Pick up my dispenser or destroy it. One time I did this and the engi said "now I can't build anything" like they didn't know ammo boxes or supply closets give metal.

How to get good as an offensive engi? I use frontier justice and gunslinger but can't decide between normal pistol or the wrangler

Stop using that for a start and learn to meatshot, if you're not an Engie main you should know how to aim properly
>Put dispenser round the corner from the action
>Put teleporter one "area" further back then you want to, you want the sparkles to disappear by the time players get to the fight
>Gunslinger is for offensive support, dump it next to your team as they're pushing and charge anyone shooting at it with your shotgun
>Consider using the Jag and level 2 sentries, move it after every kill
Wrangler is pointless on gunslinger, you can use it to snipe with a real sentry but I really don't like it
The short circuit is secretly engineers best secondary

Mini turret + frontier justice.
You slam down a dispenser behind a wall on a road your mates use to get on the frontline, a tp near the spawn, and the exit behind a prop but close to the action.
This part is the most important, you basically support your team without having to sit in a nest

You put the sentry down on choke points, behind a corridor, somwhere it can't be reached by soldiers from the other side of the map
And then you fuck off and wait for the crits, you're guaranteed to have always 2 or 3 assists: at this point you're running towards the first fucker you can see.
Final touch, macro the navy seal pasta and spam it each time a scout gets salty
