Yet ANOTHER streaming service

>Yet ANOTHER streaming service
>PCs are becoming walled gardens like consoles
When will the madness end?

Jesus Christ they can now transfer their sharts right to your TV

If you think streaming services are for PCs, you're an absolute moron. They're for every device with a bluetooth adapter and video processor. Phones, tablets, even TVs, they will all become high-end PCs, on demand, as long as you have a controller to play with. That's the idea. The idea isn't to replace people who already have a dedicated video game player, but add more people who never had one to begin with

unlike consoles you can pirate games

It will end when these out of touch companies realize how corrupt ISPs are and how most of the population won't even have proper internet to stream in the first place.

when comcast and friends ultimately start throttling streaming conteent in order to get a piece of the pie

>Phones, tablets, even TVs, they will all become high-end PCs, on demand
>Several seconds of input lag
>15 FPS
>High-end
lol

retro gaming has never looked better.

>tfw can only afford 'WAL MART GAMING'.

You cant pirate stream games

yeah you can

i remember when I was 10 and could only afford walmart connect dial up internet

>TVs with feed latency
>Phones with unoptimized video output that isn't prerendered.
>Bluetooth delay

That's a big no for me dog. Even just remote desktop like parsec and rabb.it aren't that hot still.

We Love
We Love
WALMART

Now this is epic

>high end PC
nigga my mid range PC has less delay than that shit

>That's a big no for me dog.
Never said it's for you, in fact it's probably not for anyone browsing Yea Forums. That's literally billions of people, though. There's many many people out there who won't notice and/or care about 200ms input lag.

Hearty kek.

yeah fucking right

gaming services are literally ok since you don't have to sub to use them. Its services like netflix that makes it impossible to have more than 1 at a time without just spending a dumb amount of money for existing.

Walmart can't even properly keep their website functioning. This is going to be a disaster.

>people actually live outside of newjersey

YOOO DIS NIGGA MAD SERIOUS

>PC Gaming will finally die in your lifetime
N-no

this reminds me of the beginning of the vg crash of the early 80s, but instead of everyone and their mother getting in the business by making shitty games, they're making shitty streaming services/consoles

>Live in the yellow range
>Have 200mbps internet service
I had no idea so many people here were getting terrible speeds like that. Must be in the more rural areas.

Is there a source for that picture

The low bandwidth areas are literally just hicks who don't know what the internet even is

the problem is that the infrastructure in a lot of areas is subpar because companies got money to build it and only did a minimal job, or because only one company is in the area and have no real motivation to provide great service. there's a ton of remote areas that still rely on dialup or satellite. i'm lucky to live in a more urban area where i have access to a few different companies but for the majority of the country this isn't a reasonable expectation.
