Mount and blade

what's the best way of making lots of gold other than raiding and looting towns and whatnot?

bannerlord when?

Win tournaments by betting on yourself every round. Kill sea raiders and sell their loot. There are some profitable trade routes, too. In the long-term your goal should be to buy a business in each city (focus on greatest profit rather than cost-efficiency since that's better in the long run).

Selling slaves is probably the best way to make money before you have businesses in every town

by looting and raiding
you could try farming sea raiders for some cash, but you need a blunt weapon and a fuckton of luck for that

CTRL + X

Buy low sell high
There are guides out there, but personally I just loot villages and sell their stuff haha, fuck being honorable, this is war

Bannerlord never.

if i attack caravans in the middle of no where and kill everyone do i still loose reputation with that faction?

yes

yes
don't do that without mamlukes or swadian knights

Best way without upsetting anyone is raising a slaver army and maxing your prisoner skill.

The ultimate best way to make money is to own a town but if you're not there yet then be a tourney whore. If you max bet each round and win you walk away with 4180 each time but you do have to bet if you want to make money since iirc the winnings from the tournament alone without bets is just 200.

This.
Having fiefs this operate almost at constant losses or being sequestered both by random chance is not fun.
Feels shitty to cheat but I want to enjoy my time besieging castles and clubbing heads in with my maul- not playing s round of Tourney every time I log in.

>full of broken thoughts I cannot repair starts playing

why aren't you raiding every town user? that's the fun thing to do

>tfw lead a very successful life as a combat specced monster fighting under my liege
>cocksucker denies me a castle my personal army took independently during a campaign
>keep it anyway and the game becomes completely different
I love this shit, I'm gonna get my asshole fingered like a little boy

if you have enough peasants defending the town, they won't attack you

I always end up splintering away from ungrateful kings and becoming a based small army of elite soldiers that all other kingdoms fear and hate

*farts in your direction*

Just don't sell them to (((Ramun))), he only pays 50 for any slave when you can get hundreds from elite troops.

does that mean using club weapons to capture people or is there other ways of getting slaves?

Being able to levy recruits is nice. I just raid khergit and vaegir towns because their troops suck anyway.

I thought he bought them for 100? Either way looters only sell for 32 to brokers, so the best way to do it is sell them to Ramun, but save faction troops for brokers.
Any weapon that does b damage works.

get a practice lance and just CL damage them away
mamlukes also carry blunt weapons so you can use them in your slave driver army

There are a few good trading rings which generate heaps of cash and are good at fastforwarding time, which generates lots of money out of your businesses and exp out of your trainers. Raiding is good too but a bit of a pain in the ass in the long run when your realm conquers those lands and you'll need to get conscripts there later, as well as dishonor which is not good if you want to be a king or have other lords like you

this
hire manhunters and make them chadhunters

Ransoming soldier’s is by far the best quick cash. Selling their items is also good movie. Try one of the mods that has inventory management, really streamlines that aspect of the game. Your companions pick up enemy loot and sell it automatically when you enter and exit any marketplace. with certain settings you can choose to make sure you don’t sell good stuff. Furthermore you can make it so you buy food automatically in the same way and you never have to manually trade ever again because your companions do it all for you. With these mods making money is as simple as fighting battles, capturing people, and merely entering and then exiting marketplaces.
Another good mod is the one that allows you to buy/sell acres of farmland on top of the enterprises. You’ll find all of this in Floris/dickplomacy but if you hate Floris/dick you can find these mods individually and make your own Frankenstein monster mod. They’re the best quality of life improvements you can find.

setting up dyeworks is a good investment

Running trade chains ruins morale tho

Not enough to cause desertion with decent leadership unless you're only eating grain and are fielding too large an army. Plus you can batter around bandits for a boost and pick up some extra slaves to sell

