immortal samurai as the MC and the Abandoned Dungeon in Sekiro is taken beat by beat from that story

I think the fruit she talks about is the heart of the great snake you find two one dried in a shrine and you get one fresh from killing the snake in the place the old woman is talking about. The heart description mentions how it looks like a friut too.

well there arent any mods yet so who cares

Attached: 1414184122206.gif (321x310, 1.2M)

Oh yeah were do I find that guy? I found ways in Ashina Castle for the Senpou Temple and the Sunken Valley but have't found Genichiro yet

Some combat arts hit through blocks, like the ashina cross slash

ninja scroll, Berserk, Onimusha

It's after the cave before the main hall with the small crawling enemies that cast fire.

Sword of the stranger

Not to mention that every immortal in the game has a bug living inside of them.

Headless and that boss in the dungeon are literally impossible. Terror is too op. What do?

Attached: rc_ep021_03.jpg (400x300, 51K)

anyone playing the game should care
first retexture is already up

Literally the top of Ashina Castle
Prepare for pic related going in the rooftops

Jumping over that gate is what leads to that thick wall of bamboo i cant get through.

He is at the top of the castle go up the castle via the rooftops. Watch out for the ninjas.

just wait till you fight a headless UNDERWATER

Go main hall idol and backtrack, you missed an area
The Ashina overhead chop is nice but its risky to use against most bosses

>tfw getting oneshotted by Owl

Attached: 1463768499750.png (873x720, 324K)

HELP
I killed the great serpent in the mountain lake area after, but I fell down from the platform you land on after you kill it. How do I get up there again?

Parry effectively you can a pin of him before terror sets in. Use pacifying agent

well id like to use a different model for sekiro but there arent any yet
also whats the problem with it not working?
some error?

How the heck? What is this, MH Tri?
Although it might as well be underwater, since they spread their farts that disable dodging.

>twitter screencap referencing to reddit
I hat what this place has become

Anyone beside me that killed the Hatred Demon aka the Sculptor that saved you

homeward bone user

lol just lol lmao

Found those cunts already, but only managed to hit the Sunken Valley following rooftops

Maybe I'm missing some entrance

unironically easier than on land because of how fast you are and how their grab leaves them wide open

Attached: 1528208615691.jpg (640x616, 47K)

What's with centipedes in your blood for this game

>mfw Owl says "That's my boy"

Attached: hqdefault.jpg (480x360, 14K)

centipedes are immortal

Okay I got to genichiro at ashina castle but I feel like I missed an area? Where is senpou temple?

>spend hours trying to farm for two confettis
>die to headless just as he has sliver of posture left
good meme
Also for that user, deflecting doesn't build up terror.

Attached: sekiro_2019_03_23_18_55_02_851.jpg (1920x1080, 915K)

THE DEMON BELL INCREASES ITEM DROP RATE SIGNIFICANTLY

WITH IT AND THE TWO TEMPLE ARTS WHICH BOOST ITEM DROP RATE YOU GET MATERIALS LIKE FUCKING CRAZY AND GUARANTEES 100% DROP RATES FROM A LOT OF ENEMIES

IF YOU ARE FARMING USE THE FUCKING BELL

Go to the abandoned dungeon and swim through the underground river.

Actually Sekiro Underwater combat feels really nice. I hope Capcom notices it and reintroduces underwater in the future

It might as well be MHFU, there's already Blangonga and Fatalis here

Where's the bell?

For the dungeon boss, use confetti and run circles around him until there's no more homing balls on your ass, then hit him
When he teleports try to notice him as fast as possible and run perpendicular to him to avoid the death laser
>overhead chop
I was talking about the Iaido nothin personnel slash

I haven't seen a reference to thw buttcatcher anime in a long time.

how to get temple arts senpai

What's the folklore that they based that idea on

Yes, but did you even kill Owl (Father) ? I'm not talking about that fight on top of Ashina Castle, but the one you fight in Hirata Estate

Go the cave of the first Headless (near the arena with a generl and 8 mobs). There's a path there that takes you to the Bell

how do you get underwater diving?

I think I'll just save up for the anti-apparition shield tool upgrade.

Go to Mt Kongo main hall, backtrack till you find a cave right outside the building you spawn in. Go through that crouch under a thing and go on

WHAT DO I DO HELP KID OR PROTECT HIM THERE IS A CHOICE AFTER GENICHIRO

Holy shit, no. I'm on it. Thanks for the info. Didn't even think about revisiting the past.

