The porn is gana be great
somebody asked a couple threads back about other weapons for Vergil and I genuinely think a scythe would fit him real well
Patty will never show up beyond a voice line
Wouldn't be surprised
Yea Forums, why does my son refuse to use devil arms and uses his stupid wroom-wroom sword and a plebeian gun instead?
No, a scythe was used in DmC, anything even remotely related to DmC bad.
The character shouldn't even have legs, characters in DmC had legs
>load up the game to fuck around in photo mode
>wonder where i last saved, load up save file
>necromancer kicking my ass into next week
STOP STOP STOP
>Nero is just chilling around town with Kyrie
>Mundus shows up with an army of demons out of nowhere
>Along with every major villain in the series including Urizen somehow
>Nero and Mundus exchange some shit talk
>Mundus realizes who Nero is
>Nero obliterates him with one strike and all the other demons flee
>Nero does sentai poses afterwards while Kyrie claps because it's a filler episode
Cause its a sword with an engine on it, he's not gana get anything more neat
I want to join a poetry club with V
Don’t you mean the decendant of this glorious bastard? He was the original demon summoner before V was concepted.
Because the last Devil Arm he had was stolen by a certain someone.
Also you refused to actually teach your son how to create them despite having ample opportunity to do so.
Remember not to think about the plot too hard, it's full of mistranslations and plot holes. Just enjoy the lulz and gameplay.
AN ETERNITY IN AN HOUR
Someone should do this with vergil and nero now.
If Dante had a daughter what would he name her?
I want to fill Lady's dark soul with light
Lmfao there isn't a more cucked character than V or a more CHAD character than Nero
I want V to read more than two poems
Tequanda
Someone has.
Didn't save it though.
Pepper Roni
>was stolen
Technically Yamato was and IS Vergil's. Dante is a thief here, just like with Beowulf.
>mistranslations
>plot holes
List them, we need something to talk about in the thread.
These models really are incredible.
Daniqua
What is he watching bros?
Chloe von Einzbern. She's basically brown femDante alredy.
Why does Dante love pizza more than women?
Pull my devil trigger, user. C'mon. Just tug a little.
Surely Patty was only inviting Dante to her 18th birthday so she could spend time with a long-time friend and do some catching up without any sort of lewd thoughts in mind, right? R-Right?
>I wrote a blogpost a while ago about why I fucking hate video games because this is what it does, it appeals to like the male fantasy
How did Nero and Nico meet, how did Devil May Cry become a mobile company in the first place. any thoughts
The fuck is he eating?
Eva
>goblina
Don't bully my wife.
They aren't evil or devious.
I hate that I read that in the correct voice.
gum
it's a taunt you get from killing the judecca in his credits
>tfw you are right because Nico is literally a developer's fetish
They chronicle their meeting in the prequel novel.
Before the Nightmare.
Read that. I think Nero just decided to make it a mobile one because Dante already had a central office.
Literally explained in the novel
Gum. It's a taunt that heals a bit of health, you get it when you kill the teleporting asshole at the end of his credits fight
It's literally in the novel.
twitter.com
Fuck yeah
Oh, does parrying the shield bash instantly break them or is that only a property of Ice Age?
>there is a fucking novel
what in the shit
Jesus she’s so ugly. What happened to the face scanning of her?
How does Vergil keep his hair up?
She is also my fetish. and I am female.
Oh yes user. Has a lot of details. Like how Dante got out of hell, Lucia, V, etc.
>He saw it all via hidden webcam
Mary
Put THAT thighs webm from the previous threads in there.
>How did Nero and Nico meet
Kyrie put out an ad on Fortuna's paper looking for a threesome partner.
it's translated in some strange spark notes fashion, this is the weirdest news I've gotten all day
Are you the one who wants to fuck Vergil's ass?
I mean, Nero IS the closest to modern Sparda.
Has anyone parried Nidhogg or Elder Geryon Knight?
Any parry on the shield bash breaks it. Parrying is a really underrated mechanic.
someone put the ricardo gif
naw the order found it some where, then it was absorbed by nero's arm
>It's your, idiot
>your
If you use that costume you are a douchebag
You mean this one?
star wars
Yep
It was stated that Agnus was collecting the shards and finding the locations of them when he was working for Uroboros
There's more than one vagina in these threads user.
I remember in the dante showcase from september they said dante's rose could also break the shield but the guy playing wasn't able to do it.
>tomboy
what is the boost it gives blue rose? I know its in the descirption is pwers up both Blue Rose and Red queen. But I havent thought to mess with Blue rose while using it
>vagina
You mean femine penis.
How horrible is Pizza night when Nero, Vergil, and Dante are around?
so proper order of holder is
Virg > Nelo Angelo > Agnus > Order > Nero > Dante > Nero > Virg
I'm the one who wants to fuck anything with a pulse.
Technically Sparda was the first
>Fight a Sin Scissors in the Void with V to see if I can parry with Shadow.
>The Sin Scissors and Griffon kinda just circle around each other while risings waaaay up into the air.
okay
>First try mission 4 on DMD
>Get rekt the first time around by the first behemoth
>Second time game crashes on the second one
>There's three more fucking behemoths
>Manage to get to the judecca
>Got down to like 40% health
>V can't regen health lol
>Green gainer gives shit for orbs
>DMD means no green orb packs
>Nidhogg is fucking impossible
>Try three times
>About to do it a fourth time
>Accidentally press restart mission instead of checkpoint
>Have to do the whole shitty thing again
>Manage to get there with a good amount of hell
>Feel like I got this
>Nidhogg DTs
>Still got this
>Die
>Fuck it, use a gold
>Beat the mission
>Had done so well style wise I get an A despite the revive
>I would have gotten a fucking S if not for that
imagine
Hot
Sparda apparently stole it from some other high-tier demon
Also Sparda
very true
>Try to use V EX taunt
>Game fucking crashes
Wtf, it was stable as fuck for the last few weeks.
>finally beat m12 dmd no continues
>no S rank
fuck
at least I can finally do m13 dmd
Is there a phone in mission 7 so I can call Nico so she can give arms to my bitch ass
Lets you do a manually aimed supercharged shot. I once saw a guy knock Vergil out of jet mode with it.
>Implying Sparda will steal things like his asshole son Vergil
He forged both Yamato and Rebellion.
I'm pretty sure you can parry them with Shadow and cane
>Vergil begins to shove the pizza box inside his ass
>Nero angrily yelling at last slice, trying to establish dominance, it isnt working
>Dante using all his demonic strength to shove more pizza into his mouth, he does the retarded Michael Jackson dance while crying
it's horrifying
If you think I care, you're wrong.
Basically turns it into a railgun. It has it's own free-aim thing that fucks me up all the time because I forget to stop charging a shot.
Boipussy doesn't count as a vagina user
Griffon's Round Robin can parry anything easily, and the subsequent bursts will launch them
This is the answer.
Nope.
Lore files in DMC5 indicate that Sparda actually forged Force Edge/Sparda, Rebellion and Yamato all from his own power.
The guy was bullshit strong enough that he could make 3 different devil arms from his power.
>Try and do Ice age to parry an incoming attack from the Proto Angelo.
>It does Revolver instead and I die because of it.
Back forward inputs feel really finicky sometimes and it's really annoying when it happens at those times.
How many apples did he eat
Bianca
damn that sounds interesting, i need to give it try
She was going to rape him but Dante didn't show up.
Let us deduce the taste of the Sparda lineage.
Sparda loves thick thighs & thigh highs
Vergil loves the same + aggressive women
Nero loves wholesome best friend who he considers his lover and sister at once with a big ass
Agnus loves rough women with sassy attitudes & a thing for gunsmithing
That leaves Dante.
You get a 1.2x multiplier for not dying
You get a 1.0x multiplier for resurrecting with Red orbs (even if you do the full resur)
You get a 0.9x multiplier for resurrecting with a Gold Orb
It might been enough for you to get S rank.
Never use Gold orbs
Anyone know?
>Kyrie walks in with more Pizza
>All of them stop to look at her
>She tries to put the pizza down, slowly
>She isnt fast enough
>They lunge at her, tearing the pizza from her hands
>She is laying on the ground, shivering in shock at the sparda descendants consume more slices of pizza in the most horrifying ways possible
> Nero, Dante and Vergil all saying they'll be trapped in the underworld when Yamato can literally make portals anywhere.

I'm pretty sure Dante's rose throw counts as a gun so can't actually parry.
>That leaves Dante.
His mommy
Also Nico's mom wasnt sassy nor a gunsmith
We have no clue.
Considering Rebellion can bind demonic power and Yamato can sever it, and they both came from him one could say Sparda just had those as his innate powers.
Thus he could have leveled up by absorbing power from a bunch of defeated demons repeatedly.
Maybe he was weak when originally he awoke to justice and kept on leveling up as Hell threw more powerful people at him as he just absorbed their power.
Lilith
Doesn't using the Nightmare shortcut in the Nobodies fight let you skip the latter Behemoths?
Fuck, I thought red orb revive did score you down.
It’s essentially this
youtube.com
Wait
How do you do the dance?
Why is Vergil even alive when he was killed in 1?
Why did they add the part of Eva not being able to find and hide Vergil like she did Dante? Wasn't the point of Dante and Vergil is them being identical but dealing with their loss in different ways?
What does Griffon mean when he says that he and the other familiars are Vergil abhorrent thoughts? Is it supposed to be a representation of his nightmares as Nelo Angelo? Wouldn't being powerless and watching Mundus kill his mother again be his true nightmare/fear?
Why did they have Vergil love that book as a child, but only explain that in a library entry? Couldn't they let V drop one line about it too?
Why doesn't Dante seem to care one bit about Vergil returning other than seeming to be exhausted by the fact. Shouldn't he be excited, hopeful, angry or even sad that his brother is returning that he may have either a chance to help him redeem himself, or having to finish him once and for all? He cried over Vergil at the end of 3.
Why does Vergil want to fight and kill Dante again? Wasn't the whole point of V that his human side deeply regretted his mad quest for power?
Why isn't Vergil deeply troubled what he did to his own son, especially after his development as V and his implied reverence for his father in 3?
Why does Vergil flat out say that he doesn't care about his own son, but then accepts not to murder Dante when Nero beats the fuck out of him?
