sony with epic, microsoft with nintendo, ubisoft with google, things are changing in major ways for sure, the ride is just getting started too, end of this gen and the start of next gen IMO with the new google 'console' already started

Aside from survival games jumping the shark and the "streaming wars" kind of drama that's going on with Steam and Epic, everything seems to be normal doesn't it?

The whole mentality of players and devs is poorly thought out and idiotic. People spend more time complaining about how their neighbor's boat can't traverse land than using their own cars, and, as of late, boat companies started to bend their knees and focus more on land crossing boats than seaworthiness.

Its colapsing like everything else but i dont care. I have everything i need. Every snes, genesis, gba, ds, ps1, n64 and arcade game released in hd and dvd. Also, almost 2tb of pc and ps2 games. Its more than a lifetime of nonstop gaming. I couldnt care less at this point and i realy hope everything goes to hell.

in the first few years of the last gen we had cod 4 (redifined how shooters are going to be played for the next 10+ years) and gears (pretty much invented modern tps)
both consoles had multiple high quality must have exclusives + many new ips. and that gen was already declining compared to the ps2 one
meanwhile in this gen the best game is still a goddam soul clone
