Anyone else here get really mad over these Japanese games fear of Black women? Over 2/3 of the time I see a darker skinned female character in a Japanese game, she's never black, its always either some brown "asian" or made up ambiguous brown race. Why the fuck can't they just be black? Would it really ruin the game if Fran were Black, or Y'shtola were black? Gloria in DMC 4 or Lucia in DMC 2, why couldn't they be black? Kat from Gravity Rush, why can't she be black? There's too many of these dark skinned women that should be black, but magically aren't; why?

Why does she have no black features though? This is the problem, characters like this just look like ambiguous brown people, which allows fans who find them attractive to backpedal and swear they aren't black. I've seen this so many times, look at Fran. Her features are ambiguous, so racist fans who find her attractive can always go "well, she's not black so its ok". Its repulsive.