You guys remember how there was a locked door on the path to the bell demon? How do you open that door? Ive cleared senpou temple but I never found a way to it

There isn't.

but i didn't get the idol there if there was any

there is no choice

>Wow, I just barely won that boss. The difficulty on that one was just right
>"That wasn't even my final form"
From soft, can you fucking not?!

Attached: kapeesh.jpg (268x268, 19K)

We’re ign shit posting that this game is easier then previous Fromsoft titles?
I’m very skeptical that they have anyone on their payroll good enough and are generally laughed at for being shit at games.

>going from DMC5 to Sekiro
It’s a very different kind of difficulty. I wish Wolf had Devil Breakers.

>tfw i cant kick the stupid armored cunt off the cliff
>tfw i just cured the rot, but im gonna get it back right away thanks to this fag

Attached: 25e.png (680x677, 451K)

go trough the abondend dungeon

in mibu village you can buy gourds to keep ya sane and resistant to terror

you got the fan i think mt kogo and feather hirata castle prosthetics?

Why is the first fucking boss such a cunt

>didn't get the achievement when I killed the corrupted monk
oh boy I don't wanna fight him again

Attached: 12.png (960x540, 264K)

lmao nigga Genichiro's first form is really easy

DMCV is boring trash compared to this. Especially the levels in DMC are boring as fuck.

>He thinks gods die when you take their heart
Big oof

Anyone know of an enemy which drops scrap magnetite?

Maybe we need to think like game journos, become game journos to get good at this game?
What would ign do? Mash guard as fast as possible? Do you think that would make the game easy mode?

>you got the fan i think mt kogo and feather hirata castle prosthetics?
yep

The first one you fight isn't a boss. The real one is super saiyan.

cute girl (boy)

I've got 3 resurrection charges now, is that the max?

Ah I found the abandoned dungeon my sense of direction is so bad.

The True Monk is a bit different from the demo fight because a giant centipede comes out of the neck on the last pin

It's not even a god, just a big snek
>Wolf doesn't even bother using the Mortal Blade on it

Ring the bell and then fuck up pretty much anything in the temple. Those darth maul dudes seem to reliably drop it.

Run past the initial group of fuckbois only killing the two archers, run into kino pool, take immediate left, run behind house thing til they decide aggro, walk over to samurai jack, slowly approach the fat fucks entourage, shuriken the archer on the right, kill the two skinny bois that run at you, once you do all that, slowly walk up and make only drunk man aggro, make him walk all the way to the pool, congrats ur now 2v1 with fat man, have fun.

Skills, upgrades and items carry over, enemies deal insane damage and chip if you don't parry correctly.

Oh and if anyone is curious the ghille suit guys outside of the main hall drop scrap iron 100% of the time with the right setup and the monk in the hallway going downstairs drops lumps of wax half of the time. I just need magnetite.

It literally says it's the god of the land of Ashina

Well, it's called phantom for a reason. Are you a fucking medium?

The mortal blade is only for killing things that are unliving. not just for big bads. It's for killing things that have the dragon blood and as a result are cursed with unlife. Also it literally IS a god. Have you not been reading anything or drinking with people?

How the fuck are supposed to counter his homing thrust after he does the overhead attack? You certainly can't dodge out of it.

They drop scrap iron. I'm looking for magnetite. I want to upgrade all my prosthetics as much as I can right now and I'm only missing that.

mikiro counter nigga

What bullshit?

Are there optional bosses?

? You just dodge parry it.

Yeah they drop magnetite too. That's where I got all of mine.

>there's a door on the top floor of Ashina Castle where Kuro is that teleports you to the Dilapidated Temple
what the FUCK?

for what purpose?

I like both

I just got the axe and the flamethrower from the memory. Should I continue with the memory or kill the chained ogre?

Attached: ae1.jpg (811x451, 76K)

how can it be a god if it's not even immortal

Seriously? Which ones. I've been farming the three around the main hall and I've never gotten a single drop of it.

Nevermind found it, holy fuck I love exploring in sekiro I cant believe I missed this much shit my first time through the area

Emma now permanently resides in the castle

Fast travel for Emma

Attached: 1530300563302.jpg (238x183, 7K)

So where is Black Badger at the mountin? Can't find him there.

