because its made by one guy passionate about something

where's the openrct2 server

All it takes is one big wave and you're out of business

10% because of the cute visual style, cheerful visual theme, music, and game mechanics that made sense but still offered you creative freedom
90% because you have good memories of playing it when you were a kid

I wish I got good at making coasters, especially compact ones.

sprites
isometric
coded in assembly

If anything the game has gotten better because Open RCT patches up all the annoyances and limitations from before.

Got a link for the full game with those patches?

Imagine actually believing this. I swear nu/v/ is getting dumber.

Wait what, I knew Chris Sawyer is a wizard, but he coded RCT in assembly?

>when you were a kid
More like in 2016 when Yea Forums regularly hosted OpenRCT2 servers

I looked it up, he coded it in assembler, still impressive as fuck.

I only played the third one. Why are the first two considered to be better?

It was made when people made games for people to have fun playing, not to siphon money out of them.

Just better-made games user. Less is more in this case.

They were made by one autist who is a literal coding wizard and can also into proper game design.

how does it play on a hacked switch tho.
I imagine a touchscreen would be useful

Isometric grid made the building really precise. Even newer games like Planet Coaster can't capture tight design of the original RCT. It's the reason why the newer Sim City games can't match the feel of the 3k/4

ok

I believe it because it's true for me
