I would like Black Knight to get an uncap but I don’t think there’s ever been a character from grand or flash that’s ever got a 5 star weirdly enough. Which sucks since Black Knight really could actually benefit from a 5 star without it being totally wasted on another character that would make no difference to them in the long run. Cause mainly it’s her damage is the big problem

the story mode isn't as difficult as Langrisser, but the raids are pretty difficult and do require strategy

there are a couple good characters you get for free, but rolling the gacha is pretty important. you have to build a monoelement team, and you cant really do that without gacha.

The game doesn't really have daily quests except for a minor co-op daily quest, so you can log in whenever you want. However, right now is the anniversary where you get up to 100 free draws a day, so you should log in every day until the 30th.

Raids are multiplayer bosses where up to 30 people fight against 1 boss

You should fap once every few days if you really care about your prostate.

One of the directors said that they're looking into giving limited characters 5*s, but they're not sure how to implement it in a "fair" way and so it probably won't be anytime soon.

At least Black Knight has decent utility, some older grands like Kat, Rackam and Eugen are just really outdated (even after Katalina's buffs)

If you're looking for optimal progression you should, but honestly that gets boring pretty quickly. Honestly the most important things to really play and get are the events that give out good weapons or items (Xeno battles, Rise of the Beasts, Guild Wars if you're an autist) since you'll be using them for a long ass time or they can unlock characters in the distant future.

Sparking Lucifer right now is worth it imo, and you might get dups of character weapons with interesting skills such as s.Jeanne.

The event ends soon and costs increase incrementally everytime you buy one copy so you better start grinding or hope it drops from raids or solo. If you're just starting then clearing maniac is probably out of the question. Leech raids if they pop up and clear very hard, or extreme if you can manage it, as much as possible.

The latter. Even GBF fans found the anime mediocre, it covers what is basically the prologue of the main story and doesn't even reach the point where the real action starts (Albion Citadel).

The only redeeming part was the side story episode, the OVAs and seeing the non-main characters join the Leviathan fight. So basically when they focused on non-main characters

Basically leech magna raids for certain magna weapons. If they don't drop you can use the pendants you earn from fighting in magna raids to buy them (2500 pendants gives you one magna weapon in the store). Along the way work on unlocking and maxing out job classes, progressing through the main story, unlock Arcarum which will give you weapon drops, etc

GBF basically boils down to grinding for weapons to get stronger to grind for more weapons.

Part of me wants to just say to wait, considering the 5th Birthday Ticket lasts a whole damn year, but if you're sub-HL then you might as well pick one now for the free boost and because you won't be getting basically anything there anytime soon.
As for Dark, Hermanubis is a 10/10 mainhand weapon, but it can be farmed out in HL if you feel like running 6-man trains on Anubis.
The most useful Dark M2 weapon is the Abyss Spine, but it needs a 4* for the full effect, and it only comes at 3* I believe (comes at L100 SL10, and shit like the Xenos come at L150 SL15 so it's probably just 3*), and isn't really worth picking unless you can 4* it.
Speaking of Xenos, the Xeno Diablo Katana is tradable, and while it's really good, it's not that hard to farm one out, just tedious if you have a shit light grid and/or can't wait for the rerun.
Ancient Cortanas give Trium, at least.
Really though, it's probably best if you wait.