>get hit
>not posture broken but it "stuns you"
>enemy follows-up with an unblockable
>try to mikiri it
>sekiro does the safety roll instead
>get hit again
This happens way too fucking often.
The difficulty is high enough without the enormous hitstun.

I prefer DMC because the VAs make trannies seethe

Yes, there's the Demon of Hatred
Great Colored Carp (don't think anyone found it yet)
And some bosses are optional depending on what ending you are gunning to
A lot of minibosses are also optional

When he leaps swing at him once and move to the side this will put you in a place he can't lunge at you. That one swing when he leaps is a a great way to time it the dodge of course you have to be face to face with him for this to work.

Is there enough sake to go around for all the lore or is it limited?

Yo fuck this Genichiro Way of the faggot fight

Fuck monkeys, and fuck ghosts

Attached: 1552146651249.jpg (843x843, 242K)

People that are farther into the game is it true that there are bigger snakes than the Great Serpent ?

I just did this for 30+ minutes, how fun

Attached: REEEEEEEEEEE.webm (1920x1080, 2.28M)

Has how to get the different endings been figured out yet?

Kill yourself and your spoilers

Attached: sunken valley.jpg (1280x800, 118K)

It's more or less known how to get the Shura Ending and the Immortal Severance Ending, dunno about the other two

He's overlooking the kite from a ledge above it just outside the first idol in the temple on the path that leads to the bridge. If you fixed the kite he's next to the idol across the valley from the old woman where you use the kite to leap across

Dude, you're supposed to parry it. Parrying the super heavy delayed blow opens it up for coutner attacks for a good while.

Attached: 1539705173714.png (308x224, 11K)

>Snake Eyes Shirafuju

Attached: 1540828783933.gif (250x188, 2.4M)

Hm, I've been pickup up a lot of alcohol items lately. I gave out a couple of them to Isshin and Emma. I hope I didn't fuck up.

Fuck.

This game feels like a fucking dedicated boss rush. Common enemies are so easy and irrelevant I can barely feel them.
Fine balance between exploration, common combat and boss fights that soulsborne used to have has been thrown completely down the shitter.

>Oh, so there's a proper fight?
Hahaha

The firepipe from hirata castle?

can someone drop a summon sign at genichiro

I thought that was only for the spearmen. That said I fucking hate that it's taking up a button that already does something else. Even when staying still it sometimes just doesn't do the move.

Now that from is very aware they can try new things and still be successful, what's next for them?

Attached: Nx8bBCx.png (755x161, 96K)

Proof that dodging big swings that aren't red kanji instead of deflecting makes things longer and harder. Don't be scared get the posture damage

Why are we suddenly prentending that mobs in Soulsborne were any dangerous outside group situations?

Mikiri is for any thrusting unblockable. (you can parry those too)
Jumping is for swiping unblockables.
Dodging is for grabs.

Made me feel like I was a demon in a devil may cry game.

Based, but also fuck snakes

Armored Core 7

Yeah got that one too. The only item I lack is the one I posted here it locks me out of the final upgrade tree.

Dark souls 5,6,7, maybe more, perhaps with new ebin gimmicks nobody gives a fuck about. What else might they do?

did something similar, baited this attack, run to his face, landed 2-3 hits, escape, rinse and repeat! on the rematch with his summoned gf i fucked him with the ghostumbrella and it staggered him good

Heh you and me both nigger.

Holy shit. I'm happy for them.

im perfect blocking that faggot in the well and it's not doing squat
what am I missing bros im about to smash my goddamn controller

>I thought that was only for the spearmen
The description says "thrust attacks", not "spear attacks"
Though there are some nonsensical attacks like the ninja straight kick or Genichiro's 2nd phase lunge that can be parried with it

No mod yet?

As far as I remember you weren't able to trash all of them with couple of mindless r1 hits.
Only interesting common enemies I saw so far are samurai in blue clothing in Ashina castle.

Fucking Armored Core, come on already

There is a ledge above the sculpture in the poison bog or whatever the fuck it's called, the place you kill the gun dudes and the snake eyes lady. How do you get up there? not the ledge/bhudda statue that you get to by going into the crawlspace, but the ledge right above the bonfire? It looks like it might be a destroyable wall?

>genchiro

Pic related as I do the run of shame back to the boss

Attached: 1551419061168m.jpg (1024x665, 58K)

Why are mini bosses harder than bosses?

Attached: sekiro 2019-03-23 09-01-13-31.jpg (1920x1080, 442K)

So you haven't met the ministers army yet, eh?

hit him you dingus. The less life he has the slower his posture regens and then you can kill him.