Alright so it's been awhile but this is the loop I figured out
>Get decent army
>Become vassal
>Fight in wars
>Use clubs, capture tons of prisoners and sell them, bonus for Noble prisoners
>When not in war, go to arena and find where tourneys are being held
>Go all in on yourself, win tourneys
>Do guild quests on the side
>Purchase breweries
>Collect cash from those
>Go to war
>Earn castles, Hamlet's
>Rake in taxes
>Repeat

Early game - Tournaments
Mid game - Dyeworks
Late game - Own one (or more) towns
That's my standard moneymaking plan. Other than tournaments at the very beginning it also requires basically 0 effort to maintain, so I can get on with doing whatever it is I actually want to be doing in that play-through.

what is the best mod for warband

That's a great way of NOT earning good money.
>Get decent army and equipment
>Farm exp and gold on boyar Meriga's corsair quest
>Win tournaments
>Buy dyeworks in Rivacheg for 1k gold / week
>Become a vassal, get a real army
>Either conquer a city yourself or retake one that your faction recently lost
>Go from there
Getting the cash is trivial, allocating your stats and skills is way more important.

>Kill Sea Raiders
In what world do you live in?

henlo were are teh waifu mosd? gibe link pl0x

Gekokujo.
It has all the good mechanics mods integrated into it, but the thing that makes it stand above the other mods like that is the battles. The lack of shields and the addition of guns results in a completely different balance, and it works shockingly well.

My favorite is Floris because all of the quality of life improvements. Dickplomacy is also good but it has a dumb feature where training takes away your health so you basically can’t train.
I think theoretically the best “mod” would be a custom mod for vanilla that included:
-autotrading companions/autoupgrading companions(they upgrade themselves with what they find and sell the rest so you don’t have to)
-buying acres of farmland
-diplomacy features(better kingdom management, the council-constable, chamberlain, etc- )

They're not too hard. Just get a fast horse and a lance, and you can solo them. You just have to master the ancient warrior technique of riding in a circle until they've expended all their throwing weapons. Shields help.

There's too many and they're all really different. Too difficult to say.

Off topic of money making is there any fucking mod that changes the god awful spike in exp needed to level up your character? Tired of taking such a long time leveling up after level 40 or so. even 30 takes awhile. Just wanted a better system/formula for exp needed to level. I use MnB Tweak already to up the exp gained in after fights and stuff but it's still not really enough in later levels. Plus i'd rather not export/import my character, and start back at level 1. Any recommendations?

Just get Cadmus' Floris Expansion, honestly. Original Floris just shits all over Swadia by making anything but the Baron Mineures absolutely worthless in close combat, also, Rhodoks are OP as fuck.

Just at the very beginning. When you start liberating manhunters and are them to your army they Will Do It for you

Floris for the Vanilla+ experience, Brytenwalda for glorious autism and the hobo economy, and Gekokujo for being basically a good expansion pack with a new setting and good quality of life stuff.

Pendor

lol why are you playing that oldass game just wait for the sequel

>He's still expecting Butterlord to come out

whatever happened to nu-dickplomacy made by that tranny, is it dead already?

>(focus on greatest profit rather than cost-efficiency since that's better in the long run)
this. but if you dont mind running around for an hour, find the couple of towns that have the best cost efficiency for their highest-profit enterprise compared to other towns

for your first couple of businesses, i mean

Yeah I chose the nords/rhodoks l in my Floris game so I never experienced butterland

Outer Heaven: The Fuedal kingdom

Man I should reinstall and do a big boss run

>level up skill that lets you hold prisoners
>find bandits with manhunter prisoners
>take manhunters as your own until you have an army of manhunters
>bonk the entirety of calradia into unconsciousness and sell them into slavery
>use money to buy enterprises

Attached: 170-fullscreen.jpg (600x340, 51K)

i dont loot villages anymore, really fucks your recruitment abilities. choose a few strategic fiefs with troops you want, and do a shit-ton of missions for them whenever you can. then when you need some troops, theyll give you more than a dozen and sometimes theyll even be high-tier than peasant

Fun fact: The A7 Condotierro D'assedio is actually equal to or better at fighting in close quarters than the A7 Nord infantry.

came here to post this kek

Hobo economy?
