I believe that Revision Switch will get 2 separate model. Expensive one is massive spec upgrade that will focus more on handheld mode and it will have 3rd party games that exclusive to this model more than DSi or new3DS. Cheap one is smaller and better battery life or maybe less faction

This most likely going to happen. Nintendo want to see Switch go mainstream to 3rd party support and they already learned from Wii U mistake that they can't survive next gen with 1st party game alone

I didn't buy it because i bought a 3ds in late 2016 and ps4 last year.

Switch mini needs a better design because holy fuck isn't it fucking painful to play undocked already.

Ergonomics on handhelds died with the GBA. That was the last system where they seemed to make any kind of effort, and then everything became a plastic rectangle. At least third party grips exist.

Ignore the hardware, all that matters is the games. If you think the games currently available would be a lot of fun and you would enjoy them, just purchase it now, the performance of a hardware revision is unlikely to increase significantly based off of previous Nintendo portable revisions.

Considering Nintendos Track record with Upgraded versions of consoles, I think the Switch Mini (come up with a better fucking name) will be a portable-only Console with no dock same power as the regular switch with a cheaper price tag, while the Switch Ultra will be exclusively docked in order to justify an increase in power. Personally, I see both of these failing, or the switch mini succeeding, because just like the New 3DS, not many games took advantage of the better hardware the New 3DS offered, IIRC it was only Xenoblade that actually did so.
Also, "New 3DS" is an awful fucking name

Just wait for a revision or when emulation is complete and you can play those games for free on PC at 60 fps 4K.

I care for switch mostly cause it's a handheld. I never missed nintendo handhelds since gameboy, but only had nes as a normal console. I prefer handhelds.

Literally all Nintendo has to do is make a NORMAL CONSOLE that can handle third party games with good graphics and their first party titles alone would make them dominate the market.
