yeah in raids which is basically a nonfactor because master looter will be enabled anyways and with loot trading loot distribution can be done more fluidly (just grab the items and distribute them while advancing) and it also prevents mistakes, I dont see how this is negative thing other than muh no changes

They're both mostly shit outside of PvP. Ferals are great flag runners in WSG and flag sitters in AB. Ele shamans are there for burst, put down totems, off heald and purge. They're basically support with 1 shot potential on an important kill target. They're both good 1v1 in the world. Feral is the hardest class/spec to play imo.

Probably the daily/weekly format and the fact that there's no real pressure to do good (no editor to kick your ass or give you real critique to uphold the quality of their magazine for example). Listening to your audience doesn't work if you want critique, either.
Also if you submit your work to certain websites they'll ask you to tone down or change things to cater to their needs and that'd bad for creativity and quality in general.
All that added to the fact that facebook tier "relatable XD" vine humor has plagued the internet and numbed every normalfags senses, and you get people paying for middle of the road, shitty bland webcomics. And they keep going because there's demand.

I think there's still a couple nice webcomics rolling though. I was thinking about starting one myself but the further I look into it the less I wanna do it.

1) be good enough to stand out from the crowd on their own merits
2) bank on good will from something else carrying over
3) shamelessly pander to a crowd known for being easily pleased
The majority aren’t good enough for one and don’t have the clout for two, so they settle with 3 and hope the crowd doesn’t eat them alive when the inevitably turn.