Why does Nero get his DT in a phonecall, instead of something like him getting stabbed by Yamato with Vergil taunting him, and a flashback?
Why does Dante get his SinDT just by stabbing himself out of curiosity? Wouldn't it be at least smarter to put the flashback of him hiding the closet while Eva looks for Vergil right there?
Why do Dante and Vergil say that Nero being there allows them to go to the demon world, as if they're going to be trapped there? Doesn't Yamato just allow them to go wherever they want to? Couldn't Nico just make a hellgate like Agnus did?
Do you guys think that 2 millions+ is enough Reason for DLC ?
Wait what the fuck, am I missing something? Was Agnus Nico's dad?
He wasn't Sparda bloodline though right?
Isn’t Nicos mother Neil Goldstein?
>Needing apples when you could WOKE UP TO JUSTICE
Beatrice, going on with the Divine Comedy angle.
Guys, I just finished playing DMCV and I demand all the fanart, memes, and comics that you have collected.
I must have them all.
>anything even remotely related to DmC bad.
Anything from DmC that DMCV has done was done much better than the former could ever dream. But I see what you mean, a scythe while cool doesn't seem like a Vergil thing.
>Mission 5 DMD
>Riot rape hallway
>femDante looks morr Trish than Trish
Agnus is indeed Nicos father. It’s confirmed in the novel, and when she meets & hands Dante Dr. Faust, she stutters hard just like her old man
>SDT using a demolition big succ but to put pizza in his mouth
>Vergil uses doppelganger to eat two slice at once
>Nero dual snatching pizza from them
Depends, on what they expected in sales
Nah, grandmother.
>> Where did V's cane go?
Pay attention to the fucking game.
It was used to channel nightmare. It is in his boss fight intro. Either it disappeared, or is in the middle of tons of qliphoth. Not that it matters, as the data entries says it is a completely normal Cane. The one with powers is V.
Eva-Beatrice
While I disagree with a few of those here's another.
>If rebellion was super special and important and could even be used while broken, why didn't Urizen do anything with those shards?
>Why didn't V's familiars automatically get absorbed into Vergil when V and Urizen fused?
>Earlier games seemed to imply that partial devil's needed a Devil Arm to awaken a DT, thus Dante awakening with Rebellion in 3. How did Nero do it without a Devil Arm?
fuuuuuck
her father was mentioned a few times in cutscenes but they never say it's Agnus in-game
I thought she was just sperging out cause she was fanboying hard
Isn’t that non canon anymore because kamiya isn’t on board?
For at least one, more than that only if a lot of people buy it
gatta wonder why they gave her that jew nose
>same for Baajiru
Beatrice
Well her model has it to, but it looks way worse in game than in 3dpd.
>pass this information on to gf who likes nico
>"who in the world fucked that guy?"
i've come to the startling realization that fortuna thots carry the plot of devil may cry
I want a Beowulf overhaul like the Cerberus one.
As for new weapons specifically:
>Bow and Arrow/Yumi
>Scythe
Either of these will do.
> Why didn't Dante get a power up when he was impaled in past DMC media?
Dante did get a power up the first time he was stabbed with Rebellion. He says so in 5. Alastor did the same thing. Both unlocked DT in their respective games.
Dante didn't get SDT the first time because he didn't also have the Sparda sword present to chow down on while getting stabbed.
nidhogg is an insane first boss for V when you think about it
you have all this shit to manage then the first boss is 4 dudes at once
I never watched the anime because I heard it sucked. Why did Dante hang up on Patty for inviting him to her 18th birthday party? Seems kinda rude.
Not weeb enough
> Nero, Dante and Vergil all saying they'll be trapped in the underworld when Yamato can literally make portals anywhere.
That was so Dante could lie to Nero so he'd feel important
Maybe there's only a certain timeframe that they can get out of hell
> How was both V and Dante able to tell that Trish was in Cavalier Angelo?
Aren't they able to sense demons?
> Why was Urizen not interested in getting Sparda?
Fruit was more powerful I guess
> Why didn't Dante get a power up when he was impaled in past DMC media?
He didn't have sparda with him
> Is Dante a virgin?
no
> Was Vergil always in love with Poetry or was that solely a V thing?
Vergil recites a line from blake before committing Sudoku
> Why is it that Vergil looks different from Dante when they are identical twins?
dans chad jaw
His battle theme was pretty fucking baller too
she was just always giving him shit for, well, everything
but he saved her life and she was important to something or some shit
Agnus was pure /fit/ Yea Forums though.
>Yamato can literally make portals anywhere.
I've heard Yamato could only seal it by staying in the underworld but I'm not sure where that came from.
>Where did V's cane go?
It was just a metal cane. It showed up in the Nightmare boss introduction so it presumably was there somewhere and got destroyed with the summons.
>How was both V and Dante able to tell that Trish was in Cavalier Angelo?
They can feel her.
>Why was Urizen not interested in getting Sparda?
Dante had long past surpassed his father and Urizen was already stronger than Dante. He probably had no means to gain power from it like he would with the fruit.
>What enabled V to just disintegrate demons?
Other way around. Anyone can presumably kill demons and they will disinegrate. V had to kill them himself because the summons weren't actually real.
>The physics of the van
It's a videogame.
>Why didn't Dante get a power up when he was impaled in past DMC media?
Same reason he didn't get split in two when Vergil stabbed him with Yamato.
>Was Vergil always in love with Poetry or was that solely a V thing?
It's something he liked as a child. Read the documents.
>Why is it that Vergil looks different from Dante when they are identical twins?
They're just twins, not identical.
>Are Vergil and Dante's clothes just some extension of them?
No.
>Why is Vergil even alive when he was killed in 1?
His fate was kind of ambiguous, he just exploded like in earlier battles as far as I remember.
>Why did they add the part of Eva not being able to find and hide Vergil like she did Dante? Wasn't the point of Dante and Vergil is them being identical but dealing with their loss in different ways?
I think it was known before 5 that he was on his own when it happened.
>What does Griffon mean when he says that he and the other familiars are Vergil abhorrent thoughts? Is it supposed to be a representation of his nightmares as Nelo Angelo? Wouldn't being powerless and watching Mundus kill his mother again be his true nightmare/fear?
Don't think he saw his mother get killed. But I think being forced to be the mindless servant of the guy who killed his mother might be worse for him than anything else.
>Why did they have Vergil love that book as a child, but only explain that in a library entry? Couldn't they let V drop one line about it too?
Probably one of the parts that should have been fleshed out some more.
Perhaps because he was already prepared for the fact that he'd be back, since V tells him that Urizen is Vergil.
>Why does Vergil want to fight and kill Dante again? Wasn't the whole point of V that his human side deeply regretted his mad quest for power?
V did consider killing Dante, though. He still resented him.
what kinda sick person told you it sucked, its pretty good. ITS NOT PERFECT but easily worth a watch
>Vergil:..........Can we get Mexican instead?
>record scratches
>Vergil: I do enjoy nachos.
Nah, Agnus was actually abroad when he fucked.
He ditched Alyssa (Nico's mom) and Nico after the order recalled him.
In fact refused to tell them about Fortuna or what he was doing so he basically cut himself away.
Reminder these 2 worked for each other under the same company. Agnus came out on top though
Nah it sucks.
You can run from them anyway.
>Why didn't V's familiars automatically get absorbed into Vergil when V and Urizen fused?
Vergil rejected them since they were basically thoughts from when he was nelo
>Vergil watched El Donte specials while he was under control of Mundus
>Patty is a summoner
>Instead of a book she gets a cell phone
I always got the impression that Dante in 3 got DT because Vergil wounded him pretty badly through the fight and the damage by impaling him with rebellion just was high enough to put him on the edge of death, triggering DT.
I think the idea that Vergil just happened to stab Dante like that with Rebellion and unlocked his DT is pretty damn stupid.
>Dante and Nero slide up beside Vergil
>Both of them putting a hand on his shoulders
>Do we need to kick your ass, again?
>tfw no mexican summon
>they're just twins, not identical
Downgrade, them being identical twins was pretty neat
He fulfilled Spardas words of wisdom.
He really doesn't wanna go to a party with normals. If Patty came to hang out at Devil May Cry that would be different, she did that as a kid.
Dante is just autistic and anti-social and needs Patty to drag his ass out of hell for his own good.
Agnus has nothing to do with sparda, not sure why user bundled him in
Itsuno never had the guts to go against it. He just doesn't showcase it either.
5 files confirm that Lady and dante dont have anything romantic, while dantes and trish relationship is "vague and mysterious"
Also the anime ( now canon) jokes about dantes fucked up sexuality towards trish
Fuck it sign me up senpai
we could make phoning it in jokes just like we're already doing with V anyway
Must suck to be you then, I enjoy it every time
Anime revolved around a macguffin Pendant.
Her summons will come from jewelery instead of a cane.
this took way too long for such a retarded result
gay ass program wouldn't lemme change the perspective of a different layer
Dante looked disgusted when he heard she's 18 now.
Guys, I have to confess. I might catch some hate, but it's the honest truth and I want to spill it:
I actually like DMC2. I'm well aware of its flaws but I still like it.
>moshi moshi Phantom desu
>One of her taunts is pulling out her phone and talking to someone.
>If you listen really carefully you can hear one of several dozen easter egg lines from previous characters throughout the franchise, chosen at random.
Why?
How would you weaponize a lawnmower without making it Cavaliere 2.0?
I’m going to need you to explain in detail why user.
People saying the anime sucked are people that went in expecting the anime to be a 1:1 adaptation of the games. The anime goes more into the day to day life of Dante and him handling smaller cases, the anime was made on a tight budget though, so some scenes don't look good
In my 200 page fanfiction, Bayonetta is Nero's deadbeat mother, and that Vergil doesn't like to talk about her because she essentially raped him.
You are what we call a minority opinion. Do not argue like your taste is fact.
>DMC6
>PC is "Sparda"
>Uses the same design as DMC1 Sparda with Yamato
>Actually brainwashed Vergil working under Mundus
He's disgusted because he has to take her on that date now
I like the tone of the game but the gameplay suck
I can see being able to derive some joy from it.
I like Lucia and some of the things it added.
