I haven't played W101 but it looks fun. Bayo 2 was shit (but IIRC he wasn't behind it). Bayo 1 has some glaring flaws. Hopefully Bayo 3 cuts the fat like DMC5 did. As things stand DMC5 and NGB are going head-to-head for greatest action game of the Heisei period.

I have to say though, he is right. DMC5 did become more realistic and toned down the anime art style from 4. The game has more cutscenes than 4 as well. And it's still a fucking great game.

Not him and I don't hate bayo 2 but it really wasn't, it was much shallower in terms of gameplay
Lumen Sage was still one of the most exhilarating fights in this entire genre, but the rest of the bosses in the game were pretty poor, ESPECIALLY the flying ones
