What's the difference between snatch and wire snatch?

Doesn't seem like anything, as far as I could tell. I also found it easier than DMD to be honest, enemies have less than half the HP and you don't have to worry about style since it's all a no-damage run. The one exception would be V, his HaH missions are much more difficult since summons die in one hit.

also on higher difficulties, Dante only has to fight scissors in one spot (right before King Cerberus). You fight three of them at once + a Fury, this room is almost a mandatory SDT so it doesn't matter.

Some good tips:

Depends on the character. HaH is much more difficult for V, slightly more difficult for Nero, and honestly easier for Dante (because his missions are the hardest to S rank without no-damage).

Heaven and Hell is easier than Human.
Both modes are easy to get S rank. Take no damage and just jump on enemies heads until you get an A rank, air taunt, and then do a stylish killing blow will net you S ranks and S rank for the mission.

SoS mission 11 is the first full length mission where I've straight up died. Boss handed my ass to me. God damn I suck shit with Dante.

It's a bit absurd how much punishment Proto-Angelo's can take on DMD. I've dropped a meteor on them, hit them with a half full Release and slapped their shit with Sin DT with Judgement as the ender and they're still ready to get back up and be annoying.

Did they patch orb grinding in mission 13 as Dante? Seems like I make less orbs.

Don't know about Dante but for Nero is the easiest shit, just use the breakage move of ragtime as soon as it spawns and then use the breakage move of the buster arm and it dies right there.

Royal Guard when he starts the counter and Trickster if you need to avoid his range attacks and to close the distance. Balrog's blow mode does me wonders on parrying his sword strikes.

How do you do this?

What is the single most taxing thing in the graphics setting? I get stutters in cutscenes whenever something new appears, like a change of scene, an attack with new effects, or a texture change. Every time such a stutter happens the audio keeps going, so eventually in a cutscene with a lot of things changing like the one after defeating Goliath the audio gets descynced HARD and it sucks.

During gameplay its actually smooth 60FPS the entire time with no drops or stutters, so what's the setting that's causing the cutscene stutters?

Find the dmc5config.ini (Steam>steamapps>common>DMC5) and change both the things that say DirectX12 to DirectX11, that should cut out most of the stuttering. Other than that I don't know, I tried cutting down all the settings but gave up, set everything back up and it barely affected how much it happens.

Probably at least 20 seconds. Wouldn't bother me so much if not for how style ranking works in this game.

With max. Dr Faust and spamming the gunslinger move in the last part of Mission 13 it's easily 500000 orbs in about 10 minutes. When you are surrounded by enemies and spam the hat trick too (B/Circle the second you catch the hat after the gunslinger move) you build up style which gives more orbs. Also when there are lots of annoying enemies staggering you just use your DT

Have you considered not getting hit? You can make it easier by catching the hat whenever it comes back, it'll drag every hatted enemy to you and knock 'em down.

If you made it out of SoS without using gold orbs or even red orbs then you have a base to work off from. Use The Void for specific enemy practice and see what you can do.

You just have to adapt and stick to it. I usually brute force my way into learning the enemy setups. DT is handy if you want to get out of sticky situations. Not sure if I can help with character specific guides. Nero for me is just handy with a constantly maxed out Blue Rose and timing Max Exceeds. Keeping the enemy in the air with jump cancels kept me alive so far. Dante will probably test me more with style switching and reaction times for Royal Guards.

Jump with Balrog to easily destroy the swords he puts around you. It's also pretty handy to deflect shit he throws at you. For his time stop, I switch to trickster to get away more easily, close the gap, switch to swordmaster to wail on him for a bit.

His doppelganger is trickier, but I just equipped sword and used stinger to get it whenever I saw an opening. Or you could pussy out and dodge until Vergil turns into a jetplane.

Reflexes can be trained or rather you can learn how the enemys are showing which attack comes next you just need to get used to the timing and you can keep your rank up with a well timed parry or style action from Dante.
But do not tunnel vision on one guy you need to keep your eyes on the other bastards trying to kill you switch targets if needed and do not panic.
The game is hard especially for guys like you and me because I too suck at timing shit but I have a good memory and everytime I see an attack pattern that could hit me do I try to react fast enough to not get fucked over and it helps.
Also use the void it is the best way to train.

How do you fight the antonera when there's more than one? There are several reasons.
Look at the Devil Bringer from 4.
Most prominent colours were the red skin with glowing blue sections.
The original DB concepts (including one of the DMC4 demos at a a convention) had the DB glow yellow, and that image is also just concept art. So Nero's main colours weren't fully established.
Also Sparda was Black and Purple (though most renders suggest Red being more prominent), so think of it following the logic of the twins somehow getting red and blue forms.
Demonic colours seems a bit random.

The tempo of the fight is decided by the enemys and you can rarely dominate early on.
DMC: you don't fight enemys you style on them you are ranked by how well you dominate the fight by being efficent and using lot's of variety to show the enemys how much they suck.
You decide the tempo of the fight not the enemys.

You could just jill Urizen in the prologue as Nero in Devil Hunter. That gets you a secret ending and automatically unlocks the next difficulty.
