Casualized trash or commendable addition to the series?
Casualized trash or commendable addition to the series?
the latter
a decent addition but ultimately mediocre.
I've tried so many times to replay this shit and I just get bored every time.
I personally really liked it, but had Invisible War not existed and set our expectations of the series so low for the future, Human Revolution would be treated like how IW was, and still is.
It's fun but not even close to the original plotwise and world-building.
not a patch on the first, but a fuck ton better than IW
Horrendous addition to the series.
it doesn't keep with the themes or visual style of the originals at all and it's clear that its developers would have rather worked on literally anything else.
Didn't even play Invisible War and probably didn't play the original either.
Blue pill of the series.
Better than 2, worse than 1.
>Didn't even play Invisible War and probably didn't play the original either.
You didn't? Damn. Maybe you should play those, like we have, before you post in this thread. :)
By far the best in the series
Its the only game in the franchise I played and it was trash.
>literally nothing but endless walking
>choices amount to nothing
>you can either enter the building by force or there's another ladder/duct just to the side of it for you to enter through for the 124th time
I stopped playing in china because running around became awfully tedious for literally nothing
I wasnt invested at all in this
I love it but that's due to my stealth fag nature.
Good game, bad Deus Ex game, even IW was a better Deus Ex game.
Commendable casualized addition to this thrash series
/thread
game is pretty good and breach was great too. got to max level.
Bland, reduced the original's themes and concepts to a simplistic Civil Rights! dilemma, piss filter, third person cover shooting instead of a damn lean button, less freedom in action and what you can do in the game, awful boss fights (yes they were removed but still part of the original design), a plot that wasn't nearly as witty, next to no memorable dialog (the only thing is from the trailer rather than from the game), confused progression, boring weapon variety, and a strange neo-tudor aesthetic they tried to force in an incredibly hamfisted renaissance metaphor.
Why this game and Mankind Divided fuck up the Deus Ex lore so much but get away with it?
Well, both
Good game, meh Deus Ex, but better then Invisible War.
Yeah. I wish stealth amounted to more than just 30 hours of constant vent crawling. I think the only time it ever forced you out of your comfort zone were a few sections of the DLC. Even Deus Ex had at least some enemies in the vents sometimes, and even Invisible War realized that it was not enough so it consistently placed a variety of enemies in them from the start of the game, and put mines in as well. And even that was still too little. But Human Revolution had nothing of the sort, just safe and empty tunnels all day erry day.
This, it's fun being a ghost.
good game, more faithful to the original than iw.
It's the best Deus Ex, so I guess the latter.