Majin is cool, the amulet system was interesting, some of the enemies and bosses had neat designs even if they had bad AI.
And the plot was average at worst for DMC games.
He's scared because he's ran out of excuses
>Why isn't Vergil deeply troubled what he did to his own son, especially after his development as V and his implied reverence for his father in 3?
Probably too autistic to feel much about it, especially when mortal wounds aren't quite as bit of a deal to partial devils.
>Why does Vergil flat out say that he doesn't care about his own son, but then accepts not to murder Dante when Nero beats the fuck out of him?
I think he said that in the heat of the moment before it actually sunk in. Remember that he asks "Nero is my son?" later. At that point the fight between the two was also just a matter of their stubbornness and Nero made them realize how pointless it was.
>Why does Nero get his DT in a phonecall, instead of something like him getting stabbed by Yamato with Vergil taunting him, and a flashback?
He doesn't get it during the phone call, though, he gets it while running toward the place they were fighting. I think it would've been better if it happened while watching them fight.
>Why does Dante get his SinDT just by stabbing himself out of curiosity? Wouldn't it be at least smarter to put the flashback of him hiding the closet while Eva looks for Vergil right there?
Not sure if the flashback would've fit there, but there should probably have been something leading to him getting the idea.
>Why do Dante and Vergil say that Nero being there allows them to go to the demon world, as if they're going to be trapped there? Doesn't Yamato just allow them to go wherever they want to? Couldn't Nico just make a hellgate like Agnus did?
Well, they want to keep it sealed preferably. I do think they'll probably be able to get out at some point. Maybe Dante was also being a bit overly dramatic due to Nero's reaction and to let him know that he trusts in his abilities.
Why couldn't they
>Allow us to select any character for any mission after clearing the game
>Put a customization menu in the main menu for costume/music/cutscene customization all in one place
>Add Nico's shop/a divinity statue menu to the main menu so we can do that from the main menu
>Put secret missions into mission select
blaugh
so many weird UI problems with this game
>Patty as a summoner drags Dante out of hell
>we get a reverse of pic related
>You summoned me out of mating season, for THIS BULLSHIT!?!
>Vergil: *sighs* Fine. I would like............anchovies.
>record scratches even harder
>Vergil: I enjoy the taste.
Because fuck you.
>Allow us to select any character for any mission after clearing the game
People are speculating that's coming with BP, hopefully
>if she gets Dante screaming "LIIIIIIIGHT" she pulls the phone away from her ear and looks at it in disgust before hanging up
That is literally what your doing though.
>want to Buster knuckle
>buster accidently instead
>literally died at the end of mission 7 DMD cause I get hit while locked in the Buster animation
You basically just take a lawnmower blade and make it function like the whirligig saw from bloodborne
Give it a couple slamming attacks and some swings and you're golden
If it needs a gimmick it works kind of to the inverse of Cavaliere, when you hit something you can hold the button to hold the blade in place and it does extra damage and it's a good thing
Bayo belongs to Dante.
savior.. bloodstain... hellfire... shadow...
Because levels where designed with certain characters in mind. If they weren't, you would never play as characters you don't want.
The real question is why do you still have to unlock missions in different difficulties once you've beaten them once. Not having to do that would fix the problem without having to take away the first time try.
Defend this.
He was sick of vergils shit, remember this is his second time fucking things up. He was younger back then so he of course wouldn't understand as well.
>Why does Vergil want to fight and kill Dante again? Wasn't the whole point of V that his human side deeply regretted his mad quest for power?
Dante is the one who requested the fight. I don't think vergil wanted to kill him if he asked him to heal up.
>Why isn't Vergil deeply troubled what he did to his own son, especially after his development as V and his implied reverence for his father in 3?
Vergil is vergil he won't show emotions
>Why does Vergil flat out say that he doesn't care about his own son, but then accepts not to murder Dante when Nero beats the fuck out of him?
That line is mistranslated.
Do you have a link to the original video?
The use of Overture there was a waste, you and Vergil both have i-frames during the animation and Vergil only takes the damage from Buster.
>I think it was known before 5 that he was on his own when it happened.
From what I remember Dante and Vergil were together and experienced the exact same shit, just dealt with it the exact same. 5 changed that for some or no reason.
>But I think being forced to be the mindless servant of the guy who killed his mother might be worse for him than anything else.
Isn't his whole reason for being 'I NEED MORE POWER' him not being able to protect mommy? How does shedding bosses that Dante fought in 1 help him to cope with his experience as Nelo Angelo? Does it mean that it just helped him forget?
>V did consider killing Dante, though. He still resented him.
Why does V resent Dante? In 3 all that Dante was to him was an obstacle to get more power? Considering V is human and flat out says he regrets his mad quest for power, shouldn't he understand Dante and see how Dante honors their fathers legacy?
>Nero made them realize how pointless it was.
Didn't Nero just interrupt them and beat up his daddy? Shouldn't he have shamed Vergil for dishonoring Sparda's legacy? It would have been in character for Nero, considering the order of the sword studied and revered Sparda.
>Carries around Agni and Rudra
>She doesn't actually use them to fight, she just likes having someone to talk to
Everyone had fucking huge noses in DMC1-3 but only Trish kept it
It’s not like you ain’t got shit to do chief
>patty became a summoner just to get Dante to go to her party
Guys does anyone have that gif/webm of Nero styling on Credo? I need that badly for a friend who is currently playing dmc4 and doesnt like Nero.
wrong
Buster arm cant handle the hit so Nero has to take the damage instead.
The better question is why is it only noticeable now. 1-3 you dont pay attention to it
I'd call that bad timing but not bad enough. Super Buster has armor frames once active so I guess it cancelled the knockback from the hit and kept going despite the damage taken.
>From what I remember Dante and Vergil were together and experienced the exact same shit
No? I'm pretty sure it was said otherwise and in DMC1 and its novel Vergil was straight up taken by Mundus.
Never happened to me
I mean she already has the magic ancestry to back it up.
The bombs get triggered by the summon swords and you can clearly see them damage his lifebar when they explode.
The original joke behind the webm is that the bombs are on his crotch
What the fuck was that van made of anyway.
Definitely stronger than any devil arm
It's certainly not the gameplay if you're wondering about that.
I'm seeing a lot of potoential gone to horrible waste in DMC2. From the environments, which range from medieval towns over modern cities to ancient persian looking underground temples. DMC2 actually utilized a very, and I must stretch this: VERY, undercooked combat and input system which I still found interesting (naturally with some equally undercooked combos and moves), it had wall-running anywhere and on the go, it had a genuinely good soundtrack, it had some cool demon designs (visually speaking, not gameplay design), it had one of the best looking Dantes, while it was overall kind of colorless it actually had a somewhat eerie feeling about it, I actually like the Vendetta and Merciless swords and my favorite version of Rebellion, I liked the idea of using amulets of setting up your devil trigger.
It had some nice ideas.
right before you reach surface level
>Certain characters in mind
remove grim grips and you've basically solved the problem except you don't even need to because both V and Dante could just do a teleport thing
you make a very good point about missions also but that's a lesser concern, going through higher difficulties sequentially is fine
you should be able to start with son of sparda though
that said I guess the cutscenes introducing certain enemies might get messed up by that, you get wacky enemies really early on in that mode so maybe that's why but that's a similar thing to the above so eh
is that a bug? Breaker confuses me so much. Do you have to use it's charge for it to work on bosses?
What exactly are you supposed to press there? Asking for a friend.
Poor timing. You're lucky you got the grab at all.
>Sudden realization that Ragtimes Breakage gives you a free buster on Vergil when he goes angry airplane mode
How did I not realize this until now? I feel like such a dumbass
You don't need to charge the Buster Arm, but it does more damage and has super armor if you do. More damage than DT Bringer Buster.
CUT MY LIFE INTO PIECES
Summoned Swords are considered part of the Buster animation. I know those bombs aren't working on him because I've used them on him - they do almost the exact same amount of damage as a Buster Breakage. If they both worked he'd be taking double damage.
Ah I get what you mean. Yeah I do like the ideas of DMC2 like Uroboros, Arius and Lucia I liked Lucia’s speedy combat and how she was more leg focused as well.
this looks like a fairly standard trade
you're both hitting at the same time so it registers that you take damage but also that you landed your attack
Everyone involved seems happy about it, so I dunno
I need more dumb Dante Hank pics
>He was sick of vergils shit, remember this is his second time fucking things up.
Doesn't Dante understand that V regrets his actions? Wouldn't that instill hope in Dante that things could maybe be fixed?
>I don't think vergil wanted to kill him if he asked him to heal up.
Didn't Vergil just want a fight with the two of them at full power and have only one of them left standing at the end?
Wouldn't it defeat the purpose of the final duel and Nero's intervention if all Vergil wanted to do is to have a good fight? Wouldn't all Vergil have to say is 'this isn't a fight to the death' to make Dante stop from trying to murder his brother?
>Vergil is vergil he won't show emotions
Doesn't Vergil show reverence for his father in 3, along with anger at being beat by Dante?
Why wouldn't they let him show some emotions, do the writers think Vergil is a sociopath?
Yea Forums is being a bitch and not letting me post pic, but just search for Nero fight Credo gif on google that you'll find it
You can also buster grab him when he's flying
Wait what is the Difference Buster vs Bringer?
Artist?
Bringer < Buster < Buster Breakage
Cartoon logic
I need to fuck around with it more, when I get it to work on a boss seems tottally random (though i know it cant be) like with Goliath. Cant figure out window for when it works
Will we ever see videos like this for DMC5?
youtube.com
youtube.com
>Vergil doesn't show emotions
>WHY ISN'T THIS WORKING.mkv
I can't be sure if that van had more character than Nico or if the van was a part of Nico's character
Because it was basically the same for everyone except Lady and Lucia, everyone had a nose that looks like it came straight off a roman sculpture
Mate, seriously, watch the webm again. On a normal buster Vergil takes a large chunk of damage only once at the end when he gets stabbed with Yamato, and a small bit of damage at the very start. In that webm he takes a large chunk of damage twice, once when the Overtures explode and again at the end when stabbed. You are mistaken.
forgot the example
youtu.be
Literally from here
Buster does way more damage than bringer, pure unga
Why did they choose to make V and Urizen being Vergil not a shock to the audience and characters? Wouldn't that have been more emotionally impactful?
