Everyone download the Clan Quest mod. It adds a brand new hub, lets you work for andrei instead of fight him and become a sabat , has fully voiced good quests you can diablerize people and there's 3 new endings, actually worth playing,

I actually did. I haven't played through this game in 5+ years.
Can you use this mod with the unofficial patch? I think I going to play with some kind of mod. Maybe I should not use the unofficial patch? I haven't kept up with any of this.

Is it normal that some dialog lines are noticably quieter than others? Also my game seems to crash randomly, even with unofficial patch.

At the time it was released, sure

yes and anyone who says otherwise is a pleb. it flows perfectly into vtmb if you want to play them back to back.

No, not really. It has some cool ideas like the changing of time periods and the multiplayer but it's a hassle to play these days. I tried. The camera is absolute shit and you can never position it in a way which you can actually see where you're going very well. I hate it, I don't know how I did back in the day. All the immersion for this game would probably come from playing in the multiplayer with experienced players and guy running it.

Reinstalled last night, never really tried a social focused character before so I think I'll give that a shot

already replayed it like a month ago, thus I willed bloodlines 2 into existence. thank (or blame) me later

Which unofficial patch do I need for the mod?

I've gotten to the second hub before. But it was with the plus patch and I was the clan that could use dominate on dialogue which was cool.

Here are my questions, is the plus patch really that bad for a first time run through?
is stealth at all useful story wise, like avoiding combat changes quest outcomes, etc
Is it viable to play a character that just murders everyone? What I mean is in zones without the police like the city areas and where combat isn't aloud, can I just attack everyone to resolve quests?

With the plus patch and dominate in dialogue, would I get the same options more or less with persuasion? Are there any major differences with the different dialogue skills or will they also allow me to bypass quests on some form. Like, taking points on seduce won't give me extra quests that persuade would. I'm not trying to minimax, just wondering if it's an idea to do multiple runs with different dialogue skills
