How is Microsoft getting their brand everywhere on every device "giving up"? If anything Sony gave up on trade shows, gave up on releasing news, and gave up a bunch of exclusive games that will appear on PC, which is a windows platform.

Sony always sucked, but they are pros at it recently. I feel so bad for the few Sony gamers that weren't FIFA boxers and casuals.

Microsoft wants everything integrated to Xbox, it seems their reasoning is that customers will prefer buying an Xbox because it can be integrated to their other gaming platforms (Switch, PC, etc.). I disagree with this reasoning simply because what sells a console is exclusives, and Microsoft just giving away its exclusives like that only incetivises people to not get an Xbox
