Devil may cry 5 is fine and fun but sekiro is not only fun but truly great. Has an actual plot, insanely good world and level design and the enemy variety and bosses are fantastic.

Dmc5 is a 7.5-8/10 good game but nothing really memorable, sekiro is a 9/10 goty contender and only dmcfags will deny this.

Sekito is a better game but DMC is casual and normie pandering so it will probably win.

Your personal opinion about the plot is worthless and most fans like myself loved it. Also, level design is the best in the series due to a lack of gimmicky puzzles and backtracking.

what about level design is shit? The way it is structured is perfect for DMCV's gameplay and combat. You could probably say a thing or two about aesthetics or variety, but DMC has mostly been about variety and depth in combat.

I'm loving Sekiro more than DMCV, but so far as action games go, I think DMCV will hold the title. It's just a fair bit more complex in terms of combat. I'll vouch for Sekiro though, personally.

Seriko is probably gonna be better in regards to first time playthroughs since you'll likely have almost all of the Upgrades available by the end giving you more to work with whereas DMC encourages repeat playthroughs since unless you use Dr Faust methods you'll only have one character fully upgraded and that's only if you ignored the other 2.

I see a lot more negativity around Sekiro. DMC5 is a game people wanted and it meets or exceeds expectations. Sekiro is more obviously flawed, and I think a lot of people are like me where they expected more from it.
