A vast majority of players being absolute retards they jump immediately and die in the first minutes of the game leading to boring games without any fight during mid and late game. PUBG had the same issue on Erangel with the school and the military zone.

Nothing as of right now it's the most popular game on twitch streamers love it normies love watching it the characters are cool and relatable and funny they have a voice and they use it unlike the characters in other games that dont speak. Literally nothing. A military-like (albeit a lightly so) can't beat fortnite because the latter targets kids all the way down to preschool age, and it depleted the potential for the foreseeable future for any game to be "everyone's" first BR.

This is what you should do though. The first lesson to pick up in a BR, especially if you're playing with randoms, is that you will die a lot and it shouldn't bother you. If you fight early, you'll get to learn your two temporary friends, who to rely on and ultimately if you have a chance. If you don't, then why not die as fast as possible while getting some fragging exercise in the process? Going into the lategame with an untested team and untested cohesion is just as much a roll of the dice as hot dropping.

I think the crux of the issue is that the game, for lack of a better word, is violent. Violent for violence sake. And I think that people are starting to outgrow games like this. Look at the most popular games out right now; none of them super violent. Its fine honestly. Game is fun. Servers are unstable though and Battlepass seems really underwhelming. Just means thats pretty much it content wise until June or whenever. I was planning to get the battlepass but I didn't see anything I wanted out of it. Other than the netcode and occasional PC crashes, the bones of Apex are good. I mean, just compare the fluidity of movement and quality of life improvements it has over BR competitors like PUBG.

The fact that we only have one map and complete character and weapon imbalance, however, is not good. I'm just shy of hitting level 100 and I'm very sick of the game. I have no idea what they were thinking with the hitboxes.

To much focus on team playing on a game which seems built on a solo experience. The special skills of each champion seem to benefit that champion in particular instead of the group, and the one champion that can reasonably benefit the group forces said group to be stationary. The game that requires and rewards quick reflexes and speed is brought to a halt as everyone has to go into a hiding spot to get healed up. What makes no sense as well is that they clearly tried to build around this problem by making heal and sheild drops plentiful, which creates a paradox in which you can have a team of selfish players in a game that supposedly rewards team effort.

The game desprately needs a solo play, or at the very least a rework of all the champions to be able to work as a team.

This is a big problem. The one thing that is good about the fortnite battle pass is that it is very easy to do, or to just buy. It has that gacha-style dopamine rush because it is so easy to get into. Apex tries to be too much of a shooter game without realizing that it needs to be rewarding to players who in some cases will just spawn in and die instantly.

I dunno about everyone else but the shooting feels like complete shit. Like i'm firing wet noodles. Plus all the autistic ADHD shit like jumping around during gunfights jesus.

Actually Apex needs to be even MORE mobile. With some guns that have a hard time of even reaching other players, or even guns that are dogshit when not far away, their needs to be a way to close the distance or even widen the distance. The game should have something like all the characters having rocket-boots that allow them to skate on the ground or walls at high-speeds like in vanquish

Guy's how do I properly use Gibralter's shield and ult?
I never know the best way to apply the shield because not only does it block shots coming in and out, it takes awhile to get out so doing it in the middle of gun fights aint the best idea. I also just straight up forget to use my ult half the time since I keep going some odd hours without finding a single fight.

Launched as a stealth throwaway title, so when it actually got popular and had all eyes on it they weren't ready to capitalize on it as quick as they needed to be. They still couldn't fix the crashing issues, the battle pass took to long to come out and it still sucked, and they don't have a big enough design team to pump out skins and other cosmetics. It's hard to say its their fault because I'm sure if they went in expecting to be popular, they would have hit the ground running.

The battlepass rewards make me not even want to play.

Fortnite allows you to level it up through XP which you get a ton of just by playing, even in the baby mode. Finishing the specific challenges bump it a ton and you can pretty much get to Lv 100 by the 8th week just doing those.

The Apex Pass requires 25,000 XP for every level, and you usually get around 7K for lasting til the very end/pulling off a win.

I was a fucking idiot and thought I'd probably be playing other games through the season so I sprung for the $28 one. EA's jew-ness shone through right away, forcing you to get the $40 pack to have enough, and all of the rewards are abosolute dogshit. Garbage looking skins for weapons, the character skins aren't that great and the skill counters are basically season 1 wins/kills which no one actually gives a shit about.

I actually got a few cooler items from the free apex passes you get in the pass which is baffling. Why wouldn't you make tons of new animated skins for the characters to entice people to buy and play?
