I'm actually not sure why google wants machine learning and AI so badly. I think they believe that is the infrastructure to the future.

Kind of like how Microsoft is in every home and every business around the world, Google wants to be the internet itself in every room and business around the world.

You can use other controllers. You don't have to use the Google one.

Google, as evil as they are, do have the goal of service though. They want to make things convenient and easy, not just for shopping. They aren't solely trying to steal our info to just make money. They are taking our info and using AI to actually make things quicker and more efficient overall.

Yes that will lead to targeting us with ads and products more, but the end goal is to sell us shit we actually want, and not just bait us into stuff we don't need.