5's writing really is terrible
The Devil Breaker Buster Arm does more damage overall and its Super Buster charge attack cannot be interrupted like any other Buster attack.
Bringer Buster has infinite uses but can always be interrupted.
Damage order goes: Normal Bringer > Normal Breaker > DT Bringer > Super Buster
>you should be able to start with son of sparda
Oh, absolutely. DH has been the easier it's ever been and there's a massive jump betweet it SoS and DMD. The game needed hard mode being a little more forgiving and unlocked from the start and a very hard mode between it and DMD like 3 did.
>going through higher difficulties sequentially is fine
It's fine if you want to play the whole game again, but if you feel like playing Dante and have to still beat 10 missions with Nero before being able to, it sucks. Especially on higher difficulties where you want more of a challenge than to beat the game as a whole. By the time you get there your interest to play with that character is gone.
Damage Multiplier.
Buster Breakage also has some Super Armor and I frames.
Also you can double up.
Use the Bringer to hold something while you use Buster Arm.
Though to those more knowledgeable about it, can you Bringer Knuckle while Buster Arming?
Am I having a weird glitch, or do a lot of missions in 5 just not playing the normal battle music? Seems like missions 7, 8, and 14+ completely ignore whatever songs you choose
Make it work like the feet chainsaws from Bayo 2 except big and slow, where if you hold the button after a swing and release it with good timing you slice out with the blade for extra damage.
Super buster cant be interrupted
You used the buster too late, but as the frames continue active even taking damage, you managed to catch him mid flight.
Its the opposite of Air Royal guard, where you can activate RG frames before the invincibility frames end.
It's that 300k taunt
>can you Bringer Knuckle while Buster Arming?
You can use Bringer Knuckle during any Breaker animation.
They are handsome devil's even that fucker arkham
>Considering V is human and flat out says he regrets his mad quest for power, shouldn't he understand Dante and see how Dante honors their fathers legacy?
Because he's Vergil, he had a moment of weakness. Just because it's his human side doesn't mean he doesn't have the same passions as his demonic side. He even calls for more power at one time.
>Isn't his whole reason for being 'I NEED MORE POWER' him not being able to protect mommy? How does shedding bosses that Dante fought in 1 help him to cope with his experience as Nelo Angelo? Does it mean that it just helped him forget?
It's symbolic about leaving your past behind and getting over his trauma.
gib profile
Normal Buster does more damage than DT bringer
Patty raping Dante while Lucia helplessly watches! And secretly enjoys it!
>From what I remember Dante and Vergil were together and experienced the exact same shit, just dealt with it the exact same. 5 changed that for some or no reason.
I remember something about him being alone and being stabbed.
>Isn't his whole reason for being 'I NEED MORE POWER' him not being able to protect mommy? How does shedding bosses that Dante fought in 1 help him to cope with his experience as Nelo Angelo? Does it mean that it just helped him forget?
Yeah, I think Eva's death is the underlying reason, but I think being Mundus' servant just drove home the feeling of powerlessness. Not sure how exactly the demons factor into it.
>Why does V resent Dante? In 3 all that Dante was to him was an obstacle to get more power? Considering V is human and flat out says he regrets his mad quest for power, shouldn't he understand Dante and see how Dante honors their fathers legacy?
As Vergil he does state that he feels like Dante never lost anything. He's wrong, but I suppose it's also envy of how Dante dealt with anything and seemingly didn't have the same kind of hangups, which he thinks is because their mother took care of Dante when it all happened.
>Didn't Nero just interrupt them and beat up his daddy? Shouldn't he have shamed Vergil for dishonoring Sparda's legacy? It would have been in character for Nero, considering the order of the sword studied and revered Sparda.
How would that be in character for Nero? Nero didn't give a shit about the Order's religion. He just didn't want to see the family members he just found out he actually had kill each other over a pointless rivalry.
>you will never get to kiss him
why live
Just make them super jump/griffon flying points
Or just add platforms to run across because fuck it
Right, but if you could at least pick to play as Dante for those first ten missions (or Nero or god forbid V) then it would basically be fine
So far I'm finding Son of Sparda pretty reasonable and a nice step up from DH but I dunno for sure, I've only just beaten Cavaliere Angelo
>From what I remember Dante and Vergil were together and experienced the exact same shit, just dealt with it the exact same. 5 changed that for some or no reason.
Nope. I believe there was a manga that explained this. Vergil was pinned to a grave by demons and was forced to watch the house burn before grabbing Yamato and slaughtering them all.
well fuck now I feel stupid for ignoring buster
Nah let Lucia have a kid with him.
So Dante has a 3/4 demon child to contrast Vergil's 1/4 Demon child (Nero).
It's okay user
I ignored every single devil breaker except for overture really
With all the shit Nico makes, there's definitely some demonic power or something in that van.
So anyone know how the EX costumes are unlocked? I just got V's from finishing up S ranking Human mode.
I always thought that was more like a dream sequence instead of being literal?
Devil May Cry 3 manga
V's is from doing 20 of his missions or S ranking 20 missions of his or something like that
Vergil's is from beating Heaven or Hell iirc
rest were DLC
>It's symbolic about leaving your past behind and getting over his trauma.
I really don't see how Dante beating the shadows of bosses from 1 is representative of Vergil overcoming his trauma as Nelo Angelo. Wouldn't it have made more sense if he accepted it as some sort of punishment by karma for his acts in 3?
>How would that be in character for Nero?
Doesn't he flat out say 'I do know that Sparda had a heart. A heart that could love another person, a human. And that is what you lack!' in 4? Couldn't he literally say that to Vergil?
Where is Lucia anyway
I thought you just had to buy them, are they actually unlocable
Oh christ, is dmc bringing back Hank/Connor shit now? I left that in the dirt after that bald French fuck was trying to get popular off of the sexual innuendo that he didn't even know the other writer put in the game.
>Doesn't Dante understand that V regrets his actions? Wouldn't that instill hope in Dante that things could maybe be fixed?
Dante didn't know V was Vergil until after he merged. And V never expressed anything to Dante only to trish and nero remember?
>Didn't Vergil just want a fight with the two of them at full power and have only one of them left standing at the end?Wouldn't it defeat the purpose of the final duel and Nero's intervention if all Vergil wanted to do is to have a good fight? Wouldn't all Vergil have to say is 'this isn't a fight to the death' to make Dante stop from trying to murder his brother?
Dante wanted yamato and vergil wasn't going to go down without a fight. It was probably a last one standing kinda thing.
>Doesn't Vergil show reverence for his father in 3, along with anger at being beat by Dante?
Why wouldn't they let him show some emotions, do the writers think Vergil is a sociopath?
Vergil wouldn't explicitly say sorry. He shows it through his actions. Him passing the book to nero as a sign that he'll be back is one of them.
I dropped spaghetti hard at the end but don't care enough to redo. Shoutout to that one Nero user that brings the sick aerial webms, you're an inspiration.
i thin this is the best meme the game has produced, that got me
Still with Matier. She fights alongside Dante when they take on Balrog
>PATTY PLEASE JUST A SIP
>Doesn't he flat out say 'I do know that Sparda had a heart. A heart that could love another person, a human. And that is what you lack!' in 4? Couldn't he literally say that to Vergil?
I don't see how exactly that is relevant to the situation. He found out he has family, he didn't want them to kill each other. It doesn't have anything to do with Sparda and having a heart. He just saw that their conflict was pointless and he made it clear to them.
Flock off kid
>I really don't see how Dante beating the shadows of bosses from 1 is representative of Vergil overcoming his trauma as Nelo Angelo. Wouldn't it have made more sense if he accepted it as some sort of punishment by karma for his acts in 3?
The bosses were trying to atone by fighting dante, he even says it in the game. In order for vergil to move on they needed to die.
still a whole lot better then I could do. Pretty great
nice, thank you
Prologue
Nero Level
Start the story with Nero getting his arm ripped off. The person who rips off his arm isn't nearly as sickly and stooped. They slash a tear calmly and depart. Shortly after, V shows up and there's some exposition about what's going on. Pretty much the speech he gives to Dante about the job. Nero will be dismissive because he feels shitty after getting his arm ripped off, feels a little helpless, and there can't possibly be an enemy that Dante can't handle. We move the line here about Urizen being the one who took Nero's arm so that he gets motivated with some revenge. I would have also done something like have him sitting in his kitchen with Kyrie, nursing his arm stub. Have Nero throw her a look before setting off to really cement that Vergil parallel where Nero starts to talk about needing power to protect the things that are important to him. Nero's kitchen can also be used for those goofy post-game vignettes of the characters sitting around. You know, no one-off assets.
The prologue happens as it is in the game, more or less. I'd probably retool it just a bit though so that Nero and V get thrown out of the tree and have to retreat rather than the way they just bust out and walk away as people are getting murdered right behind them.
Instead of a month passing though, it's just a few hours as they regroup in Nico's van just outside the city. Nico, V, and Nero spitball about Urizen and what may have happened to Dante and how they can't believe there's someone who could take him. Nico unveils her Devil Breaker prototypes and gives Overture to Nero. Nico and Nero talk about their family a little bit. V is cagey and doesn't say much about his. You could insert a dumb joke in here where Nero asks about V's family, V doesn't answer and stares at the floor. Nero says something like, "Guess cat's got your tongue." Shot of Shadow raising his head from his spot curled around V's feet. Some kind of affirmation that Nero is going to back for Urizen.
Why did Nelo Angelo leave the amulet behind that last time?
DMC2 introduced some really cool ideas that were properly utilized in 3
and yea I have to agree on the designs too. The early environment stood out to me. The city where you fight helicopters and tanks looked like complete shit, but those towns were nice looking.
God unloading 3 overtures on bosses is so satisfying.
If breakers come back in new game I hope the explosion thing is made into something all breakers can do, and overture gets a different break age, maybe a whole body shield like blitz's.
>Dante didn't know V was Vergil until after he merged.
Wrong, V told him from the get-go.
>Dante wanted yamato and vergil wasn't going to go down without a fight.
