>It's the Arsenal Bird!
Ace 7 delivers kino while you're playing the game which is a high mark IMO.

Those two are my top picks as well.

OP wasn't a faggot and fpbp apply. Off to a good start in this thread.

that’s a cartoon drawing

I can pick any mission from Ace really.

>bad man gets sick
>now good man
wow such good writing

gay anime shit, overrated as bloodborne on Yea Forums

All of Bastion.

>t. thinks nier automata has good writing

It was a decent love story IMO. The part where 9S admits that he knew all along 2B was a killer hit me.

neir automata ending e

This whole thing was like watching a silly and melodramatic highschool play.

>game literally called redemption
>actual good writing
yes

muh killer robot fetish and huge ass, so deep
go read a book and get a job

I'm samefagging now but whatever

Why are shitposters so obsessed with 2B when the story is more about 9S?

this

We get it, you only like western games.

Is this real? What's the meaning of ghost train?

rdr 2 has many kino moments, but i agree

It's just an easter egg.

yes its real, its the departure of the dead to the other side

>suddenly 180s into goody two shoes after the diagnosis
it's shit writing. Had it been a slower and more subtle change it could of been decent

your game looks too silly to be deep

youtube.com/watch?v=xN0VAsJElX4
MGSV Kino Mirror

But it was slower and more subtle. It wasn't the TB that changed Arthur but when Charlie died. The TB was just a catalyst for him to hurry his redemption.

is it really true that they downgraded RDR2's graphics with the updates for the online?

Apparently.

>You call this art? It looks far too silly for that!

Attached: cri_000000386470.jpg (2000x1446, 526K)

any way to roll back updates? fuck sakes

MGSV had two kino scenes.

First is the massacre and following burial.

The second is Paz's ending.

Yeah, the moment I hit "post" I thought to myself that I should have included this one as well.

I'm not even sure what argument you're trying to make. 2B is sexualized, so the games entire narrative is invalidated? Are you aware that the best parts of the game occur after she's dead?

I pity the people who just shitposted about the game and never gave it a chance because they missed out on this.

"Do you remember the tape after this? She says she'll exist not as a phantom limb or phantom pain, but will always live in your heart.

Remember at the beginning, the doctor told you you had 108 bits of shrapnel, containing metal, as well as human bone and teeth.

There were two bits of shrapnel that they could not remove. One, in your skull.

And the other, near your heart."

>Charlie died
confirmed for never playing the game.

Undecided yet.
Its mainly one dude who started it by posting his comparison before/after patch screenshots.
Others call it a bug/glitch, or simply time of day/weather difference.

I had the same thought, but after a previous patch and it turned out to be not true as well.
Unless there's a comprehensible and more indepth comparison, than that guy and some people saying "I think it might be true", I wouldn't necessarily buy it. After all, this game is huge, so only one dude coming up isn't really the best scenario.
If you're in PS4/Xbox, you can just uninstall it and re-install it from disc without updates and turning them off.

I meant that black kid that Arthur was friends with. His death triggered Arthur's change.

what narrative

Absolutely not, thankfully it only affects that crappy online mode.

Is your argument that the game didn't have a good story? Or that it looks too silly to have one? I'm trying to get this straight but you're not helping.

Lenny? He doesn't really get much attention after his death, it's mainly Hosea.

Nah it's Lenny's death that crushes Arthur. After that he openly challenges Dutch knowing he's leading them all to death.

Racist opinion discarded

Sorry. This trash will never come close to BB

both!

To be honest Lenny was more than likely the breaking point while Sean and Kieran were what pushed him to the end.

Keeps normies like you away

I was genuinely creeped out when I found this. I thought it was going to come to life or its creator was going to burst through the door and attack me.

most overrated game of the century, only brought up my consolewarring kiddies

LENNYYYYY

>westoid coping
yikes thread

Not him but understanding Nier Automata doesn't make you some kind of intellectual super genius.
It's just mediocre freshman year philosophy.

Well I don't feel like laying out an entire explanation for why I think automata's story is good, but at it's core its about 2 forces that follow the orders of their dead gods in a dead world, and how they deal with the confusion of trying to find their own direction in existence. The game accomplishes that very well, and the visual designs of the characters don't hamper it at all. There's more to it but I feel like on that basis alone the game's narrative succeeds at being compelling.

