Don't buy nVidia cards. EPIC/nVidia are partnering up to promote one another and balkanize the PC gaming. Unreal Engine has baseline Gameworks built-in. Any game that uses Unreal Engine will run like crap on AMD hardware. This isn't a coincidence, its meant to kill AMD marketshare. Tim Sweeney EPIC founder has decades long relation with nVidia devs and their ploy to create a monopoly for nVidia as graphics card and Unreal Engine as game engine.

Now why are they creating EPIC game stores? Why are they targeting Valve? Because Valve is promoting GPU agnostic gaming, they are promoting linux gaming, more specifically the use of Vulkan which will diminish Unreal Engine/nVidia advantage. Valve is a direct existential threat to their partnership. If EPIC even captures 10% of the market, it means nVidia/Unreal Engine has 10% lead over AMD/every other game engine.

Ask your corporate overlords at Valve to make Steam competitive again.
