i think they’re still working on a lot of improvements for 3 and it’ll be even better. 3 should be in great tier. for some reason KH3 gets a lot of criticism for the same things other KH games did. most people must not remember how bare bones the original KH2 was or never played it.
KH 3 has its flaws but the base game is still good. With some work it can be great tier or dare I say god tier. It's clear that it was rushed and Square more likely told Nomura you are not delaying this game anymore

I enjoyed going through 3’s Disney worlds way more than 2’s. The only Disney world I really enjoyed in 2 was Beasts Castle and that’s mostly for the music and boss fights. I’ll take Arendelle over the nothing that is Land of Dragons any day.

BBS, DDD, and 0.2 are all mediocre games no matter how flashy or visually appealing they are
Days, Re:Com, and Union X are all genuinely boring/bad games, while there are some neat things in them, they are all overall not fun to play at all

Lucky Emblems give you a reason for exploring the prettier worlds. Trying to find all the emblems without a guide was a nice challenge. Especially the ones you can only see from certain angles.

KH3 is completely weightless and spamming attack on the air attracts you magnetically to enemies from far away so positioning doesn't matter at all

Why was 100 Acre Wood butchered? Why was the Keyblade Graveyard butchered? Why was Radiant Garden cut entirely? The answer to all of these is "Nomura is a hack and doesn't have the Tokyo team to cover his stupidity anymore".
I wouldn't call Nomura a hack. Yes KH 3 was full on retarded with some of the decisions but the game was still fun and effort was put into it. Game was just fucking rushed to hell and back

Even having to change engines doesn't excuse this shit, Persona 5 had development hell but turned out good. KH3 checked off all the boxes it needed to but it leaves a lot to be desired.

Data Sora was so agile and the different combinations of keyblades with perks topped with a balanced command deck made it really fun, but it cramped my hand playing on a handheld for too long

I don't know if its the worst controlling, but it definitely feels like ass to play and the pace/challenge can be buttraped in the first 2 worlds.