I thought that was a gondola for a second

huge tits and ass

You seem to have some sort of preconcieved notion here. The only poster that ever brought up the game being deep or complex was the person shitting on it. No one praising the game said it was deep or complicated, just that it good moments and a decent story.

Ground Zeroes

I'M AN AMERICAAAN

>bloodborne still the most kino despite this thread's best efforts
Ahh...

Unfortunately 2B's tits aren't really that big, despite what you keep repeating.

the simpsons has good moments and sometimes a decent story, what’s your point?

The implication behind "keep normies out" is that you think you're better than the average person for playing the game.

bloodborne is just dark souls, though

Well then if the simpsons were a video game then they'd fit into this thread. Did you read the OP? This isn't a thread about whether or not nier was deep.

the simpsons is deeper than nioh

I'm not the guy who said that but I just assumed it was because he didn't like normies.

You're probably correct, Nioh isn't very deep.

This isn't a thread about what's deep, this is a thread about kino moments. Nier had a few of those even if the narrative was based around entry level philosophy. Additionally there's nothing wrong with entry level philosophy in the first place. People who are well versed in philosophy still appreciate Plato and he's the most basic of it all.

bro.. nier automata ending e has NOTHING to do with the robot or the story of the game. it breaks the 4th wall in an amazing way, it is truly the best moment in gaming. You'll never get to experience it since you're biased against the game, and spoiling it for yourself won't have near the impact as it should

Attached: nier_what_i_expected2.jpg (1000x338, 80K)

I dipped back into RDR2 yesterday and something to consider is that the framerate is markedly more stable than it was at launch (playing on a base PS4). Even San Denis, which was the worst spot in the game for slow down, seemed to stick much closer to 30fps. I didn't notice any visual downgrade for what it's worth, whether it's there or not. If they did change something, I think it was worth it because it feels better to play.

The main character you have been playing for hours and bonded with, who has always displayed and unbreakable *tough guy* personality with no feelings as a way of mantain his sanity after a traumatic experience and be able to do awful things in the name of his mentor, who he was fiercely loyal to but is know showing his true colors, finally opens up and admits he is afraid of dying, and decides that before that happens, even if he can't redeem all the bad things he's done, he at least can do some good.

But It's not an action or flashy scene so this doesn't qualify as "kino" for most of Yea Forums.

>those cringe posts
this is why you guys repulse everyone

You're bringing back the feels now I have to start a new game

>conversation about Nier
>abrupt shift to Nioh
What happened here?

Attached: orson.jpg (480x360, 11K)

The first dude is probably a mobile poster, or had a stroke.

Sums up most of the game. By the time I got Ending E, I loathed every single character except for Pascal, and the game as a whole. The only other game that ever made me hate its pretentious melodrama so much was Kingdom Hearts BBS.

That patch with performance increase has been out for quite some time now though.

Ace Combat 7, rdr2 and Nier Automata definitely have the most kino moments in gaming. Good thread.

So we know have two options:
>Play at 1.00 without the downgrade but with stability and performance issues
>Play the updated version with performance patch but with the downgrade

Fucking hell.

>Every character except for Pascal
How could you forget the best and most capable character in the game?

I don't know how you could consider BBS pretentious, it never tried to present itself as anything but a typical story. It was melodramatic though, that I'll give you.

easy win
yakuza is pure kino game

>to be deep
Are you implying that video games can be deep in the first place?

I've never had this scene in my playtrough because I'm not some moralfag pussy
Arthur is a fucking bandit and I kept his morality gauge as low as possible AS IT SHOULD BE.
He takes it like a man talking to reverend no crying or fear like a bitch fuck you all you pathetic normalfags.

Attached: 1541692419637.jpg (601x960, 84K)

You clearly didn't play the game.

No. Having bad honor during Chapter 6 just feels wrong, you can try being as bad as you want but the things he does after getting sick clearly proves that he is, or at least became, a good man.

The "canon" way to play as the devs intended is having bad honor during the first 4 chapters and then try to behave during Chapter 6, achieving Max honor (in fact, during chapter 6 the good honor you receive for each action is double than in the rest of the chapters, another proof that the devs want you to have good honor at the end), and get the nun scene. That's just what feels right with the story.

this describes Yea Forums

If "devs" intended for you to play it that way, they shouldn't have given a choice for playing it any other way.