How much game is still left at this point? Just got the achievement for traveling to each area

Attached: 20190323172356_1.jpg (2560x1440, 855K)

Also am i supposed to fight the undead form here as well? I saw a video of some dude fighting this in another place

Attached: sekiro 2019-03-23 09-02-12-84.jpg (1920x1080, 337K)

>get to top of mountain
>talk to old wise man
>get talent book + holy book

Where do I go now? I have other paths available after the bull, but is this the end of this section?

Just you wait till Ashina starts burning. Miyazaki knew there will be people like you.

You literally can mindless R1 spam all of soulsborne and very few mobs will be left standing other than a few slect ones like the Giant Sharks in the BB DLC

Of and you can also literally circlestrafe everything and backstab spam

I know you can kill it there without Fushigiri or anything. At least I did.

I think that's another boss but it's supposed to have 2 phases at least it did for me

They should have had another memory in the past like Hirada estates

gee didn't think of that you fucking mong
I mean is there some better strat than firecracker + PB because I've gotten him down to a sliver of health once and it took way longer than I feel it should

I really liked Lady Butterfly fight, are there more fights as kino as her?

At least it still sucks and no helper ape like the other guy had

Attached: sekiro 2019-03-23 09-10-59-71.jpg (1920x1080, 325K)

You fight it here, but as the ape is undead, he eventually returns in a gank fight with another monkey. You will want Divine Confetti for the second fight

dodging is for not being used because it's shit, just jump anything that the game tells you to dodge

Has anyone done a map yet?

Attached: DkS3-WorldMap.png (1920x1080, 2.7M)

Sprint, sprint, sprint, and stay behind it or to its side. I personally used the Mist Raven for this fight because it lets you warp right behind bull while safely evading its charge in case you mess up.

Post a video of you killing the fats cudgel guys by spamming R1.

They'll probably do that for a DLC pack

Imagine fighting Genichiro's mentor, Tomoe. Gonna be the tits

the reason I did it one hit at a time was because he roared whenever I was close and there's nothing you can do about the roar

I can't even beat some of the samurai generals.
I just haven't got the patience to play like it wants me to.

Where do i go after genichiro bros? Temple? Maybe valley?

fuck that cunt, you can't even stealth her even if you come from behind

I got my magnetite from the three sitting outside the main hall. I literally just run out the door, backstab one, run back in and reset at the bonfire.

Game opens up by that point, there are 3 routes you can take

There's one though

Attached: sekiro.jpg (1532x1324, 1.45M)

>all bosses (for me so far) have bonfires right before them and are 1v1 battles
>minibosses have long ass runs to them and have shit mooks helping them 99% of the time in a battle system very clearly not fitted to fighting multiple enemies

>Imagine fighting Genichiro's mentor, Tomoe.
Yeah I can already see it being easy as fuck seeing how lighting reversal is so easy to pull of.

So I have a couple questions that I'm hoping someone can answer before the thread dies.

1. What's the easiest way to get XP? Corrupted monk just completely killed my bar and at this point I need 6000 points just to get one level.

2. Where are all the parts of the mask?

3. How do I complete the second step for the Not Patches merchant? He wants me to find some guy for him.

There is also the "Purification" ENDING where you sacrifice yourself to end the immortality chain and the child survives.

I think it scales with game progression.

>Divine Confetti
Really? I saw a streamer beat the ape duo without using that shit

yeah shit nvm. I thought i permakilled it because i had the mortal sword but it is still in that other spot now

Attached: sekiro 2019-03-23 09-29-25-95.jpg (1920x1080, 459K)

based

FromSoft dials up difficulty in the DLC I have no doubt fighting Tomoe in the future will be a cancerous horrifying battle even with lightning reversal

i got my shit kick in jumped off the cliff to escape, looked back and saw a purple blur flicker off the cliff after me then vanish
went back up and he was gone

out skilled

Fucking tengu/ninja fucks flying on kites

>Where are all the parts of the mask?
Left and Right are in the possession of the two carp vendors the middle part is sold by on of the departed mob guys.

>want a souls game set in japan because nioh is garbage
>From makes a game with souls combat but without souls customization
This isn't fair de gozaru

Thanks, he, indeed, was inside the cavern.

you maybe missed a boss or a merchant? maybe it´s the item i found somewhere between some cliffs next to the shire of the snake

Attached: Sekiro™_ Shadows Die Twice_20190323172421.png (2133x1647, 2.77M)

This game does not have Souls combat, and treating it that way is why so much of Yea Forums sucks dick at it.

