>use a melee weapon to kill monsters instead of guns, lmao
>all the sudden the game turns into aliens when it already established itself as a Van Helsing esc theme
>no shields to use with your melee weapons
>no multiplayer match making / party invites, instead there’s this vague cryptic bell system for multiplayer that sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t

The exploration is way better. Combat is a lot more annoying. Story is too in-your-face but not good enough to justify it. I'd say they're about equal.

Daily reminder it would get 93+ on metacritic if it was a ps4 exclusive. Prove me wrong.

Not him but it has a ton of obvious carry-overs that you'd have to be blind not to notice.

It's better than any fromsoft game. Mainly because you actually have to git gud and can't just cheese your way through with level ups and OP items, Iframe rolls or even multiplayer.

Because everyone else does. It's how the majority of people decide whether the game is good or not.

if it were PS exclusive it would have more of a budget so yeah probably.
