I realized quickly that matchmaking was more of a joke than just saying "lol 50/50". The game is a fucking shitshow, comp is meaningless, QP is a cesspool. There's no way to build a team with 5 other faggots who all want to do whatever they want, teamwork is put on the backend in a game where teamwork is required to succeed. There's no way to see how well you did in a game aside from the barebone stats the game offers and you can't see them in a match history because having a string of losses in a match history would hurt the majority-casual player in Overwatch. Gameplay and balance has been held off so they don't hurt the feelings of their playerbase. Stats are not shown in game because they would hurt the feelings of those doing "poorly" and allow people who are actually good at the game to ask for their team to stop being dead fucking weight. ESPORTS has become the life support of this game and even that is a fucking joke when the only team comp is GOATS. Blizzard wants the game to be played "however the player wants" but offers no way for that to work properly. You get lucky and win, or you don't and lose in the lower ranks or play the rigid and unflinching 3-3 meta or lose to the enemy who did 3-3 better.

1.) The overall user experience is miserable and frustrating.
2.) Everything is far too competitive. Quickplay
is practice competitive. Competitive is competitive. And in a brilliant move, Arcade ties lootbox progression to wins, turning what should be a place for laid back fun into another competitive shithole.
3.) Events and fun game modes are time gated. You play what Blizzard wants you to play, when Blizzared wants you to play it.
4.) New content comes out at a glacial pace, and is either half-assed (every game mode that isn't on comp rotation), time gated (events), or complete shit (almost every map they've released since launch). In addition to this, nearly every hero they've added has made the game worse, with only a few exceptions.
5.) No private servers, map making tools, community content, etc.
6.) The game actively encourages poor play through it's poorly conceived medal system, while not having any systems in place to actually teach/encourage players to learn how the game should be played. The shitty medal system doesn't even accomplish what it was designed for (reducing "toxicity"). I've seen more arguments over who has gold medals in this game than I've seen arguments over the scoreboard of every other shooter I've played in my life combined.

There's a good game buried somewhere beneath all this bullshit, but it's not worth digging to find it.

He's fucking boring. He has possibly the least interesting voicelines out of the entire cast, which his pretty hard to achieve considering they're all kinda awful. His exchange with Lucio during setup is embarrassing and it's a wonder how it even got in the game.
Only Blizzard could fuck up and make a character that's a talking gorilla wielding a tesla cannon so insanely dull.
