How can one doll be so based?
based
you could easily say ALL these things about LETs PLAY-goraptor
What happened to these 2000s Newgrounds flash animations?
Why does no one make them anymore?
laziness and low reward.
>Arin basically lost all of his motivation for animation and now is a husk of his former self
>Kirbopher is actively working on the industry and got into notable VA roles
Funny how things are huh?
It feels like Flash completely died after 2011. It was in its heyday from 2001-early 2010, and then it just faltered away and died.
I blame the usual suspects (smartphones and social media).
Modern era Youtube among other shit. What's the point in putting actual effort and passion into an animation when you can put your outlined, blank white calarts OC with 5 individual frames, call it animated on a blank background and get the same if not better outcome with the ability to shit a constant stream of content out? The algorithm change youtube did a while back practically killed independent animators and those that stuck around have either moved on or became patreon shills. People used to do this type of shit for fun, but if you're not making money off it, they don't see a point in doing it at all.
>Imagine writing essays on why a cartoon on the internet is shitty compared to your own cartoons on the internet.
Arin is the dobson of gaming; completly unremarkable, but was undeservedly popular for like half a year and now everyone uses him as a boogieman
Sometimes I'm watching YouTube on my PC and my phone at the same time. A different video in each. Anyone else does this?
Most just make animations on YouTube instead
>calarts
Theodd1sout isn't calarts you complete and utter retard
Real answer is that Youtube killed newgrouds so all of the animators went there, and then youtube changed its algorithm and basically made it impossible for cartoons to show up on the frontpage or in the recommendations. They still exist, but they're really hard to find now
>Missing the point this much
