Dude, I feel you. My boy is 14 and now has kidney disease and some pinched nerve or something. He just starts screaming in pain while laying down.

He got me through transitioning between being a child and an adult (got him in college). Got me through a marriage, a divorce, getting fired, moving states, changing industries, getting remarried... The only constant in my life was him right by my bed every night and now I just have to give him daily meds, hold him through his pain episodes, all the while knowing that the end is creeping ever closer.

I just wish that, at the end of everything, I got 10 minutes to talk to him where he could speak English. To let him know how much he's meant to me. To know if he's truly been happy.
