You can cancel the super to reset a stun on a combo by holding H after doing the super. This let's you extend combos

press S to do a 4 hit combo that builds lots of meter
with half a bar, you press 4S to do a hold that auto-holds any strike
with full meter, you can do a raw super with 6S or end a S combo with a super automatically

you can also press H after the super to cancel it (sort of like paul's rage in T7 if you're familiar) to extend a combo

basically yeah

you can spend 50% to do a catch everything hold (but doesn't deal damage and can put the opponent just out of reach of a follow up combo) or 100% for the break attack which has limited armor and does a load of damage.

You can also cancel the break strike and continue with regular combos, although I'm not sure you'll get all that much more damage unless it's a particularly spicy combo using the environment.

The hold catches every strike and is the only way to hold out of a fatal stun, the break blow counters highs and mids on it's first 18 frames.

If they don't have meter, this can be a very easy and strong way to end a round.

When you're in Fatal Stun (from S combos and other certain moves), you can't hold. But if you have meter, the catch-all hold DOES work in Fatal Stun. So if they're meterless, the super is guaranteed.

God damn it. Theres no fucking point to combo scaling in a game like DOA where there are few true combos. Damage reduction arises naturally by avoiding damage outright through holding in the middle of a string.

you can build meter with any combo. S auto combos are easy to execute but they're not exactly safe and the damage scales down really aggressively. I'd generally keep the meter until you can get a kill with it (and you know you'll have to fight through some difficult strings of hits) or to do a large chunk of damage early on in the round. That, or save it for break holds if you know you'll be dealing with hard combos or fatal stuns.

I've found S combos are good for forcing the opponent to use their meter to break hold as it's a clearly telegraphed sign that you're about to do some sick shit to them and it's easy for them to panic.

Yes. Buying the full version literally just gives you licenses for all the characters and the story mode. That's the only difference.

I have a XBONE compatible controller that works on everything with no configuration, including the XBONE itself(i dont have one, but a friend of mine does and my controller works with it), but it doesnt matter what i do, DOA6 won't see it at all, i tried everything, i tried x360ce, i tried configuring the controller in steam, i tried joytokey and other similar software, nothing works.
