Just got this case in the mail. Seems pretty neat, even if the L2/R2 additions are only really useful for PSX titles and PS4 Link.

Stopped using my Vita as an emulation machine after I got a telescopic controller for my Android phone. The Android emulators also run better than the ones on my Vita, got a silky smooth 60 fps in the Moonlight Forest in Seiken Densetsu 3 while it chugged on Vita.

And eventually I'll probably get a hacked Switch because switching from handheld emulation to big screen on the fly sounds amazing. RIP my beautiful white Vita. I even have the grips like other people here.

There is no input lag as far as I can tell. I didn't cheap out and get the shitty $20 iPega (which I tried and it's garbage). This shit cost $50 and I'd say it's worth every penny.
That's why you get one of these. Or even just an 8bitdo controller and one of those holders that attach to it.

I really want to like my Vita, but there's just no good exclusives for it. Most games I wanted like Gravity Rush and Tearaway were remastered for the PS4 and for just about everything else I can play it on PC. I pretty much just got one to play Tales of Innocence and Hearts R. Sony really fucked up by not supporting the system more. It's an awesome piece of hardware.

I've been very on the fence for years about Vita, but kinda glad I never fell for it. I own every VIta game I could want on other Sony consoles or PC, several games got updated ports to other consoles like Caligula Effect. I dont think theres a single JRPG or VN that is only on Vita I would care about much. Luckily the Switch has more games I care about and has better support and not a bunch of bullshit business tactics.

the main game is slightly worse in some respects, your party members are premade demons with set classes(usually a mix of two class skillsets from DG1), and the first set of dungeons are kind of weak because they're meant to be tackled in any order
after that it improves a lot, but I prefer the make-your-own team the other Exp games have
