I used to play SA:MP cops and robbers. Wasn't strict RP but I would just truck and fish for hours. Pretty comfy desu.

Been to RP servers before on Gmod. It's really hard as fuck to not think that these things are cringe. It's sort of okay when you know people are playing around on the mic trying to RP as say a drug dealer but they keep in a comedic tone, but when you get fuckers who get edgy serious or use only text chat (ie. "My character shuffles through the squad and gives a serious look at the squad leader") and don't bother to get a fucking microphone in the year 2019, it really disgusts.

the funniest part is, even when i'm trying my hardest to be as obnoxious and insane as possible in HL2RP, or any serious roleplay on gmod/mmo's, i still manage to be 10x better at writing, grammar, roleplaying, than just about every other retard on there
what draws autistic children to trying to roleplay? i gave up on attempting to take the shit seriously after every server was infested with them, nobody knows how to fucking roleplay anymore and the small portion that do are either elitist, ERPing animefags or are in the same boat and too burnt out to ever touch it again
