The first Rebellion one and Monolith sequel to it. First one gets thrown around for like one dollar in sales. Second one is sorta abandonware. You need to look up someone's megaupload link or torrent.

Play Aliens vs Predator 1 and 2 on PC and the arcade beat em up.
If you want Alien games play Trilogy, Infestation and Isolation.
Some of the arcade shooters are also fun, some might have had console ports, but my memory is fuzzy when it comes to arcade games in general.
Never played a single Predator game.

Btw, for those that haven't played the first game but will do so: play on the hardest difficulty without saves. It's the way it was designed to be played on first release. Your character runs fast so you can do the maps really fast if you know what you are doing. Saving was thrown in as a response to blebs complaining about why it isn't Half-Life. Speedloading takes away tension and breaks the flow of the game, which is supposed to be more akin to Hotline Miami, where you go fast on instinct and die some times before figuring out the level.

I would always try to save the marines too. Some just can't be saved and explode into chunks of meat.

Marines are even worse because sometimes you just see 3 xenos near one of them, and if you frag them all at once you get a game over.

Marine campaign was kino

You can only save 4 marines on THAT mission. These 3 blokes, you have to use the flamethrower, and the same can be done for the Marine you see right afterwards. It feels so fucking rewarding, and I imagine they escape with you.

Also in the Predator's campaign in AVP2, I would go around destroying all Predator corpses I came upon. I think you run into 4 yautja corpses?

AvP 2 would've been 10/10 if you could play as the queen.

No. I love Aliens to death, but I still hate how it's warped the setting. It's still the only other good movie in the franchise though.

You just need to have somewhat scarce ammo and game mechanics that don't let allow you to be a 360 quickscoping murder machine. Weapon sway on all 3 axis, muzzle-flash obscuring vision, REAL darkness. And of course, intelligent aliens that will fall back to recover, play dead, recover their own wounded ones, make you waste ammo and attack in groups from many directions.

One idea that would be neat is that if you have to use the motion tracker, you can't use your weapon. But yeah, if an Aliens shooter went something in terms of atmosphere like the original Quake (albeit with more intelligent monster AI), I wouldn't mind one more. But I don't want another zerg rush turkey shoot.

I really wish this was on Steam or GoG or something. My PC doesn't run the disc version right, there's always some fuckery going on with textures and lighting. I just want to go back.

I have a disc copy of AvP-2 as well and I can confirm it worked fine on Win7 - there was one air duct that had some sorta texture glitch, it's right after you break out of getting captured by the mercs as harrison, crawling through a vent near and elevator shaft there's always this one weird looking texture thing going on that cuts through the enviorment, was never sure if it was my disk that was bad or the game but everything else worked great. Now i'm wondering if I should try seeing if it would work on Win10, anyone try this?

I really need to find my old AvP2 disks, it's probably 12 years since I played it last time. A shame it's not as easy to dig out the old LAN bros from back then, I know those spoiled fucks will refuse to go through all the manual hassle.

i got it to kind of half work with this. it works, but some mission triggers don't work, like the mission for alien you end via going under a tank, through a vent then into cieling according to guides and vids. just does nothing.
its not very good

I'm not sure how I got it to work; but I downloaded the base game and expansion pack somewhere on the net; and it worked just fine on Windows 10. I still have it installed actually.

Have some more Yautja Chads I saved. This Bro in particular was a fucking pain to save.
