Its not even a miniboss you can skip him. Its just a "bigger enemy" for me.

Imagine being so shitter to die on the first "tougher enemy" you encounter, an enemy with a slow attack which is easily parriable and a telegraphed bigger attack you cant parry but easily dodge. The shitpost on this game is delicious.

Couldn't get a single goddamn controller to work properly with this on Steam. Tried everything suggested and more. Roommate got a console copy so I just refunded and I'll mooch off that.

You can literally one shot everything in this game by parrying and breaking super armor. You can even sneak up on mini-bosses and deal half its health in damage as a sneak attack.

Also protip, pretend this game is Batman and just grapple to different spots real fast and lose the NPC's. Then go back in for another sneak attack. This game seems more like a dark souls stealth game then a dark souls roll, roll, roll, roll, type of game.

the red sign means a hit cannot be blocked (hold parry)
there are two kinds of red attacks afaik, thrusting attacks (can be parried but you'll get hit if you fuck it up) and sweep attacks (cannot be parried or blocked, but if you do a double jump off the enemy it does HUGE posture damage)

everyone should play the entire combat tutorial (beat up the undying dude)

Yeah, I know that, however it feels like there are attacks without a sign that is not meant to be parried either, as when I try I still lose a ton of health.
