A dancer healer that is a melee DPS and plays similar to MoP fistweaver was all that was needed, but I honestly think that the dev team is too incompetent to make a unique 4th healer or have one be HoT based because it doesn't work in FFXIV's encounter design. AST was pretty much just a fusion of WHM/SCH because the only unique thing they could think of was cards.

Dancer being a ranged DPS is welcome, but I see it being way too similar to BRD. Dancing for buffs seems silly when you could have made it dancing for buffs AND using the movement of your dance moves to strike enemies with your limbs is more or less how I envision the class. It's currently just tossing ranged weapons and doing a pointless little jig while waiting for them to come back.

Blu fever already said he was going to be in his most recent leak so there's no reason to doubt it anymore.

They're not. Male viera are far rarer. For Seekers of the Sun, every tribe has a Nunh and usually at least ten Tias, at an apparent ratio of 50 women. For Keepers of the Moon numbers are less clear but it still seems to be an acceptable number, at least 5% of Miqo'te seem to be male.
Viera, however, are so vanishing that it's unheard of and they're entirely unseen. Maybe 0.1% of Viera are male.

If you know there's damage going out at the start it's just less healing to do after the pull. Most savage fights you want to spread an adlo off the main tank. It's a massive 50k shield if you crit.