Wouldn't Vergil saying 'I have enough power' make Dante stop that? Didn't Vergil just wait ontop of the tree for their duel to the death?
>Vergil wouldn't explicitly say sorry.
Why wouldn't he show remorse? He shows emotions in 3? Wouldn't it perfectly in character for him to be disturbed or severly taken aback by the fact that he ripped his own sons arm off? Especially considering that he has learned V's lessons?
It was about Nero shaming Vergil for it/calling him out for dishonoring Sparda's legacy, which that line would more or less do.
M01
Nero Level
Cue the opening with the van and killing demons in slow motion, but now V is also in the back of the van, you can see him through the back window, looking really bored while using his cane to basically pin himself in his seat as the van rolls around.
The rest of the mission will end up being basically the exact same as it is in-game. V stays on the van and Nero tries out his new Devil Breaker while fighting the Qliphoth knot of roots. Crewcut confirms that this kind of corruption in Redgrave is starting to happen everywhere.
M02
Nero Level
V and Nero both take off from the van ("Guess we're walking from here.") and head toward the tree. Nero marvels at how quickly the roots have spread and how much destruction has been caused in the city in such a short amount of time. V will do the thing Lady and Trish do in the current game where he just kind of hobbles/surfs along and sits outside the combat arena while Nero does the early empusa fights. As they're heading into the hotel, the Hell Caina show up and do the usual car throwing. V says he's going on ahead as he's sure Nero has this. Maybe some snide remark about how Nero should be sure to catch up. Nero has a sigh and a line about his annoyance fighting easy mooks.
The rest of the level is pretty much the exact same as Nero moves through the hotel, tries to catch up to Goliath, jokes that Goliath may have eaten V, fight happens, V shows up, V kills Goliath, tummy teeth. In this new version, there's actually a reason why Goliath chokes out "Why are you...!?" before dying as he recognizes V as Mundus' progeny.
Instead of having to perform a few errands by destroying other roots near by, they just comment that they're getting closer.
It's not fair
What's this?
>Dante: Yes, there's also strawberry sundaes
>We move the line here about Urizen being the one who took Nero's arm so that he gets motivated with some revenge.
Father's son
wat
I got that, but how is supposed to work in a writing sense?
Wouldn't it make slightly more sense if at least Vergil killed them himself? How does Dante killing them accomplish anything for Vergil?
M03
Nero Level
Largely the same as it is in the game, Artemis included. There's some dialogue between V and Nero if V destroys the clot on the bridge though. Give them some flavor text to flesh out their dynamic. Maybe also show V fighting off in the distance if Nero looks out a window in the library or out those windows Artemis flies by and destroys.
Something I'd also build into the level is the rumblings or signs of Gilgamesh out in the distance. Maybe some dust clouds that pop up way out there with some buildings crumbling below the skyline and Nero muttering stuff about him being sure that's a good sign. Maybe he asks Artemis if she's the one making a mess of things once the fight starts.
Lady still gets saved and Nico still teases Nero about holding a naked woman.
Nah you can do it user, just gotta hit the void. I never thought I'd get my Nero play to where I was exceeding and using knuckle at the same time all the time but it clicks quicker than you think
Please share Vergil monster memes
Could someone post the Vergil render?
Where the FUCK is my THICK Vergil DT thigh highs???
>Dante, you are not a part of the Eagles
>Dante, alcohol doesn't even make you drunk, what are you acting like this for?
M04
V Level
Just like in the current game, happens concurrently with M03. Largely the same as in the current game, but throw in a reference to Artemis' existence from V's perspective where he hears a bunch glass breaking after something like a sonic boom and hears that weird noise Artemis makes not far off in the distance. Probably some appropriate Griffon quote laughing about how Nero has his hands full. I would also substitute some of the usual Qliphoth root spikes with the Nidhogg protrusions that he has three off during the boss fight. Have one or two pop up individually throughout the level and have Griffon comment on the fact that they look different than the usual weeds they've been whacking.
Here, I'd have it so that Nidhogg doesn't actually die. As soon as he's beaten, he stutters out some words about how strong V is and how much he dislikes the cat and bird, before retreating into the Qliphoth and burrowing away. V considers the matter taken care of for now and is about to press on when Gilgamesh lumbers into view.
Same thing happens where V falls underground after Gilgamesh takes shots at him at the end of the mission.
M05
V Level
A lot of the same here too. Gilgamesh rampage above and the legs popping through the ceiling was really good and this level was good in general. The ending with Geryon is also good, but slight change here regarding Malphas. Griffon doesn't talk about how she's too strong for them right now, but instead implies a deeper connection between V and Malphas, saying something that insinuates V has talked about her at some length in the past. ("Is that her? Is that Malphas? I don't get why you hate her so much, kid. I've heard stories, sure, but what demon hasn't done a little magic here and there? Not sure why you're quivering in your little black boots-" "Quiet." I don't know, something along those lines.) Have Malphas still issue orders to Cavaliere to find Sparda before disappearing. Boss fight happens as is in the game.
>there's actually a reason why Goliath chokes out "Why are you...!?" before dying as he recognizes V as Mundus' progeny.
That's some old shit
M06
Nero Level
Lady wakes up in the beginning of this level, not the end of it. Start the cutscene with Lady sitting upright with some slight groans and holding her head or something, Nico is shouting that she's awake and you can see Nero in the back of the van on the phone. He sees Lady's awake, implied to be saying goodbye to whoever he's talking to, hangs up, and walks over to Lady as she comes to. Nero and Nico ask about what happened to Dante, the conversation happens as it happens in the game with Lady not really remembering anything after getting tentacle'd. Gilgamesh rumblings shake the van and Nero says his "Too big to be left alone," before heading out. As Nero leaves the van, we get our Lady fanservice moment as she stands up, blanket falls off, and she asks Nico for some clothes.
Gilgamesh fight as usual except that V doesn't cause him to fall over at some point in the fight due to him, uh, digging or something underground, I guess. Lady shows up in the janitor jumpsuit or whatever it is she gets and uses Spiral (or Spiral V2 created by Nico or something just like Spiral called something else in the inevitable Lady/Trish DLC) to shoot out the legs from under Gilgamesh. You get a bit a small line of sass or something ("Guess I'm still waking up. That shot should have done more damage. Well, I'll let you clean up." Shoulders the rifle, gives a cute little wave, and walks back out of view, presumably back to the van.)
Boss finishes up as it is in the game with the goofy scene with Nico at the end.
My take on Vergil is that he doesn't need different weapons, he needs different yamato stances. 5 has glimpses of this, where he brandishes it as a two handed weapon instead of his usual one handed slashes, I'd love to see different approach to his sword fighting, like something based on Kenjutsu
>DLS.jpg
BASED
fuck user you're a genius, I might try drawing this
Thanks.
>Listening to some music that just syncs right to the video
I chuckled heartily, thanks.
>"cat got your tounge"
>shadow raises his head
they shoulda hired you on their writting staff
Can we get a quick rundown on them?
Dante needed to see the extent of vergils trauma I guess?
They just needed an excuse to fight the bosses lol
god that would be sick SUIO STYLE PLEASE
This. It's one of the very few things DmC did right by having Vorgil just use Yamato but utilize it in different ways, I definitely think that should be applied to Vergil as multiple weapons are Dante's thing.
She's gonna make an honest man out of Dante.
Oh fuck that's perfect, his regular shit is basically already Iaido style so it would flow super naturally
It could basically just Balrog up and have stance change on an input so he could keep Beowulf and Force Edge
I meant DSL, fuck me I didn't mean Distribution Layer Switch

You bad boy
This is pretty much how Nero shitposts on Yea Forums

M07
Nero/V Level
V says that he'd like to make a little detour to grab the legendary sword Sparda and it should be nearby as it'll help them take down Urizen. Maybe a line from Nico about how "You can't neglect her!" referring to Red Queen. Happens pretty much just like the mission that we have already in the game in the subway. Level ends after a cooperative battle with Nero and V against a big group of Angelos in the sliding playhouse.
Nero and V share a little moment after where Nero says something like, "You know, V? You aren't so bad after all. You and your little, uh, zoo are pretty good in a fight." V accepts the compliment before saying they should keep moving.
M08
Nero/V Level
V has his little dialogue about the house that was there and they set off to look for Sparda. This is where the "puzzle" with the blood statue happens. Whichever character you're not playing will stand by the statue (Nero looking bored and V flipping through his book) while the player works through the level.
Nero and V fight the group of Nobodies outside the home and when the fight is over they examine the remains of the house. Griffon says he'll take a look around. Sparda is lodged up at the top of the mantle, just over the burnt picture. Nero maybe says something about the house and wondering why Sparda ended up here. V has a coughing fit and Nero says he shouldn't push himself and he should rest. V sits down on a rock or or something, gestures with his cane, and says that he's pretty sure that this is Dante's original home. Nero is surprised and looks at the burned picture.
"And so that must be Dante?"
"One of the children, yes."
Maybe we get a relatively long shot of the burned picture until Griffon interrupts by excitedly telling V that he found Dante and he won't believe how close he is. Dante is in the same kind of weird root embrace that V finds him in the game as is, but at the bottom of the hill behind the house. Mission ends on the shot of Dante out cold.
Good question. I do think the original intention was that he died there, but I think it was just vague enough to be easily retconned.
>Wrong, V told him from the get-go.
I don't think so, he just said that Urizen is Vergil. I think Dante would've also treated V differently if he knew.
>Wouldn't Vergil saying 'I have enough power' make Dante stop that? Didn't Vergil just wait ontop of the tree for their duel to the death?
I think that's pretty accurate. They wanted to settle the score, and Dante thought Vergil was as power-hungry as before.
Why wouldn't he show remorse? He shows emotions in 3? Wouldn't it perfectly in character for him to be disturbed or severly taken aback by the fact that he ripped his own sons arm off? Especially considering that he has learned V's lessons?
I think he's just still too prideful and autistic and probably doesn't see it as a big deal. They also didn't have a lot of time talking, I could imagine him taking a while finding the time to say sorry considering his social skills, especially when it's actually a heartfelt sorry. Admitting you've fucked up and saying sorry can be difficult, especially for socially awkward people.
>It was about Nero shaming Vergil for it/calling him out for dishonoring Sparda's legacy, which that line would more or less do.
