You hear [insert jrpg] forest theme, notice that its filled with panpipes and other light breathy woodwind instruments, and think its another fucking elf forest song in a fucking jrpg.

And then you listen to Borderlands and get the same fucking Western film theme in the same fucking desert style stage and you think its refreshing to hear a gritty, Western film inspired theme for once.

Maybe different people like different things, and objective quality only exists to a certain point
