Absolute pleb taste. Here’s the best enemy in the game
WW has an annoying boss fight and shit music
GI is fucking ridiculously big and hard to navigate
get fucked GGM is the best
>Actually having fun mashing A to beat Canary Mary
>Enjoying being a detonator whose only attack blows yourself up
Absolute cuck
This is also an acceptable answer
ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I went back and replayed Tooie and it's actually pretty fucking awful.
>constantly backtracking
>notes are an afterthought
>the size and scope of 95% of the levels don't mesh with the pace of the gameplay making it feel like an incredibly tedious slogfest
>made even worse by the games framerate issues
Witchyworld was probably one of 2 levels I actually enjoyed. The music was godtier as always though. youtube.com
The backtracking always annoyed me. I started to replay it a couple months ago but never got around to finishing it again. Got to Hailfire Peaks and didn't feel like finishing. However, there are a lot of exploits you can do to prevent yourself from backtracking so much so it wasn't so bad.
Yore
Fuck off. Witchy World has a HYPE boss fight and great music. Also the flying saucer minigame and the fast food stands.
Best level in Tooie? I'd say Grunty Industries is objectively the best level in Tooie, based on how it functions as a puzzle, with unlocking shortcuts and the ability to explore the entire factory from the outside, inside, all the floors, and even the roof. Plus, (correct me if I'm wrong) but it's one of the few levels that doesn't require a shit ton of back tracking, once you enter Grunty Ind, you can complete it 100%
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIII
basic gruntlings are the cutest enemies in the series and you can't change my mind
You are all wrong. THIS is the best Tooie enemy.
fuck
>tfw no revisioned Banjo-Kazooie game that takes inspiration from Dark Souls, such as world interconnectivity, levelling up stats, and unlocking attire
>no health bars on enemies, no stats to increase egg damage, or attack power, or talon trot speed
>no being able to go from Spiral Mountain, to Isle O Hags, to Mumbos Mountain, and then take an elevator back down to Spiral Mountain
Witchyworld>Grunty Industries>Mayahem Temple>Jolly Roger's Lagoon>Glitter Gulch Mine>Cloud Cuckooland>>>>>>>Dogshit>>>Hailfire Peaks>>>>>>>>>>Terrydactyland
>completely forgets old king coal and the banging ost
gtfo shitter
>literally the easiest boss in the whole game
DESPITE BEING ONLY 13% OF THE POPULATION
You're missing an import reason as to why it's awful
>half of the jiggies require playing a stupid minigame to get
RAWR
MREOWR
It has about the same amount of backtracking as the rest of the game; 1 to 2 things. GI has two jiggies you need banjo solo abilities for.
>GGM
>Witchyworld
>GI
Where the fuck are my Hailfire Peaks Bros at
>not liking hail-fire peaks
Dogshit>>>>>>>>>>>>>this opinion
GGM is my favorite Kazooie level
this game has really good jiggle physics btw, reflections too.
I like the ice side but the fire side is where the "Tooie is too big and empty" meme truly applies
Ice side is kino, fire side feels unfinished. So ultimately, HFP is a 6/10
I thought that meme was about nuts and bolts
Also, ironically, I always thought the ice side was too claustrophobic and wish it had been as big as the fire side
Hailfire Peaks was aesthetic perfection at least.
Also love the re-encounter with the aliens.
It's funny. I greatly prefer the style of Tooie to the original but it's definitely more of a slog.
