I just finished vampyr. Took me a long time to play due to negativity on here. But wow, what an amazing rpg. I have not played an rpg this good since dragon age origins.
Anybody else here love this game?

Is it a legitimate RPG because it seems like it's just Life is Strange with vampires?
It is very similar to kotor or jade empire or the first dragon age. Lots of dialog and meaningful choices, with decent combat which is similar to bloodborne.
The story is genuinley absorbing and unpredictable, too.
how long is it approximately? been recently liking short games because fuck whatever.
>vampire powers are cooldown shit instead of base attacks
What fucking dumbass thought this was a good idea?
It took me roughly 30-40 hours but i did a lot of the side content too and played on hard difficulty
Thats pretty much how every rpg of this type has handled powers. To me the blood mechanic made sense
>meaningful choices
no, just no.
"choices" aren't good/evil or paragon/renegade, they are right/wrong and if you choose wrong it's bad end for you.
and what is the right choice? of course the most leftist SJW cuck choice possible
fuck this game, fuck dontnod and FUCK YOU!
I wanted prototype gameplay but not so extreme. And instead it's some shit rpg using guns and big knives instead of you know, being a vampire?
Good story, and I enjoyed the game.
But unless they improved the combat since I last played it then the combat was kind of ass.
This game really was not sjw at all, it portayed a wide array of characters with a wide array of political beliefs and backgrounds. The game lets you play good bad or grey and there are four endings...
>not playing a game due to negativity on Yea Forums when piracy is something you can do
you're fucking retarded
I play on console. Games are made to be played on big screen with surround sound...asshole
Gonna play it on gamepass. Thanks
are you kidding me? first place you get is hospital and there you have sob story about genius female nurse who can never become a doctor because she's woman. meanwhile the male doctor is a junkie.
then there's the suffregette, faggots, niggers and all other diversity and naturally player doesn't have option to tell them to fuck off.
he does however criticise THE FUCKING WALL the not-trump is building.
Careful my friend that opinon is teetering dangerously close to dissent...
Oh well I'm too old for that or just retarded. Have to be really good game if I'm gonna play over 20 hours nowadays. But good that you liked it.
Persona 5 took me 136 hours on hard mode to complete...
moderates dont like those things either user, its not just libcucks
>It is very similar to kotor or jade empire or the first dragon age
It isn't like these games at all.
I tried it. Didn't like it. Uninstalled
>hub areas where you interact with npcs, buy items, collect backstory, pickup quests, and level up
>seperate contained combat areas where you defeat enemies and complete quests. Semi-open world
>branching dialog with moral choices and branching plot
>morality mechanics with local population
Reinstall.
>meaningful choices
What a blatant lie lmao
I had some fun with the game, mainly because i liked the setting. Combat was passable but not great.
My biggest gripe is that talking to NPCs is pretty much pointless when you do a pasifist playthrough and sickness is too much RNG for my taste.
I remember having a nice, clean and healthy city one night and after i went to sleep fucking every district was down with the flu. Fuck you game.
Sometimes plot choices cause everyone to get sick such as killing a pillar
Hmm maybe if I still have the files or iso
Yeah i know but i wasn't talking about that.
The pillar system was interesting, although the priest at the dock felt somewhat arbitrary in terms of how many hoops you have to jump through to not kill him.
This game was a breath of fresh air and 8 especially liked that they provided a fleshed out ending. The lore is very deep and interesting i hope they do a sequel lots of room for improvement
>Old Mans Vampire Snob Club invites you to join and be their new delivery boy and janitor
>you have literally no choice in the matter and can just watch the protagonist happily kiss their boots and join
Nice choices you have there.
>dude its the republican party lmao
Not everything is about america, faggot.
Gentlemens Clubs were absolutely a big thing in the Empire and unavoidable for businessmen to network, and it' logical that elder vampires would organize and blend in in a similar way.
>responding to such obvious bait over and over
Combat is like a shitty version of Bloodborne combat and you have god damn miles of text and dialog to sift through for side quests and hints.
Game sucks
