>Remedy's Control is epic exclusive
Guess I'll have to install chinese spyware.
Remedy's Control is epic exclusive
>giving money to ubishit
Tienanmen Square Protests. 1989.
yea their last good game was max payne 2
How are they exclusive if they're also on uplay
Oh no I'm forced to pirate again
quantum break was fun and alan wake was kino
Quantum Break was a Netflix show with interactive intermissions and Alan Wake was painfully repetetive. There was no variation to the ennemies or how you disposed of them, always just light and shoot.
So now I don't have to not buy things from Ubisofts DRM launcher, I can not buy things from Epic's DRM launcher instead?
Loving the free market Epic has built for us gamers!
based user who has played neither of the games he's shitting on
Remedy is just Sam Lake seeing if he can live his entire life coasting along making subpar exclusives off his Max Payne cred
>Alan Wake wasn't bad, but it could've been better
>Quantum Break was just dogshit
>Microsoft finally ends their exclusivity contracts with him after these two flops
>does nothing for a few years until he manages to sucker Epic Games into becoming his new patron
You don't have to buy a game. If you have any standards you will not support a bad thing even if it offers a good thing. It's very simple.
It's easy to see why Remedy took Epic's bribe: they no longer have Microsoft's protection, meaning they NEED their next game to be a hit or the studio will most likely go under. If the rumors of what Epic offers companies are true (entire projected sales total given as a lump sum), it's the kind of deal that they can't afford to turn down. It literally removes risk from what's otherwise and extremely high risk for them.
I'd rather buy the console version.
No, he's completely right on both. Alan Wake was a fuckup with quite literally one enemy type in the whole game (two if you count the crows). And Quantum Break was only half a game at all (not to mention it also only had one enemy type). Remedy were everyone's darlings when Max Payne was new but it increasingly looks like they just can't cut it anymore. Control has a lot to prove.
Epic already pays the game for you, yet you still pays for the console version. Absolute cuck.
Chinese people are evil and I don't want China to ever get money from me.
Yarr harr fiddle dee dee
Epic Games Store is a pirate for me
The chinks pay the game FOR YOU. So, don't feel guilty when getting a copy on piratebay or any torrent service
he is right tho
Yeah, I'm gonna support Remedy if the game is good.
Alan Wake has a great story and great atmosphere which makes it good. Gameplay ain't broken so who cares.
Quantum Break had fun as fuck gameplay, I agree it was short but it was still a good game.
