YoshiP, the director, deferred all Viera related lore to Yasumi Matsuno, who wrote FFXII. Male Viera are basically reclusive breeding boys that stay in the forests. I haven't played FF11 or FF14, but I'm assuming that 14 is a direct sequel or something to 11. I don't heal but I'd kind of like GRM with a hammer as a healer because I want to try a healer and the current options don't appeal. A melee healer is as close as I can get in FF to my vaunted armored healer. If I can get GRM as a healer in this expac then it's poised to eclipse Heavensward for me in appeal. Basically the only thing I'll be concerned about is Nomura being in charge of the 8-man and what that means for gear. I'll write off shitty belts and zippers in exchange for everything else.
