The system changes just gave a lot to sword characters in general. Then on top of some of the legitimate buffs they got, just took them to outer space. Even Cloud who got "nerfed" from 4 to Ult still is really good due to just how the overall systems benefit him while Bayonetta who also got "nerfed" from 4 to Ult doesn't feel that strong now. This feels like a sword Smash game.