He has two attack chains and one ends in a free slap from the dodge counter. Just get used to parrying his whole chain because he becomes a regular mob. Don't make a habit of "cheesing" fights since most minibosses/bosses end up giving you good practice for when you fight similar enemies.

UAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

You can use divine confetti for the second ape there?

>TWO carp vendors
What the fuck the only one I found was in the Hirata Estate and I have literally zero carp scales left and no idea where to get more.

>with souls combat
but that's wrong

That won't work unless you play a different character. It has to be Wolf's memories.
You get the flame vent from Hirada estate don't know?

Attached: 814380_20190323113241_1.png (1920x1080, 3.14M)

So is it good or not?

Now the question is where is he after you talk to him because he sure as hell dosen't return to the place you met him.

The first guy is in the hall of illusions because you spirited him away, dummy.
The second guy is still there for me as well.

It definitely doesn't because the enemies that give me scrap iron haven't changed and I've pretty much beaten the game at this point.

No. Watch more anime.

Attached: 0ccd7a567618e1eb13119bcec992ffb51403461687_full.png (539x438, 255K)

>he becomes a regular mob

Attached: sweat.gif (200x209, 3.15M)

>You get the flame vent from Hirada estate don't know?
Isn't this the item guarded by the one armed fell on the pagoda?

>Give blackie to doctor
>Give him carp eyes
>He disappears???

Where's my guy off to? Geez.
I wish I knew where the tengu guy was as well, he fucked off from snake temple and I can't find him.

It certainly does scale with something because I've only gotten scrap iron from them and I've seen a video of someone getting adamantite from them as well.

how do you beat ape phase 2?

if you stop to parry sword flailing he just screams and you die instantly

if you run away and play cautiously you do no damage

Souls-like combat*
There, happy now?

>Get to the castle
>Meet the Kite people

My god

anyone else playing mouse and keyboard? it plays surprisingly well except for one major flaw. the turn right key is fucked and stops your character's movement for a moment before registering. please tell me there's a .ini somewhere that lets me fuck with this.

>The first guy is in the hall of illusions
Thanks, I didn't even think about going back there. I knew the scroll for the ability mentions where he goes but I forgot what it said and you can't find it in the item menu.

Then fuck if I know my man. Maybe RNG gods blessed me and decided you don't deserve magnetite.

I'm never happy when I have to talk to retards on Yea Forums.

Yo where the fuck do I get the shards to upgrade my not estus

The term is Soulsbornetwice combat.

>that one tengu who suicide drops from the sky

no because you're still wrong

>the centipede mini boss
i mean it wasn't hard but holy FUCK it made me uncomfortable

Attached: 1529295871532.jpg (445x373, 23K)

>didnt give any to the fucking sculptor enjoy your bad ending

The best way is to wait until he does the combo where he puts his sword way up high and then deflect it. It stuns him for a couple seconds and you get free hits in.
Use the red buff for extra damage.

You can enter the cell from the back with diving.

What's the lore behind the retarded short goblins and the retarded tall giants?

Just run past him and loot the building. There is an item in the fire after the second bonfire too. I am not sure which one is the axe and which one is the flame vent

you seem to get dupes of them and can share them once each with npcs.

>fight ape
>took me around 3 hours to beat and was the hardest boss for me so far
>go to ashina depths 20 minutes later
>reused Ape boss fight
>there are now 2
Very funny Miyazaki.

Attached: 1523710369185.jpg (320x320, 29K)

Jesus fuck these blue guys in the castle

I forgot to check on him when I got the previous ones. But since then I picked up a new one and visited the Sculptor, and there was no option to treat him. Unless he requires a specific ones.

I already had the pagoda item guess I'll go search in the flames. Thanks for the info.

There is a 1000 gold sake that I gave to the sculptor. Its just a lore dump I think

I have, but he's not there.

second ape is a joke
dies very quick

How is compared to Bloodborne fellow Bloodbornechads?

Can I just YOLO it? Or do I have to play skillfully?

Attached: D0gORf2VAAAtKgL.jpg large.jpg (768x1024, 55K)

For the fight with the extra ape, just run around the room hitting the brown ape as it's close. He really doesn't have much health. Also Firecracker

Wait, what? You can dive?