That wasn't what mattered to Nero, though, at least not at that point. He just didn't want them to die. I don't think it can get much clearer than "I WON'T LET YOU DIE!".
What's the difference between sparda and rebellion? Seems like sparda is just a clone unless it has increased range or something
There's no profile.
M09
Dante Level
Eva flashback can still be here, but I would clean up the dialogue just a little bit.
Dante wakes up. Does his shadow boxing stretches and throws Griffon again because I love that. He asks V and Nero about what's happened since he's been out and they tell him the whole city has gone to Hell. Dante says he needs to stretch a bit to wake up from his nap and tells V and Nero to go back home, he'll take it from here. Nero is butthurt about the deadweight comment and they have it out a little bit ("Like Hell I'm going home! That bastard took my arm!"), and Dante explains that he can't go kill Urizen; Urizen is Nero's father--or was his father--and Dante isn't about to let Nero kill his own dad. Dante will do it. ("I thought I'd done it twice now. Third time's the charm.")
Nero is stunned and V looks, well, like V usually looks as Dante takes Sparda from Nero and walks off.
Level is very much like M11 in the game, but Dante is making his way toward the tree instead of his childhood home. Same fight with Cavaliere and saving Trish. V also is the one that catches up just like the in game's story, but after he trips over himself and Dante jets off, you get a dark look from V as he stares at Trish's unconscious form.
She's annoying, user. No wonder why he prefers going to hell rather than attending her party.
I'd replace him using the Actual Force Edge with him wielding a Summoned Sword.
Maybe have him learn how to trigger only parts of his body (imagine it like the Devil Bringer but for both hands and feet) to replace Beowulf functionally.
I'd be okay with their movesets coming back but I'd like it if they kept his weapons lore consistent.
apologize RIGHT NOW Vergil!
Holy shit, this game is so fucking good. Somehow it feels wholesome and complete. Tapping for divine dragon seems stupid tho
>Wrong, V told him from the get-go.
He didn't. If he did why would he let V go near urizen?
>Wouldn't Vergil saying 'I have enough power' make Dante stop that? Didn't Vergil just wait ontop of the tree for their duel to the death?
Would he really trust his brother after all the shit he put him through?
>Why wouldn't he show remorse? He shows emotions in 3? Wouldn't it perfectly in character for him to be disturbed or severly taken aback by the fact that he ripped his own sons arm off? Especially considering that he has learned V's lessons?
He expected to die and that was his atonement? I don't remember if V shows remorse about his arm since it was him taking it right. Even if he wasn't his son shouldn't he feel bad as well?
M10
Dante Level
Mission's opening cutscene starts with Nero returning to the van, looking dejected, and he slams the door. Nico shouts something about going easy on her stuff and Lady is in the back, cleaning some handguns, back to Nero. Lady doesn't react. Nero starts talking to Nico about how Dante just told him that the demon they've been gunning for is actually his father. There's some dialogue about how Nero never knew who his father was and how in the world Dante would know that.
"You've heard of it haven't you? The Legend of Sparda." Lady is still cleaning her guns without looking back.
Nero, still seething, says that yeah, he's basically got the fucking thing memorized (a nod to his upbringing in Fortuna). Lady continues on to tell Nero how she found out the legend was true; how she first met Dante--and his brother. Nero is surprised that Dante has a brother, but the surprise is short-lived and he gets furious. "Wait, did you all know he was my father!?" Lady just says that they had their suspicions. (I really hate Trish's "His logic is sound," line.)
Nero continues to say that he doesn't really give a shit if Vergil's his father, he'll still beat him to a pulp. Lady, still cleaning her guns, says something to the effect of "You can't kill your own father. People don't... People don't come back from something like." Then we get that shot of Lady's super sad face, but she's not facing Nero.
Maybe Nero calms down and stares at the floor. Slams his fist against the door and swears. Fade out.
Fade in to Dante entering the tree and saying something about how he's sure him and his brother will have tons of catching up to do.
Dante makes his way through the tree and those blood tubes. The bit where the floor drops out if too many enemies spawn on it is a mandatory fight and Dante drops down into a lower room. As he's fighting his way back up, he fights King Cerberus. Dante talks about how he needs to speed it up and takes off again to get to Urizen.
Because he's the korra of dmc.
Here's your apology - I WON'T LOSE NEXT TIME
M11
Nero/V level
Opening cutscene starts nearly the same as the cutscene that's in the game where V waits for Trish to wake up. Trish wakes up, notes that Dante's left, asks him who Urizen is because she knows for a fact that he isn't a demon, given that she's from the underworld. V is flipping through his book and coldly responds to her by verifying that she's a demon created by Mundus. (Something like "From the underworld--created by Mundus, if I recall correctly.") She doesn't say anything and just measures him up. V goes on to talk about Trish turning on Mundus. ("A demon turning on another demon. Tell me, why would you do something like that?") Another silent stare from Trish.
V closes his book and defuses the situation, by saying that it doesn't really matter, he supposes, and talks about what Urizen is. He asks her if she remembers the Black Angel--another servant of Mundus. Trish will be incredulous that the Black Angel survived after Dante destroyed him. V will correct her that he was beaten, not destroyed and say that he's become different after released from Mundus' control. Trish makes a small mention about the stories about his brother that Dante told her and she can't believe that he would be the demon that sits in the Qliphoth. V mentions, because I don't think it ever comes up in the game, that the Qliphoth's scheduled growth after 1000 years would be a perfect opportunity for the Black Angel to seize the power it always wanted. The power that was promised but never delivered by Mundus.
What's Patty like? I've never seen the anime.
>wielding a summoned sword
weird but I could maybe get behind it, maybe he could pick up Alastor at some point, fuck I just want that weapon to come back
but yeah keeping his lore is fine, I just really liked his "no guns to switch between, just three swords," we just have to expand on his swords a bit
Pretty good. While I personally do like 5's story, I also do think it could have used more fleshing out and especially more character interactions overall.
>this will never be me
Self inserting only does so much.
You suck, Vergil. GO TO HELL
"Patty put me down now! I want to be crazy with my brother!"
"Sorry Dante but it's time for reproduction and Vergil can't be the only one with a child."
"But I don't wanna!!!"
M11 Continued
Nico, Nero, and Lady arrive in the van just then. Trish stands up and throws off her blanket, ass to the screen, tits to the van, so that Nico will have a funny reaction to her nude body through the windshield, before generating her usual black tubetop and pants. Trish says that they should stop wasting time and catch up to Dante because she doubts that he can take Urizen alone.
You get to choose between Nero and V as the player makes their way through the tree from a different path. Nico just crashes the van through the side of it and the group, Trish and Lady included, set off toward the throne room again.
Throughout the level, Trish and Lady show up, once apiece, to destroy an out of reach blood clot for the player before making some silly quip and leaving off out of the level. There isn't a boss, just a big fight against some tough mobs that's a cooperative fight with Nero and V together.
The end cutscene is Nero, V, Trish, and Lady peeking in the room and noting that Dante hasn't made it yet and that Urizen is alone. V asks how they can be sure Dante hasn't already lost and Trish tells him that she knows he's not the type to just lay down and die. Just then, Dante appears further back, dropping from the ceiling or cutting his way out of a blood tube, complaining about the blood on his coat.
>Nero is surprised that Dante has a brother, but the surprise is short-lived and he gets furious.
A problem right here, dude. He KNEW Dante has a brother since DMC4.

Nero/V/Dante Level - Dante Level
Player gets to pick between any of the three characters for the fight. Depending on who they pick, they get some extra flavor dialogue during the fight. The other characters are NPCs during the fight and Trish and Lady are also involved in the fight. Urizen buckles quickly to the combined attack of all 5 devil hunters and has to stand up. That fight turns into Urizen standing and he does some giant "ENOUGH" attack/shockwave that knocks everyone but Dante out, or close enough to out where they can't continue the fight. Nero throws himself in front of an attack aimed at V and deflects it, getting thrown against a wall for his troubles. V looks stunned that someone risked their life for him.
Dante continues the fight against Standizen until he wins. There's no SDT here. Same series of events happens where Urizen buckles and can't believe he's been beaten, but the tree has finished sucking the blood from Redgrave and the surrounding area and the fruit is ready. Urizen beats a retreat with Yamato crystal and the gang experience the giant tree rumblings. They don't know exactly what is happening but they can tell the Qliphoth is shifting.
M13
Nero/V/Dante Level
Pretty much keep M13 from the game intact here since it's one of the best missions in the game for pure co-op multiplayer. Trish and Lady set off too, in case they get playable DLC.
The group just descends further into the tree in pursuit of Urizen.
I wish there had been more of Trish/Lady being cameo'd honestly
I don't want to SJW out but the two main/only badass chicks of DMC being totally relegated to "stuck in demons haw haw" status only to be shoved out naked was in pretty shit taste
hopefully if they do get a DLC campaign it'll be all them kicking tons of ass
She's just a standard little loli tsundere. The anime is beyond disappointing, it's more like a bad drama than an anime about DMC
What the fuck was her problem?
I want to fuck that fanfic
>I think he's just still too prideful and autistic and probably doesn't see it as a big deal.
If he actually changed as a character, wouldn't it be showcased here? Why wouldn't they let Vergil say something to reflect that then?
Are we to believe that Vergil changed as a character without actually making him act any different?
>If he did why would he let V go near urizen?
Didn't he assume he was going to kill his demonic part himself? Didn't he trust V because he didn't kill him with Sparda?
If Dante didn't know V was Vergil, then why would V suddenly wish for Dante not to exist and almost impale him with Sparda while he was KO'd?
>Would he really trust his brother after all the shit he put him through?
Isn't it flat out said his brother is a loved one in 3 and therefor Dante cares about him? Wouldn't the chance for redemption at least make Dante pause and ask him if he is serious?
I need to stop posting, thinking about this games writing just frustrates me because of how bad it is
She wanted that sweet Sparda's blood inside of her.
M14
Nero/Dante Level
V coughs a bit and says he'll stay and rest for a moment and catch up to the others later. Nero and Dante continue on through the tree. Their descent, side by side and wrapped around each other like the subway, is treated like a race between the two. As the two go deeper and deeper, the texture and color of the tree changes to resemble what the tree looks like in the current game for M18 - M20 as the fruit has absorbed blood and energy most notably from the areas closest to it.
