Weren't people still talking about that game a year or two after launch?
But bioshock infinite is the only decent bioshock game

Holy fuck this. It doesn't matter where you go online, you'll always see the same exact, almost copy paste comments regurgitated about that overly glorified telltale "game". "It's a masterpiece", "the greatest game I've ever played", etc. Either there's a lot of underage redditors that need to play more video games if they genuinely believe this, or more than likely, it's just as you said, bots that keep repeating this shit.
Apex Legends
Undertale
Celeste
I've only just picked it up last week, it's a pretty decent game but its strongest suits are its ambience by a long shot
music, visual, and voice acting is all easy 9/10 or maybe even 10/10 but the actual meat of the gameplay feels kinda janky and unfocused sometimes
not sure what OP's on about with botfarms and astrojournalists but it really feels like the game was hyped up a little too much
KCD was great you pleb
>wahhhhh people disagree with me
Yes
Yes
What? Dude Celeste is (fun) try playing it
I don't really think it's bots. CDPR wouldn't really have much to gain from a bot farm promoting a game that they already finished over 3 years ago. It's probably just underages and dudebros who need to play more games. Remember all the people calling Skyrim GOTYAY back in 2011-12?
>thinks Undertale is overrated
>thinks Celeste is fun
Dafuq? You probably would even say that I should play PUBG instead of Apex.
Apex Legends had one of the most dishonest marketing campaigns I've seen, including the fact they paid the shills to tell everyone how "it totally came out of nowhere and had no marketing whatsoever!!!" while every single top streamer was hired to play and promote it. They also took to chance to try to make people buy titanfall 2 "out of respect" for Respawn and tried to make fortnite look like "the game for annoying kids" so Apex would look good in comparison.
All Bethesda games
All Platinum Games
Your favorite game.
I hate Skyrim.
Most Nintendo games. If you actually believe shit like Fire Emblem and Pokemon are good, you most probably don't own a PC.
The World Ends With You
The Last Remnant
Celeste
You don't need bots to do that now, but if you do it on release, the masses will see that and repeat the behavior, specially in a hobby that more and more people are partaking in to try to fit into the perceived notion of "nerd culture" and appear smart and unique. Your average gamer is someone who looks at reviews from IGN, kotaku, gamespot, eurogamer etc and decide if a game is good or not based on the score that was regurgitated directly into his mouth. He is prone to following trends and extremely vulnerable to hype culture. So all you gotta do is set the initial narrative through aggressive marketing and then it will stay afloat by mindless individuals parroting it day and night.
CDPR employed a massive marketing campaign to try to smother any talks about what was one of biggest downgrades in video game history. It was a huge effort on their behalf to bring that narrative down and they managed.
>The Witcher 3
Butthurt anti-witcher shill detected. It's amazing that even after 4 years people are still butthurt that was good and received the praise it deserved. At some point in your life, you will need to get over it and deal with it.
I think it’s ironic that Yea Forums loves the Witcher 3 so much since this board is always crying about how gameplay is far more important than story yet the gameplay is fucking terrible in the Witcher and the story is the only good thing about it.
I will never understand how that janky slavshit became so popular. Cyberpunk looks fucking garbage for a game they’ve been hyping up for years.
Doom 4
>Remember all the people calling Skyrim GOTYAY back in 2011-12?
Funnily enough, I've seen plenty of consolefags that never played the first two Witcher games claim that Skyrim was their favorite game of all time before the Witcher 3, so you might be on to something. I don't deny that the Witcher 3 has fans that played the entire trilogy and genuinely enjoy the story and writing, but there's definitely a lot of bandwagoners that seemed to latch on to that game just because it's expected of them, especially in places like Reddit.
>specially in a hobby that more and more people are partaking in to try to fit into the perceived notion of "nerd culture" and appear smart and unique
This doesnt actually happen right?
>but there's definitely a lot of bandwagoners that seemed to latch on to that game just because it's expected of them
Sounds like the same kind of cope you hear when people say Zelda games are only praised because they are called "Zelda", and also nintendo bonus.
Monster Hunter World (and all other recent Capcom games).
It's become true, and it goes beyond the vidya industry. Comic books used to be an exclusive "nerd" thing 15 years ago, but nowadays everyone recognizes all the Marvel characters, and every new Marvel capeshit makes a billion dollars at the box office. The same thing happened with Star Wars.
>The same thing happened with Star Wars
Hi sir or madam I am nearing 55 and I want to let you know that Star Wars was always a goddamn mainstream pop hit. The only thing nerds ever had to themselves from Star Wars was the EU and that's its own fucking punishment.
>if I don't like it, it's only popular due to astroturfing
Man, you guys are faggots.
the shitcher is garbage like all wrpgs.
