Why haven't you played this game?
Why haven't you played this game?
Fucking final boss took me 40 minutes to beat.
Also Tate fucking sucks as a boss mechanic.
There are a lot of games I haven't played
Got a really nice copy for 5 bucks from my LGS, have been wanting to play it since release but never did.
I haven't played it in ages but I only really remember the last couple of bosses being a pain to tate
There's no HD port and my toaster probably wouldn't emulate it at a solid 60.
mom got me a gamecube and not a PS2
The HP draining mechanic seems unfun.
The final boss is the worst because he keeps teleporting. So even if you Tate all his faggot cards perfectly, you still have to be lucky that he teleports right in front of the last one. If he didn't, you just Tate'd 8 cards for nothing.
It doesn't help that the cards give you health. So you'll spend a lot of time just running after him, never dying because there's so much health.
i have it was fun go to the last boss without the ninja powers
I have.
Your mom sucks as a boss mechanic lol.
>SHINOLI
what the heck did they mean by this
Nightshade is better
I CAN'T BEAT 6-A
WHY DO I SUCK SO MUUUUUUUUUUUCH
It says Shino6i dumb frogposter.
I played it when I was 12 or so, got to the final boss and gave up. FUCK THAT FAGGOT
I did and it was fucking great
Can't emulate, couldn't find a copy anywhere, no HD rerelease or PC version.
Had to stop after the first 1/3 of the game because my dumb monkey brain couldn't handle the camera any more than that. Game itself plays excellently otherwise.
I did. I quite like it.
I have. It's one of my favorite games of all time.
This and DMC3 are my favorite PS2 games.
>no HD rerelease
There is one on PS3 via the Playstation Store, which is closing soon IIRC.
Close this thread, is just clickbait
My brother a beat this game on hard mode and he has unlock everything. Yes the game is good.
I have it physical but just haven't got round to it
It seemed ubiquitous at the time but kind of obscure now. Great game. The last time I played it tho I was annoyed that it had no option to change the x axis. Looking right by pushing left on the stick never clicks with me.
But I have. And kunoichi or whatever it’s called here in burger land
Man where the fuck is this series?
Good shit.
btw this was the first instance I ever saw of reversed video game censorship; where the game was neutered in Japan instead of the West. When you tate in the JPN version, the enemies just drop dead instead of falling apart in bloody chunks. I still am unable to get rid of the PS2 The Best version I bought because of this.
Give it a try, my toaster actually ran it 100% fine, it's not a demanding game.
I couldn’t get past those fucking dogs
Japan is very iffy when it comes to gore. Shit's very common with games there.
i have it, but never finished it
Gore launches a game's rating up faster than bare titties. It nets a Z rating and at the time (And hell, even nowadays) Z ratings can be a death sentence for titles there.
What do you even mean by this? PS2 games on PS3 are upscaled?
You're supposed to beat it on very hard for the real ending, retard.
They're upscaled, yeah, but there's typically some light performance issues. It's one of the PS2 classic titles you can buy on PS3's store. It's the only immediately accessible option either way.
Because i tried it and it's not that good at all. Also the PS3 version literally has graphic glitches that make it look like it's killing your graphics card.
>9 years ago I beat it on Hard and got all coins on Hard because I wanted to unlock Musashi
>pretty much mastered the game and it was piss easy for me
>played for first time in 7 years a couple years ago
>couldn't get past the fucking butterfly boss
It's one of my favorite action games on the console, surpassed only by DMC1 and Godhand. Nightshade was pretty good too.
I do think the final boss is the worst boss-fight in the game, unfortunately. As you note, he poses very little threat, but he's extremely hard to kill and there's a luck element to it. Most of the other boss battles are great, though.