The end of the level is a big mob of high level enemies. Afterward, there is a stylish cutscene with Nero and Dante fighting back to back, weaving in and out of enemy attacks, counting their demon kills aloud. Nero loses by a few. Dante points out how good he's gotten, but he could use just a bit more practice. Then he smiles and says something like, "Ah, perfect." and looks past Nero. Nero begins to wonder what he means when he has to quickly deflect an attack. Maybe it's like a Fury that's attacking him. Dante laughs and says he'll go on ahead and jumps away into the bowels of the tree. Nero curses at Dante as he engages the group of enemies.

That's fucking it, I went itemless in every other DMD but I'm popping the gold orb. M15
V Level
V watches Dante and Nero leave. Griffon hovers around him and asks, as soon as the other two are out of sight, if it's a good idea to let them off the leash like that. V can wryly quote some Blake here. Maybe a line from "The Dog".
Before saying that they have something else to attend to as there's another player stirring about that needs to be taken care of before it becomes an actual problem. V moves off in a different direction and descends into the tree, the scenery being primarily that flourescent yellow color the secret area in M13 is.
V finds a vastly stronger Nidhogg who has been nourished by the tree and by burrowing much closer to the fruit. The boss battle could be changed in a variety of ways; more tentacle things, Nidhogg undergoes his split early in the fight, he summons Empusa during the fight as they have been basically indoctrinated by him to harves materials for him to absorb, now that he's in the tree, he can burrow in and out at will and pop out all over the arena, etc. But it's a rematch for V and he's serious about exterminating Nidhogg now.
At the end of the fight, Malphas shows up and V barely seems to register her presence as he finishes off Nidhogg. She greets him fondly and says he's done a good job of shepherding Sparda's kin to the fruit and that his father will be proud. V twists his cane to still Nidhogg and cause him to dissolve. Malphas says that maybe V's father will reward him with a stronger body. V holds his arm out for Griffon to perch and says that he's fine with the one he has. He begins to leave as Malphas cackles about it and says that maybe they can even see about getting V a new pet. V pauses and says something dismissive, but warns Malphas to not underestimate the Sparda's blood as he's seen it firsthand. V says something like, "They are full of surprised, mother." Ominous emphasis on the "mother". Then V takes off with Shadow and Griffon in tow.
???
So how you do you get Vergil sitting in the van?
Profit
I have tons of them
damn user, how big its your folder?
It was disappointing that they didn't play a bigger role, though I can't say it was a surprise after 4. I would love for them to get a campaign.
Are we to believe that Vergil changed as a character without actually making him act any different?
I would argue that the fact that he actually gave up on his pursuit of power and accepted Nero's plea to stop fighting is him acting different. I wouldn't expect someone as socially retarded as him to instantly change his demeanor.
M16
Dante Level
Dante drops into the dreamscape where his childhood home looms in the background behind the tree bearing the fruit. They have their little conversation that they have in the game, but this time as Urizen reachs for the tree, Dante shoots his hand away and says that he's going to have to save that snack for after they have it out.
Fight starts with him still wearing all the tree shit all over him. After his first 25% health, he sheds the tree material and transitions to his form in the game as is. He has all the lines about him being butthurt that Dante is so strong despite not having sacrificed anything. Dante still hits him back with the lines about how power is a choice to just protect the things you care about by fighting like Hell.
Dante strikes the finishing blows and the crystal shatters, Yamato's form restored as it flies through the air and embeds itself in the ground, still sheathed.
Dante has his sword stuck deep in Urizen's main eye when there's a gunshot as Dante dodges away. Nero has arrived and the barrels on his gun are smoking. He says that he already told Dante, neither him or his brother are dying today. They get into an argument about how Vergil won't ever stop unless he does what needs to be done. He doesn't seem the slightest bit happy about doing it either.
The rest of the gang shows up at this point, Trish, Lady, and V drop in.

>I would argue that the fact that he actually gave up on his pursuit of power and accepted Nero's plea to stop fighting is him acting different. I wouldn't expect someone as socially retarded as him to instantly change his demeanor.
Lets be honest, the only reason why Vergil and Dante want to fight to the death there is because they wanted to put in fanservice, but they also wanted it to be a serious fight so they put aside that logic for the moment and just forget about V's character development, at least for the moment so we could have the fight that fans have been yearning for.
Its just shit writing.

Urizen sees the motley crew assembled and chokes out some words about how he's given up everything for power and in the end, it got him nowhere. He has nothing left to protect. He stares at the illusion of his childhood home. There is a crack of humanity as Vergil tells Dante to kill him for all the crimes he's committed.
Nero, seething, says something like, "You don't get off that easy, asshole. You've got a lot to make up for, so I'm dragging your ass out of here. Demon king or not, you're coming with me." He approaches Urizen and grabs Yamato. V looks kind of shocked about the whole exchange. "This thing shut off my arm when I still had it, let's see what it can do." He stabs Urizen in the chest with it and watches as there's a blinding light. Vergil, in his normal form, falls in a heap on the ground while a giant shade that looks like a more sinister and corrupted version of Nelo Angelo still stands.
Dante says something like, "Well, I'll be damned." Nero and Dante prepare to attack the shade, the manifestation of Vergil's obssession with power, when some ominous laughing is heard. It's the cloaked figure from the beginning of the game standing near the tree and holding the fruit.
Yep
If I end up doing it I'll post it to the DMC thread on

w/Dante, but technically works too
If I am not mistaking, you have to beat the game on SoS.
Nono I bet the cloaked figure is Mundus, isn't it?
Didn't someone post his entire folder on MEGA?
M16 Continued
The face is darkened by the hood, but the three glowing red eyes, crackling with energy, shine out from under. The hood is pulled back to reveal Mundus, looking very much like the initial marble statue of himself from DMC1. He talks about how happy he is to see all of Sparda's blood in one spot, and they've even neutered Vergil for him, as he's basically incapacited on the ground after having his soul shorn in half.
He thanks V for gathering everyone, when suddenly a lightning bolt zips at him and he effortlessly dodges. V has sicced Griffon on him. Mundus says something about how it's cute that he's grown a heart, he figured it would happen, he looks at Trish, but it's too late. He chows down on the demon fruit and turns into his giant godly self again, but probably with some kind of "evil" accents to show he's augmented. First thing he does is destroy the illusionary home of Dante and Vergil and laugh about how much he loved doing it the first time.
Cue boss fight as Dante with Nero and V as NPCs. It's an unwinnable boss fight as Mundus cannot be lowered past a certain health threshold. The group has to beat a retreat after they realize they cannot beat Mundus. As they run, Nico shows up and everyone piles into the van as the illusion world shatters with Mundus looming on the horizon, his three red eyes glowing.
What is the wheel behind Nero supposed to be? Everything else I can figure out
I'm so glad this game exists. Sometimes I still can't believe it came out and it's as good as it is. A game that still carries the same sensibilities that I haven't seen since the PS2 days, at least when it concerns a big budget title.
I wish we hadn't moved to so many scripted sequences and hold-your-hand moments in vidya. Games like this are a reminder of what it could be like.

V Level
The group is driving frantically away, with Nero shouting about who the Hell was that and demanding who V really is. Any explanation is cut short as Nico swerves the van to an abrupt stop as they realize that the Qliphoth has been taken off into the atmosphere and they're super high up. Big pan shot for effect. Now out of the tree at least, they figure they have a moment to catch their breath and they pile out of the van. Vergil remains inside, exhausted, while Dante watches him carefully.
They have it out in a big argument outside where V reveals he's Mundus' son. Says he was an attempt to recreate the strength of Dante and Vergil after Mundus saw how difficult it was to kill the sons of Sparda, even as young children. As an experiment to gain data, Mundus seduced a woman who was deeply invested into the occult and magic with promises of power and sorcery and V was the result. After he was born, he was deemed a failure, but Mundus felt a strange kinship for him, so kept him alive. The woman's faith and service was rewarded with ascension to full-fledged demonhood. Dante walks out of the van and says he thought he recognized V's pets.
V goes onto explain that he's seen the kind of chaos and death his father has caused, and after seeing the party, especially Nero and Trish, rise above their demonic heritage and the legacies of their fathers, he's decided he won't be a pawn for Mundus anymore. Nero is still pretty pissed and looks like he's about to deck V, but Trish intervenes and says that they should trust him. She knows what it's like to be controlled by Mundus.
that's still like two, two and a half vergils at least
what the fuck
big fucking mood my friend, I kept thinking that even as I was playing and finishing the game, couldn't believe DMC5 got made
nice, i'll be on the lookout
>Didn't he assume he was going to kill his demonic part himself? Didn't he trust V because he didn't kill him with Sparda?
Remember how Dante said he owed V a favor. That was his favor to V. V lied to dante saying that he wanted to stab him so he would wake up but at that moment he felt his past creep up on him.
>If Dante didn't know V was Vergil, then why would V suddenly wish for Dante not to exist and almost impale him with Sparda while he was KO'd?
What does that have to do with Dante knowing who V is? Dante isn't a mind reader.
V wanted to impale dante because HE IS STILL VERGIL, he still hated dante deep down.
>Isn't it flat out said his brother is a loved one in 3 and therefor Dante cares about him? Wouldn't the chance for redemption at least make Dante pause and ask him if he is serious?
Yes but that doesn't mean dante should forgive him. Vergil hasn't given any indication that he changed though, dante attacked him first when he first merged and saw him for the first time.
do you have the unga bunga nero one that says something about two "bulits"?
like pic related
M17 Continued
There's just a look of understanding between V and Trish before he continues to talk about Mundus. He says that they were unable to destroy Mundus because he's invested his power into three other demons to make himself effectively immortal unless they're also destroyed. He points with his cane toward Vergil, says he was one, but imagines that Mundus' power must be in the demonic shade split from him. Another in an imperfect copy of himself, and another in his most loyal servant, V's own mother, Malphas.
