It's hard because the movesets of enemies include a lot of bullshit and the damage numbers/estus heal values are incredibly punishing, not because it lacks bullshit.

That ogre at the start one or two shots you with every single ability and it's harder to defend against his hyper high tracking grabs than anything in a souls game really.

Dark Souls was designed to be "cheesed" though. It's supposed to be a brutal test of cunning and resourcefulness. Autists who turned the game into "muh honorable PvP" and "muh epic anime rollfest bossfights" are the ones who got the series wrong.

So i just beat Lady butterfly and honestly she wasn't that bad but i have only one problem with the game...why does every fucking boss fight or even mini-boss fight take so goddamn long, i literally keep hearing clang clang for like 10 min from all the parrying shits getting annoying, does the dmg scale up late-game or do the enemies also become tankier so you end up dealing the same amount and just clanging in every bigger fight for 10 minutes?
