What games will you play on your Stadia, Yea Forums?
What games will you play on your Stadia, Yea Forums?
How does it even work? Do you buy games like normal, then just stream them through the console? Do you rent games on some sort of subscription basis?
I will play Stadia herself
none because i have a good pc
>implying stadia pcs wont eclipse 99% of pcs in power and be vastly superior than your pc
You pay $60 for the game
Then you also pay $30 per month for access to the game
This.
None, of course. There aren't any actual games on it, it's just a cable box for one specific channel with an unusual remote.
>none because i have a good pc
you pay a subscription with which you get access to a library of games for STREAMING, on a variety of devices, like netflix. I already imagine the "tiers" of streaming
>10 bucks 720p 30fps streaming on 1 device
>20 bucks 1080p 60fps streaming on max 2 devices
>40 bucks 4k 60fps on max 4 devices
>bitrate and stream quality will vary
none
sage
its not a streaming/subscription model, you pay for individual games just like you do now
Will be there f2p games?
>streaming
idk why i said this, i mean its not a subscription model
You pay a subscription for the service but also have to buy the game
I just have on question:
WHAT were they THINKING?
I will play Skyrim® from my favorite game developer and publisher Bethesda Softworks LLC. Can't wait!
Yes. The whole service is free to use and you can buy games just like on steam or something.
They won't.
I don't remember that being said anywhere in the stream and I'm not looking it up because it sounds absolutely fucking crazy and unfair
Probably just future AAAs that my poorfag pc won't handle. I actually like the idea of Stadia for single-player games, if they can keep the input lag to an acceptable level.
Stadia?! What kind of idiot do you take me for!
Sekiro at 30fps and 300ms input lag.
FUCKING NIGGERS GO KILL UOIRSELF!
Is anyone else hoping this will work?
I don't really give a fuck about game ownership, most of the games I buy these days are digital licenses or have some form of understood future-maintenance allotment of servers anyway. It's not like we're losing anything that this gaming culture hasn't already pressed upon us.
But simply having all the games right there no matter what might be cool. Especially if you can play fucking anywhere.
It doesn't sit right in my soul but fuck it, if it works and it's good, it works and it's good.
Shut up mort, we all know you have plenty of money.
quarterpounder made a video about it as stadia was being revealed
>your Stadia
I think you're confused, that's just a website. It's not a "your" anything unless you buy one of their controllers, which you don't even need.
even if you ignore the input lag, there is no way streaming will be of better quality than good pc hardware
Basically it's a bunch of greedy psychopaths going, "hey kids wanna pay me more money and do it constantly forever? In exchange we'll give you videogames that you can already get for less money than if you used our streaming service!"
I guess time will tell whether gamers are stupid enough to fall for it.
LOL at the google shill trying to use dead memes to shame people into using their DoA garbage.
it will work there is no question about it. but it wont be for hardcore gaymers such as myself.
Thats an offensive stereotype and I don't take kindly to it Peter!
> whether gamers are stupid enough
Yes, the answer to that is always yes.
Watch out Mort, its Hitler!
Just consider the throughput difference between your internet connection and your pcie connection
Oh god not again!
gmail 2
Only one thing would get me interested in stadia.
t. seething connectionlets
ahahahaha i love le family dad so funny and epin
It doesn't matter how good your connection is, there will still be a noticeable delay. But you knew that already and just wanted to wave your dick about didn't you?
Will we be able to buy games on it or is it rent only?
Who linked you here, lad? You need to go.
buy once and its yours. much like other digital distribution platforms
I meant the games.
what
can you read
How fast is pcie?
o-oh
fuck the drawfag for making stadia so fucking hot somehow
Assassins Creed Odyssey at a silky smooth 10fps
I'm still puzzled as to who this service benefits. If you're in an area with decent connection where this service is even feasible, you probably can afford good enough hardware to run games without lag. This could only benefit poorfags and third worlders, but then they wouldn't have the bandwidth to even use this thing.
Seems like a dumb solution searching for a problem.
Fighting games and fast paced mp shooters.
You just know Google's going to save and analyse every button press and every thing you do in the game and use that knowledge to try and milk even more money out of you, even through you're already shovelling them money in the form of the subscription.
oh, so like every other console.
This. Yet another shill thread.
Sick of these Jewgle niggers shitting up the board
yeah....pcie is a lot faster?
none starter
200ms input lag? How can I lose?!
Ofc the connection matters retard. You're just mad cause you're a poorfag with slow net, whose missing out on the next big evolution in gaming. Bad luck, pal. Maybe 5g will help you
streaming feels so wrong for videogames, it's not passive entertainment, things such as Game Pass make much more sense, even Twitch makes more sense
Yeah I know right, just shut up already mort nobody gives a crap.
Look at it this way. Either this will fail horribly, or kick start a movement for the United States' internet infrastructure to be overhauled.
I- I have a glandular problem.
Show your jitter, nobody gives a fuck about bandwidth if it's past what you need for their compressed ugly video(Google said 25Mbps).
Having more bandwidth isn't going to solve your input lag nor will it make the video less ugly.
>18ms ping
>not having 2 or less
Games?
>Macucks
ayyy
>he has ping
fucking poorfags
This is now a Stadia-chan thread.
Private property is obsolete, user. Why would you want to own things when borrowing is so much easier?
Every single films which disguised as games.
>haha le 0ms ping hehe that will show him
1ms is minimum you can have, nigger. Keep coping, though 18ms cuck. Enjoy your lag.
>b-b-but 1gigabit
>1ms is minimum you can have, nigger.
Maybe in your cucked reality, cucklord. Enjoy your puny fleshbag, sucker.
Board games I guess? Turn-based RPGs? Nothing else can survive the input lag.
I have played/am playing on Stadia already (pre-alpha version) and there's plenty of FPS and action games that work just fine on it. Obviously anything competitive or rythm-based would never work, but most games work just fine.
