There's 10 chapters so you're about 40% of the way if I'm right.

To do that, you need to sacrifice an accessory slot for Overclocking Bangle, make sure you can handle having aggro or let someone else take it, and do nothing while you switch back and forth a few times.

Ursula sucks because burst healing is king. Crit heals fully heal, which you need to tank high damage attacks. Staying topped up between dangerous enemy arts is something that Ursula can do, but you need a second form of healing for general attacks and groups. A dedicated healer like Nia or Boreas plus critheals is better when you need lots of healing, there's no reason to use Ursula.

Ursula's a meme. Nia gives you "free HP forever" but nobody uses her.

I've been meaning to NG+ XBC2 lately and I wanna play it with the Japanese dub. I might actually like the story more seeing as how it's not delivered and conveyed in the worst way possible. Only downside is the battle lines aren't subbed.

As the other anons said, they didn't expect such a positive reaction toward Nia. But don't feel obligated to play an entire JRPG again just for a title screen change. It's only really worth it if you're into the idea of getting really powerful and playing the challenge mode DLC.

Even so, NG+ should be for people who want to play it again at a higher difficulty with a twist. You shouldn't hide swathes of content behind it. Like I said, it just means i'll have to wait until the story becomes fresh in my head again until I can experience the whole game.

It's all possible without ng+. But you can get some more blades and extra equipment slots for drivers in ng+ that could help you out.

I haven't played the challenge mode yet but considering how much driver combos heal you I've been running Rex-Zeke-Morag for a bit now and it's pretty powerful, especially if you use a healer like Nia or someone like her on Rex.

Challenge mode is what's on it's name. Basically, damage checks else you die.

QTpi trivializes the mode, as does agility built Mythra

Pretty much, yeah. Prerequisites for challenge mode are level 99, S+ trust on your blades, and NG+ for that third accessory slot. It's best to start with the easiest challenges and work your way up. The loot you get in challenge mode is the best in the game, and some of it can help you beat the harder challenges - e.g. 100% doom resistance / party gauge drain resistance.

I got the bonus from launch, did a blade art with pnuema at level 4, at the end of a blade arts chain, then immediately hit a chain attack, with 3 chain bonus orbs on the enemy. I took down like 90% of the mob's health before it even hit it's enrage phase.

At least, my build for Mythra was using two common blades with +Agility bonuses, gave Pyra a core chip that added +50 agility, and used +agility accessories along with the accessory that sacrifices defense for attack. Took a good 20 minutes or so of spamming rolling smash > lv2 specials to finally down the main Elma while also somewhat thinning the rest of the Elma horde.

QTpi you'd also probably need to build for dodge tanking to do Elma Redux

They have 3 HP. Hit them with a special, they take 1 damage. Hit them with a super effective / opposite element, they take 2 damage. If you break an orb, you get another round of your chain attack. This is how you extend it to 6+ rounds.

Party gauge is replaced by the full burst gauge during chain attacks. Fill the gauge (needs 300 points), get a full burst. Breaking an orb is worth 50 points. Breaking multiple orbs in a single round is worth 100 each.

Dahlia with element orb ender can break 3 orbs at once and instantly get 250 points.

Rex's character arc is broken on too many levels to be fixed by just changing the ending. His character type is a shonen trope that I've simply seen be done better by too many characters like Goku (who's been fucked up by post-Z material), Monkey D. Luffy, and Link in LoZ: Wind Waker.

That would only mean that Nia had more choice in the matter, not less. If she wasn't facing death, she would've had more time to make the decision, and she could just leave, if she really wanted to. For post game/challenge mode the best three blades are hanaJD, fiora, and saika(NG+). They make every other blade look like garbage. Suzaku is garbage and only used for smash on rex but you can just use kamuya. Though rex is really best just running hikari solo.
Not counting fiora, hibana is the best healer and kamuya and kagetsuchi are the best tanks, not counting hanaJD.
