Is it REALLY worth $150?
Is it REALLY worth $150?
Yes
if the deadzones on the original xbone controller bothers you a lot, then yes.
Fuck no, it's the same shit and gonna die just the same.
God no. I love mine to bits but I'd never pay full price for it. I think I got mine for like $70 or something.
what the fuck is that not-dpad
Hurr hurr
You can change it afaik
In every way. I just wish there were more than 2 presents to switch to. Otherwise I think this is the perfect controller that will never be beaten. Unless it gets something like HD rumble.
I used to know these wannabe hardcore players who used to buy that scuff shit controllers for like $250 and this is supposed to be way better for half the price so I'd guess it's worth it if you specifically need these extra buttons. Just use a normal controller like a normal person you can buy an xbox controller for like $30-50.
My gf bought me one last year
Definitely worth it, now I got the BEAST controller for my BEAST chadbox
Hell yes. It’s the only controller I use on PC now.
>He didn't customize his Elite to a Lunar White color scheme
Get on my level.
What even is this and why is it so expensive?
If it didn't have so many qc issues then yes. As it stands, bestbuy (and maybe Costco) is the only sane way to purchase this. Pay the minor warranty fee and it's basically a no questions asked return when you run into the qc issues
Best controller made to date. A better version of a scuff or razr controller
Using it to play dmc now it's been pretty worth
How many games utilize the extra trigger buttons on the side?
>micro usb
>worth $150
You can map them
They're mainly meant to stand in for the face buttons so you don't have to take your thumb off the stick. But you can also map them on PC.
is your mom REALLY worth $150?
I've had two (one of them was a free replacement) and both have had their rubber grips completely fucked up after 1.5 years. My hands don't even sweat and I don't do anything weird, they just break. I don't think they are worth it unless extra buttons are a must for you for whatever reason.
>Still has a left analog stick
Fuck no
No. I bought it, I like it but $150 is a lot. Most of this controller is what the stock bone pad should have been (good build quality, rubber back) the extras are not worth $80
Something that is supposed to be useful for one type of game, forget which, is correct it comes with a regular d-pad that can be swapped out.
>taking apart a controller that's more fragile than a dying flower petal
it's great for DMC if you want to charge Nero's gun. Just map it to the bottom right paddle.
am I the only fucker who things the original cheap wired USB xbox 360 controller is pure kino?
>b-but the dpad sucks
no it doesnt
No controller short of a remade Steel Batallion controller for next-gen systems would be worth it but the Elite controller is definitely a great controller.
Still use my 360 controller. Don't see any issue with it after I got some new china batteries. If it dies proper I'll buy a Bone controller, but no reason as long as it works. It's pretty much perfect.
Bought one for DMC style switching, mapped dpad to the paddles and it’s great. Still incredibly expensive but I have money to spare, and hate clawgripping. I like the more ergonomic left stick, and the rest of the controller so there’s no question. What’s neat is that since the paddles just input other buttons, you can use it with stuff like the xb1 to ds4 converter, so I can use it in bloodborne, not just on pc/xbox
It's a hunk of plastic with some shitty pcb inside. You decide.
>still no bluetooth
Absolutely not.
I own one.
Absolutely not.
Any revision would have because I think the revised X1S controller came out after this came out
The paddles are amazing. I hate playing without them now.
