I mean DCs campaign is still GOAT, but fuck me! If there's ever been a case of a nostalgiafag being btfo and shut up after actually trying out the game he shat on for years, then its mine. I don't see myself going back to DoW1 anytime soon.
Too bad Retribution was shit, because they caved in to, well... MY old crowd and put in some halfassed basebuilding with a boring, copy pasted campaign mode, butchering the game in the process.

Love it to death right now, which I didnt expect because I didn't enjoy the first one that much.
based. DoW2 is such an iconic game for a reason. Glad you came around to join the rest of us.
But yeah, I wish Retribution's campaign wouldn't have just been thrown out like that. Iirc its almost missing features from the basegame.
Also Chaos Rising has better space hulk levels than the actual space hulk games.

Who else has been addicted to this? There's a fuckload of content i'm like 70 hours in and i'm not done the epilogue. It's fun as fuck trying different builds, trying my hardest to make the chainsword to work but it's just so shit because everything has armor. Also the bolters are the most satisfying thing in any game iv'e ever played, the rifle and pistols.