V says he'll take care of Malphas. Vergil stumbles into the doorframe of the van and says he'll take care of his other half; he was Mundus' puppet long enough, swayed by empty promises of power. Nero tells him like Hell he will, he'll take the Nelo Angelo shade. Dante mugs a bit and says he guesses he has the Mundus copy--it'll be a good warmup for the real thing. Trish and Lady say they'll stay behind to watch Vergil, Lady jokes that she'll make sure he doesn't raise another tower while they're gone.
The group sets off in their different directions into the tree.
V lands in what is essentially that dark realm in M13. She taunts him by saying that he's playing at being a human despite what she and his father are and that he's useless without his pets. He goes through the boss rush and gets his summons back. At the end of it, he says that he's had enough of both his mother and father and he's striking out on his own. Maybe he quotes some more Blake here:
"Then every man of every clime,
That prays in his distress,
Prays to the human form divine
Love Mercy Pity Peace."
V ends up defeating his mother, drops a little one-liner about saying farewell to her, and then heads bask in the direction he came from toward the van.
Eh, kind of a weak joke considering Dante actually has motorcycles for swords now
Slapping an entire diesel engine on/near the hilt would've worked better and been visually communicated better
still good tho
Damn, now I see why aids really fucked his shit up
the joke is that they're spanish knockoffs
>Mundus's son
NOPE.EXE I'M OUT IT'S TOO DUMB EVEN FOR ME AND DMC
I wouldn't say so. Dante wants to fight him because he thinks he's gonna keep doing bad shit. Vergil is still somewhat resentful of Dante and his prideful and competitive streak probably also came back with the merger. While Vergil did realize his crimes and did give up on his mindless pursuit of power, he's still mostly the same stubborn, proud autist.
Why the FUCK there are more Vergil monsters than Dante's?
M18
Nero Level
Nero finds himself dropped into the cathedral from the beginning of DMC4. He fights his way through it and sees that he's in a twisted version of Fortuna. The cracked sky effect is also present. As he moves through the streets fighting demons, Kyrie shows up in the reflections of the windows in the buildings and the water, talking about how it would be so easy for Nero to just join Mundus. Mundus gave his father power, and she knows that Nero also has the same longing in him. Nero is dimissive and very obviously not buying it. Kyrie's image and voice gives way to Mundus' glowing red eyes as he tries hard and hard to tempt Nero, saying that he can make sure nothing ever happesn to Kyrie.
Nero makes his way through the twisted version of Fortuna and confronts the Nelo Angelo, which solidifies into a demon that looks like a mixture of Nelo Angelo and Credo (It would be a fun bossfight, obviously). Mundus talks about how Nero can't protect anything as he's only human. He couldn't protect Credo and he can't protect Kyrie. You get the "fuck you" DT moment here as Nero shows that he's accepting of his Sparda bloodline through Vergil and resolves to protect the things he cares about. There's banter about how power means nothing if you throw away what's worth protecting for it and he dispatches the shade.
He makes some comments about how maybe his father will be less of an asshole after all this and heads back to the van.

Dante Level
Dante finds himself on Mallet Island, but with the telltale cracks in the sky. He laughs and notes the deja vu. It's a shorter direct path version of it though and he moves through the rooms fighting demons (there aren't any DMC1 Mannequins or anything). Small RE style fetch "puzzle" happens that Dante makes jokes about. After moving through the island, he enters the Mundus throne room to find a much more grotesque version of Mundus, like the version he fought in the sewers in DMC1, positioned on his throne. There's a crack at the fact that he's not much of a looker. Outside the throne room isn't Mallet Island, it's Dante's childhood home again in its grassy field. Mundus gestures toward it and sets it ablaze and laughs at his own actions. He taunts Dante about no matter how strong he gets, he can't undo what happened that day or what happened to his brother. Dante makes talk about how he wasn't strong enough to protect a damn thing back then, but he'll do it now. And then cracks wise that Mundus must keep bringing up that day because it was the last time he ever was close to winning.
We get the SDT unlock here as an analogue to Majin form. Dante dispatches the Mundus copy and goes to leave as the illusion shatters around him.

V - Nero - Dante Level
The gang meets up back at the van and confirm that they've all taken care of their demons. They look up at the "top", or bottom of the tree I guess, to see a big ominous storm looming. Dante says that they might as well get this over with and starts heading off when Vergil stumbles after him saying that he's not sitting this one out. He's not going to let Dante showboat like this. Dante gets serious and tells him to just rest and to let him take care of it for once, they'll have all the time in the world for their sparring after they've finally ridden themselves of their family's old enemy. Vergil relents, a first for him. Lady makes some goofy look and says that maybe they got the wrong Vergil. He shoots her a glare. He tells Dante to come back alive as no one else can beat him, Vergil has that right. Dante laughs it off and says that yeah, they've got the right one.
V, Nero, and Dante approach the top of the tree and see Mundus seated on a giant throne looking pensively at the world. Dante, Nero and V all get a little stinger here about how the party's over (V will probably say something about how he can't let his father do this). Mundus turns to them and says that he'll finally be rid of the accursed Sparda blood on this day and then he'll be free to rule.
Big multiphase boss fight where V goes first. Mundus probably causes some huge explosion and deformation of the tree so that the three are separated in different laters and Mundus is a giant monstrosity in the middle. V fights on his level, does his health bar of damage, then it shifts to Nero, who fights on his level, does his health bar of damage, then it ends with Dante. After he does his health bar of damage, Mundus says he's not going to underestimate Dante this time and goes all out, charging some big super move.
M20 Continued
Cue the big super move being interrupted by a sword slash. Close up of Yamato being sheathed. Vergil has shown up and he joins the fray, saying he's been looking for a round two against Mundus after all this time. The last phase is just a victory lap where V, Nero, Dante, and Vergil all have infinite DT and even Mundus isn't that much of a threat for the four of them combined.
You get your "Don't you dare say it!" "Jackpot." moment as Dante finishes off Mundus. There's lots of wailing and gnashing of teeth on his end.
After he's done and put away, for good this time, Vergil notes that the Qliphoth roots still need to be severed. He will go to the Underworld with Yamato and do it while the rest should stem the tide of demons flooding from the tree. Nero protests and says that they just can't take off like that before Dante says that he's going to go too to look after Nero's old man. Vergil pledges to come back as they have a lot of catching up to do, then him and Dante take off.
Credits happen where Nero and V fight demons in Redgrave with Nico shouting encouragement and V getting into it a little bit more than he has all game, making banter with Nero. Trish and Lady are off in the distance doing their own fight. Everyone looks up after they're done to see the Qliphoth decay and die, just as it is in the main game. Dante and Vergil have their friendly competition in the underworld.
Credits roll.
>Vergil sitting back
Now you're losing me
>Nero's gun has 4 barrels
I love alla this
Fixed the quality drop at the beginning, should be fine now.
The only reason Vergil keeps bringing up the fact that he's "technically" the big brother is that he's the little bro on the inside. And Dante never looked out for him like he always wanted and needed
Epilogue
Epilogue is unlocked after the credits roll. After cutting the roots, Dante and Vergil talk about how they should be getting back since the kid'll probably be worried. Vergil says that now that the Qliphoth is gone, there's no rush. They can settle their score.
It's just the Vergil fight, but in Hell. Instead of getting THE FINAL JUDGEMENT DRAWETH NIGH if you lose and don't continue, it pans up to a "0-1". There is a running tally for whether Dante or Vergil wins whenever the player plays the mission.
the cavaliere, i just shortened it because i dont know how its spelled and i dont want to look it up
THE MOTORCYCLE SWORDS
Someone post DT Vergils FAT ASS please
Heaven and Hell
I love Vergil so much, I'm sobbing. Why do I go on?
>Why does Nero get his DT in a phonecall, instead of something like him getting stabbed by Yamato with Vergil taunting him, and a flashback?
Nero, being more human than Dante or Vergil, gets his DT from a very human emotion: Desire to protect his family. This kind of thing is one of the reasons humans are strong, even stronger than demons sometimes, in the DMC universe.
Oh gotcha
Alright fine fuck you you redeemed yourself after Mundus's son bullshit
>mfw the vergil fight is dmd-only and selectable from the main menu and you just sit there and grind it out
>now the score's 1 to 24!.jpg
holy FUCK captcha fuck off I've been here all day I'm not a robot christ
Holy shit son
Since we have motorcycle chainsaws, car that split into 2 tower shields when?
now someone post DT neros fat pussy
Love is the ultimate source of power in DMC.
How do you get this blorb in chapter 16?
Where the griffon memes at boys?
Imagine getting clamped by those thighs
Apology for poor english
when were you when rebellion dies?
I was sat at devil may cry eating qlipoth pizza when fred rang
>devil may cry
>rebellion is kill
>no
and you?????
Stinger off, double jump, sky star?
Dante is right. Olives on pizza is disgusting
Stinger off ledge > air hike > sky star
I want to see his new DT soon, we only have the artwork for it
No, post the DUMMY THICC version in dmc5
Jump over to it. In DT, you can glide if you hold jump after jumping and you have 3 trickster air dashes.
Dante literally states in 4 that demons don't have enough power because they don't have a heart.
>inb4 Vergil takes that literally and starts eating human hearts
DT to get over without even thinking
>still no Yea Forums sings for submhuman or crimson cloud
I hope they editor guy comes back
equip dsd and dt trickster so you can jump 4 times and 3 sky stars
stinger off the edge then gunslinger float the rest of the way
i want a female character that has a whip-blade as her signature weapon like ivy from soul calibur.
>crimson cloud
Boomer edition, from THAT thread.
Rawhide
>"You've heard of it haven't you? The Legend of Sparda." Lady is still cleaning her guns without looking back.
This is some fucking fanservice overload.
Is this from that DMCV themed restaurant?
Seems kinds pitiful for a Dante themed pizza.
>No
Okay sir
wait what? did I miss something?
baste
> And Dante never looked out for him like he always wanted and needed
>flashes back to 3 ending where he slits dante's hand after reaching out to him
Literally surpasses Kyrie's ass in every way. Dante would be checking that ass out if he didn't know who it belonged to. The fattest ass in all of dmc
yeah but rawhide only has like 3 moves.
i want the complete package.
What a disgusting pizza
Yes
I popped a semi ngl, especially if they can get it voiced just like the opening of DMC3
I'll make a compilation
